Everything that is good about it, the game owes to being a Duke Nukem 3D expansion, which in my opinion, is one of the best and also the most memorable first person shooters ever made. This one offers no new weapons, no new enemies, so it doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Level design is a mixed bag with some good levels and some horrible maze-like levels (I’m looking right at you “Smithsonian Terror”).

In short, if you played Duke Nukem 3D, you are already a big fan. You can give Duke it out in D.C. a shot if you want more of the same, with different levels. But this is a game you will only play once and leave aside, whereas Duke Nukem 3D, is one that you will revisit forever.
