  • Summary: Wolf Team's classic action series "Ernest Evans" will be re-released as "Ernest Evans COLLECTION (tentative title)" for current consoles including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, with titles "El Viento (Mega Drive)," "Ernest Evans (Mega CD)," and "Annette Returns (MegaWolf Team's classic action series "Ernest Evans" will be re-released as "Ernest Evans COLLECTION (tentative title)" for current consoles including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, with titles "El Viento (Mega Drive)," "Ernest Evans (Mega CD)," and "Annette Returns (Mega CD)."

    While recreating the atmosphere and feel of the original release, we plan to add elements that will be enjoyed by a wide range of game fans, not just fans of the original.

    Earnest Evans Collection compiles three cult 90s Wolf Team action titles that showcase striking pixel art, ambitious presentation, and memorable music, but the experience is undermined by loose controls, chaotic combat, and weak game design that make these relics more historically interesting than genuinely enjoyable.

    Earnest Evans Collection is not the throwback to the great games of yesteryear that I had hoped for. Rather, it is a reminder that for every old retro game we love and look back on with nostalgic glasses, there were also lots of half-baked wannabes.
