Duck Side of the Moon is a quacking good time: an adorable space-bound adventure with simple yet inviting mechanics, silly yet engaging writing, and the occasional shockingly emotional moment. For those looking for a relaxing game, this title will more than hit the mark, winning you over with its unique score, fun exploration at your own pace, and overall memorable experiences.

Duck Side of the Moon is a great addition to the cozy game genre and one that adds more interaction than many other titles. It often feels like a fusion of modern cozy game and classic collectathons which makes for a fantastic feel-good time and one that I really enjoyed.

Duck Side of the Moon is a charming and quirky space adventure that shines brightest through Doug himself and its relaxed, well-paced exploration. While the humor can feel a bit forced at times and the difficulty leans on the easy side, it remains an enjoyable five-hour ride filled with variety, charm, and plenty of duck-powered personality.

It's very short but oh-so-sweet: Duck Side of the Moon is a cosy adventure about repairing your ship after crash-landing on a rocky planet, and it'll warm your heart. It's just a shame that it's done with in only a few hours.

In the end, Duck Side of the Moon is one of those experiences that thrives on its identity. It knows exactly what it wants to be, a slightly odd but thoughtful collectathon with a duck in space, and it delivers on that vision without overcomplicating things. The combination of exploration, puzzle-solving, and understated storytelling creates a cohesive experience that’s easy to get lost in. There are moments where the pacing could feel a bit uneven, and the point-of-no-return system won’t be for everyone. But these are relatively minor bumps in an otherwise smooth journey. The game balances humor and sincerity successfully. It’s a rather complicated mix, but one that Duck Side of the Moon handles with surprising ease.
