  • Summary: Dungeon Defenders II is the sequel to our popular tower-defense role-playing game, Dungeon Defenders. Unlike it's predecessor, Dungeon Defenders II features a cooperative and competitive mode. Heroes, cosmetic items, pets, and more will transfer across both modes.

    The cooperative mode is the true sequel to Dungeon Defenders. Expect more heroes, more towers and even more loot. New features like an expanded story and a 24-player overworld are also in the works.
    The competitive mode is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena set in the Dungeon Defenders universe. Together, 5 players will take up arms to defend their towers against the opposing team. This fast-paced, streamlined MOBA aims for a shorter learning curve and more rpg-esque take on the genre.    … Expand

    Dungeon Defenders II offers the same unique blend of action RPG and tower defense games of its predecessor while adding some new features that deepen the experience. The tower defense elements are still more important than the action RPG ones, but there's still plenty to keep fans of both genres engaged. Things, however, can get grindy if you want to unlock everything without spending money, so don't expect the experience to feel fresh if you plan on doing so.

    I'm surprised that this game doesn't have more/better ratings on Metacritic. It's a good game.

    Its a chill tower defence game to play for a night with your friends. I enjoyed it.

    Dunno what they are doing here. It makes absolutly no sense to do an Early Access here, so they are just a few maps which are not as good asDunno what they are doing here. It makes absolutly no sense to do an Early Access here, so they are just a few maps which are not as good as the ones from DDI. Unfortunately they didnt fix core problems from the previously one e.g. long-term motivation and character devolopment. you are forced to play every map 6 or 7 times to reach max level (if you consider higher difficultys its even more). Not recommended, very repetetive, grinding gameplay. Never worth 25$.… Expand
