    Combat is weird, I average about a crash an hour, graphics are alright, overall i think they tried to incorporate too much stuff into this game without refining any of it. It's still somewhat fun but I would not recomend paying full price for it, I'd wait a few years and wait for the price to go down.

    I don't understand all the tens this game is getting, seems like most of these accounts specifically made accounts to give this game a ten.
    Is this game any good? short answer no, the most obvious issue is the bugs, glitches and crashes. This game is on the level of assassin creed unity in terms of technical issues. Ocarina of time, a game that came out 19 years ago has much better gameplay, controls and hitboxes, so i am just in shock at how this game cant even best a 19 year old game....    … Expand

    This game is plain awful. The voice acting sounds like it's from a 2005 game. The sound and animations are probably the worst I've ever seen in a game. Sometimes the music just disappears right in the middle of cutscenes.     The weakest Piranha Bytes game. **** story and dialogues, poor combat system and game mechanics, graphics and animations like in 2001, unlogical mix of fantasy, postapo and science fiction, empty world and many other disadventages make this game crap of the year 2017.

    Give me my money back! This is the worst game I played this year. I can call yourself as a fan of Gothic games but Elex is a big dissapointment for me.

    Nie polecam fanom gothic. Gra to totalna porażka i dno. Nudna fabuła, nielogiczne, infantylne i pełne patosu dialogi, beznadziejny system walki bronią białą i jeszcze gorszy przy broni dystansowej gdzie dodatkowo podczas strzelania ma się wrażenie używania plastikowych zabawek a nie potężnej broni. Animacje to standardowo symulator drewna a grafika jest utrzymana w standardach sprzedNie polecam fanom gothic. Gra to totalna porażka i dno. Nudna fabuła, nielogiczne, infantylne i pełne patosu dialogi, beznadziejny system walki bronią białą i jeszcze gorszy przy broni dystansowej gdzie dodatkowo podczas strzelania ma się wrażenie używania plastikowych zabawek a nie potężnej broni. Animacje to standardowo symulator drewna a grafika jest utrzymana w standardach sprzed dekady. Interfejs jest brzydki i nieczytelny. Zadania powtarzalne i z cyklu przynieś podaj pozamiataj. Klimatu ta gra nie ma ze względu na beznadziejny setting łączący totalnie różne nurty od fantasy przez postapokalipsę po science-fiction. Uniwersum jest przez to niespójne i nielogiczne a przez całą grę towarzyszy nam uczucie żenady jak oglądamy średniowiecznych Paladynów którzy strzelają z drewnianych łuków do mechów i dinozaurów. Poziom trudności jest źle wyważony i sztucznie zawyżony przez podbicie statystyk bo na każdym poziomie AI jest tak smo głupie. Jedyną zaletą jest oparcie gry o Gothicowy schemat (nauczyciele, frakcje, plecak bez dna itp) ale to za mało kiedy każdy podstawowy element gry leży. Szczerze nie polecam, szczególnie, że gra ma cenę gry AAA a to co oferuje to jakaś klasa D.… Expand

    This game cost 50$ like AAA game while this is like indie game with very low budget. Graphics are like in 2007 and animations from 2000. What a piece of wood...

    This is just the next Piranha Bytes crap. They are just too weak to make good and playable game like Skyrim or Witcher 3. They are still in 2001 when first Gothic was released. Nothing changed to this time - Elex is their next same, bugged, outdated and unplayable game.

    If you know end of this game you know that developers just cutted story in half and now they plan to release Elex 2 with the rest of story. What a shame... I will not pay twice for the one game!!! 0/10.

    Elex is een zeer grote teleurstelling en ik ben als fan van Gothic denken dat het het slechtste Piranha Bytes spel is. Het is onvoltooid, verouderd en niet speelbaar. Ik kan dit spel niet aanraden.

    Terrible game, it's so boring and easy. The quests are cliche, the main character is an emotionless robot and the soundtrack is awful. One of the worst indie games i have ever played.

    some people can't get the difference between challenging games vs. games with cheaply designed/clunky combat. dark souls is a challenging game with well designed combat mechanics, whereas elex and risen 2/3 are definitely not. adding useless companions or enemies with terrible AI doesn't help the combat quality either.    … Expand

    Бросил игру спустя 15 часов, не найдя в ней ничего того, что нашел в Г1-2 и Р1. Пустой мир, рандомно раскиданные мобы, деревянные нпц, квесты, которые вызывают зевоту в лучшем случае, а чаще раздражение. Идиотская раскачка, дающая вкачаться до капа хоть на 1м уровне, имей терпение, амулет на воровство и рецепт элекса; все скиллы от начала и до капа качаются в стартовом городе.
    Убогая    Бросил игру спустя 15 часов, не найдя в ней ничего того, что нашел в Г1-2 и Р1.     Убогая система боя, развития по мере прокачки в плане анимации и тактики НОЛЬ. Доспехи фракция не дают ничего. Убер имбовые пушки собираются за час после старта игры, если до этого уже пробегался по миру и находил их, которые разваливают все и вся, даже если ты 1 лвл опять же.
    Тупой лут, во всех суперсекьюрных ящиках и компах туалетная бумага, сигареты и прочий мусор.
    Мобы на локации спавнятся заново спустя полчаса игрового времени. Тупейший АИ, что противника, что соратника: соратник - это вообще пздц, о нем даже говорить не буду, противник - видя тебя за сто метров, достает мили палку и бежит в упор сражаться вместо того, чтобы достать ренж оружие, которое у него есть, ведь при взлете на джетпаке он его достает.
    Крафт бесполезен, за игру есть смысл только 2 раза улучшить оружие, что тебе нравится, и воткнуть в него пару гемов.
    Сюжет высосан из пальца и не то, чтобы не цепляет, он вызывает раздражение своей тупостью, прямотой и однообразностью.
    Графика, ну с ней можно было бы сжиться, если бы не было все так плохо, что описано выше.
    Мир, лор и тд: сборная солянка, граничащая с безумием, в которой с лука ты можешь ушатать пятиметрового робокопа эффективнее, чем с бластера. На весь лор 2 истории, описывающие что же все-таки произошло тут, и ту надо собирать по аудиозаписям, которые разбросаны рандомно по миру, то есть шанс того, что про лор ты так ничего и не узнаешь крайне велик.
    Повсеместные баги со всем (квесты, нпц, геодизайн, анимации, диалоги), лаги, отвратительный перевод. Вылеты после пары часов игры, 5 фпс на карте в пипбое (ps4 pro). Кривое управление.

    Спасибо ПБ, за то, что поставили точку в моих размышлениях "быть или не быть" вашей репутации для меня как фаната г1-2 и р1. Однозначно не быть, никогда более. Надеюсь, это последняя ваша потуга заработать денег под гимном "ну мы же маленькая студия, с нас взятки-гладки". Точка.

Wahrend man selbst mit Level 40 nur wenig Ausdauer hat, ist es den Gegnern möglich ununterbrochen Schläge auszuteilen.......Was haben die Entwickler sich dabei gedacht?     The hitbox is like quantum physics, you never know what exactly you are. Story... I prefer even main story from Skyrim. When the story began interesting, the game ended. On start also was nice.     Elex is a hard game to genuinely recommend, it does so many important things to only an acceptable level or worse. It's a game that's carried based on the strength of its quest design, or more pessimistically, one that's let down by a general lack of polish and uninteresting combat. It feels like a nice refreshing counterpart to some modern rpgs that treat their quest lists more like chores, but as a complete package, it falls disappointingly short.

    A flawed jewel. Beneath its layers a sophisticated game is hidden, created with love yet with bugs and poor technical design. The game mechanics are the top, but they are nowadays detrimental. Whoever wants to find a treasure in Elex, must try very hard.

    Although dialogue writers were burning the midnight oil, the team responsible for combat was obviously slacking off and did nothing to really improve that mess of a close combat which ELEX inherited from Risen. Monster fights are as choppy, unnatural and buggy as ever, for example, enemies slide right up a steep slope if they happen to dodge in that direction. [Issue#225, p.68]
