Shrek the Third doesn’t take a lot of chances with its license or gameplay. It is essentially a beat-em-up platformer that provides an extension of the movie with a very light amount of challenge.
-
It won’t keep mature gamers’ attention for very long, but kids will love it.
-
The game captures the feel of the franchise, but seriously lacks any sort of depth or attention to detail, as the game is ridden with buggy areas, odd animation glitches, and an entirely linear design.
-
There is a demo online for PC gamers to test it out before playing it. I’d personally recommend that route for older gamers. Younger games will eat this up like candy.
-
There are several attempts at greatness, like the mini-games that can be enjoyed with your friends. Yet, the mini-games are more of a distraction than anything else.
-
Feels rushed and unrefined - certainly not enough to make a memorable impact on the gaming scene.
-
I enjoyed playing Shrek the Third because it is a fun, uncomplicated title that is accessible to action fans of all ages. It's a linear adventure, though, so don't expect a whole lot of replay value.

PC Zone UKAwkward, clumsy, and unpolished. [Sept 2007, p.85]
-
The gameplay and value are pretty decent but could have been much better with a little effort.
-
PC Gamer UKDepressing, derivative movie cash-in. [Sept 2007, p.88]

Sep 9, 2022Ничем не выделяющийся платфомер как и 2 часть. Игра сделана безразлично

Oct 10, 2020I loved Shrek 2, but this entry in the series is just rubbish. Everything is worse, and some additions are very underwhelming.

Nov 15, 2019Game looks like she swim in soap-water. What happen with graphic? All so blurry.
