Aug 2, 2023Don't waste your money in this game, it is a complete mess, slow movements no enemy variety, boring bosses, awful music and a mediocre pixel art. I have never regretted a purchase so much. This is not the Double Dragon game we deserved.

Aug 2, 2023I made an account just to warn other players of playing this game, it's a dreadful experience you want to avoid at all costs.

Aug 4, 2023Really fun game. Remember you have to cancel your attacks recovery into run or jumps in order to have good mobility. Try to get as much special KOs and crowd controls too.

Jul 31, 2023Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is a solid beat ‘em up that fans will enjoy in solo or cooperative play. It might not be the greatest beat ‘em up that has been released over the last few years, and the lack of online in a time where most people will be playing cooperatively this way is a big shame, but even so, this release is certainly one of the more interesting ones in the genre and offers fun for a few hours to grind through the unlocks in the shop.

Jul 28, 2023Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is an exceptional side-scrolling beat ‘em up that infuses modern elements into the classic structure to make it more than the sum of its parts. Short, sweet and with a fascinating tag team mechanic at its heart, this old-school treat is worth a bash.

Jul 28, 2023In all, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is a fun and nostalgic beat'em up with a pleasant amount of replayability, before even mentioning the local co-op to allow for even more of that good old arcade feeling. The only real issue this reviewer found while playing is that players may feel railroaded by whichever route through levels they find the easiest. That being said, if you're a fan of Double Dragon, beat‘em ups, or roguelike games that toy with a different genre, then Rise of the Dragons comes highly recommended!
