    In an intense rooftop firefight with a fellow player, my target backpedaled off of the building. I fearlessly leaped off after my foe, and we began filling each other with lead as we fell to our eminent doom. This moment wouldn't have been complete, however, if another player hadn't jumped off the roof to kill me. I killed the player above me, then was killed by the player below me. He hit the ground and die from a sudden stop.

    10/10 would be an idiotic badass again    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game has a cool concept but doesnt pool it off well and overall gets boring after about an hour and even quicker when you play solo. Bad gam 1 star… Expand

    Actually the best game on steam, I would love to play it more but my friends are **** and won't play it with me :( they don't like backflips or shotguns

    Ok... Combinamos CS1.6, Max Payne 2, y mecánicas de movimiento casi igual de rotas que en Saints Row 2. Lo que consigues es "Double Action Boogalo". Así de simple. El motor gráfico de CS1.6, el sistema de tiros y saltos de Max Payne 2, y la horrible, HORRIBLE MOVILIDAD de Saints Row 2. Pero aun así, funciona, todo funciona y esta equilibrado. Además, este juego es gratis y no tieneOk... Combinamos CS1.6, Max Payne 2, y mecánicas de movimiento casi igual de rotas que en Saints Row 2. Lo que consigues es "Double Action Boogalo". Así de simple. El motor gráfico de CS1.6, el sistema de tiros y saltos de Max Payne 2, y la horrible, HORRIBLE MOVILIDAD de Saints Row 2. Pero aun así, funciona, todo funciona y esta equilibrado. Además, este juego es gratis y no tiene transacciones de ningún tipo. No tienes que pagar por ventajas, todos tienen lo mismo y tienes que dominar el arma que elijas. Es divertido, como si fuera la Matrix pero con muchos glichs. Es divertido, algo repetitivo pero como es gratis, a quien le importa. Le doy un 07/10. Hasta un PC de gamma baja lo puede correr. Aun que eso si, tiene algunos hackers. Lo digo en serio, eh visto jugadores muy hábiles, pero también algunos que disparan con una metralleta como si fuera un sniper super preciso mientras saltan por todo el lugar. No eh visto muchos, en 15 horas solo 2. Pero no puedo negar que es divertido a pesar de eso.… Expand

    I was poking around on Steam, ballin on a budget, trying to find free games with high ratings. I got Alien Swarm, TF2 (redownloaded) and this. It is extremely fun. Although sometimes the lag ruins the game, it doesn't happen often.
    Basically in this game, you run around the map killing everyone, free-for-all. The cool part is that you get more points for getting cooler kills. Once, I was playing on the rooftop map, and I shot out a window, dove through it, and got a triple kill. I can't think of any other games that make you feel as much of a badass every time you get a kill (except for Dota 2) You can switch from first to third person, which is a great bonus. The graphics aren't the best, but you'll hardly notice once you get in. And it's FREE. So even if you don't like it, you're not losing any money. Just try it out. You will probably like it as much as I do, ESPECIALLY if you like getting badass kills    … Expand

    Short story: Pretty awesome.

    The slightly longer story: DA:B makes you feel like an absolute badass every time you get a kill, and the slow motion, diving under tables, through elevator shafts and from building to building while filling other players with bullets is what makes this game awesome. And it's free.

    Certainly one of the more badass free games on Steam.

    Max Payne 3 wishes it has multiplayer as good as this game. Run around at full speed, shoot from the hip, dive around like the world is made of sugar glass and enjoy some of the most spectacular slow-motion kills in gaming.

    the best game ever if you don't like it you are a nerd i give it 10/10 because it is so good and noone can tell me otherwise and jacob can actually suck a mini penis

    The best game you can play with your friends, how about jumping off a skyscraper and melee fighting your friend in slow motion in mid air. Can you ask for a better game?

The    If I wanted to find a great shoot 'em up game that does not just have a first-person camera but a third-person camera and perform actual parkour in the game then this is the game I would really play and the best part is absolutely free.

    Double Action: Boogaloo is one of the most action-packed arena shooter games to ever play on Steam.

    Unlike the other usual first-person shooters. The game has third-person mode meaning obviously that we get to see our playable characters take action. The game not just changes characters but we can also get to change characters' equipment to whatever fits our play style depending on the slots. The game can be parkour but with backflips and all but also shoot more like Max Payne which we can perform slow-motion moves while in multiplayer believe me that this is one of the first games I played that has multiplayer.

    I even like the Activation bar system in this game. The more kills I get the stronger I can and so are the live mission modes just to make it more fun while killing while activating. I mostly like the bouncer

    However, some of the parts are heavily recognizable and it is more like Gmod rather than an original game. One example is the character named Eight who according to the bio is a gambler. The weird thing is Eightball looks like Nick from Left 4 Dead 2 but his dress shirt is red instead of blue.

    The game may not look very polished but in the years to come this game would absolutely be a total hit.    … Expand
