This is the single most immersive VR game I have ever played, to the extent that all the superlatives that I can think of do not do itThis is the single most immersive VR game I have ever played, to the extent that all the superlatives that I can think of do not do it justice. I play on Oculus Quest 2 and the wireless experience is, in my opinion, of importance because it allows great freedom of movement when playing in a large open space. Hop in, team up with strangers and float around in zero-g while playing Ready Player One's equivalent of Dodgeball in a seamless experience reminding me of Ender's Game (the book, of course). Although this time, you are allowed to punch people in the face and boy does it feel good to grab that disc after punching an unaware opponent in the back of his head.

The graphics remind of Rocket League in the sense that there is a huge amount of polish and detail for a game that's not even finished (I'm looking at you, combat arena!). Don't be alarmed by the amount of geometric Tron-like imagery: all those lines are there for a reason! By aiming shots at critical intersections you can bounce shots that would make Ray Reardon (snooker) beam with pride. This also allows for insanely complex teamwork and 1-2 combinations between players and I often lost sight of what was going on not because what was going on was chaotic, but because my brain could'nt process the math behind some people's throws.

The controls are of equally high standards, being both intuitive and requiring finesse. Easy to learn, hard to master comes to mind.

After a week of play I had sore muscles and many ignored duties on a pile on my desk. I do not care. At the moment I'm training my left underhanded wall-bounce shots while upside down. This game is NOT for those with motion sickness, but if your stomach (and brain!) can stand it, it delivers a lag-free and fast-paced experience that rivals the best of E-sports... with the added benefit of keeping you fit. Highly recommend you try it at least once, 10/10.
