Jul 2, 2021Summary:
Great, nostalgic, atmospheric game. The progress is huge compared to the first two games from 'Emily is Away' franchise. Yet, for some reason, I got a little bit bored with this teenage 'romance' stuff. But the game is still worth playing and the player should try it out. -
Aug 19, 2022Definitely better than the previous installments. Adding a Mat helped the atmosphere and realism of the game a ton. I really enjoyed it. Although I expected more options and better story elements.

Apr 23, 2021This game presents a very normative, happy retrospective for what was the basis of our interactions becoming commodified by surveillance. It’s impossible to untangle the complex mess of pop culture and corporate harm from one another. Yet, Emily is Away <3 seems to only remember the sugary sweet poke wars. That doesn’t make it a bad game, but it does make it a naïve one.

Apr 17, 2021Emily is Away < 3 doesn’t wear your nostalgia like a mask, it brings you back to the feelings of being a high schooler when the world is only as big as your social group.
