    No rewards for Beta Players, complete wipe of stats etc.
    Same inbalance as before. When u need 1x unit and u dont get it in 25 Rounds than u know what Valve made balance is.
    R.I.P. the game. Beta Review: There now some games to compare with: Riot Games: LoL Teamfight Tactics Valve DotA 2: Auto Chess Epic Games: Auto Chess (a lot issues, better to play on Smartphone)    No rewards for Beta Players, complete wipe of stats etc.

    There now some games to compare with:

    Riot Games: LoL Teamfight Tactics
    Valve DotA 2: Auto Chess

    Epic Games: Auto Chess (a lot issues, better to play on Smartphone)
    Blizzard: Hearthstone Battlegrounds (not really a Auto Chess)

    They are all not very fair or balanced, but Underlords & Teamfight Tactics are the best in handling, bugs etc. also both are avialable for Smartphones iOS & Android

    Actually there less cheaters, some guys use assist tools that tell them what to buy and what a build they should use. But there no other hacks at the moment.

    It is better than DotA Auto Chess but still......

    Unfair, Inbalanced, nothing explained, no learning by doing
    same crap as DotA 2 Auto Chess

    Its an interesting and good idea and gameplay but i really really hope some other developers will pick it up and do a much better game out of it.    … Expand

    The game aims to produce massive shots of dopamine/adrenaline because of RNG and limited time but since the mechanics are so buggy it often leads to frustration-full-throttle. If you require players to do multiple things simultaneously and give them bugged mechanics, just f.u.

    I am mostly playing duo with my friend, and the RNG is abysmal. Gotta love how you are waiting for a last unit to complete for your 3 star hero - Phantom Assasin in my case and it never came. 3 slots are taken because you will never complete it even though nobody is playing her except for me. Is it a bad game? No. Is it a good game? No. Sometimes you have a blast having 7 3-star heroes.I am mostly playing duo with my friend, and the RNG is abysmal. Is it a bad game? No. Is it a good game? No. Sometimes you have a blast having 7 3-star heroes. Sometimes you get one 3-star and you are done. Warlocks got deleted, and so did bugs (weaver, broodmother etc). The amount of 3-stars is not really the only thing that wins, but certainly a player having 6 3-stars will win against someone with only one. The systeam of damage calculation is often not counting properly - my two-star furion dealt 1 damage to enemy player instead of two damage. The AI targeting is also **** up. Getting stunned resets the target for autoattacks - even if the attacked unit has less than 5% HP - your unit will change his target after stun. And so you lose another HP because of the moronic system the game has - or rather the lack of a system as everything is random. Searching for a match sometimes takes longer than the match itself.… Expand

    Ну что тут можно сказать? Валв как обычно из крутых игр делает гробовозки и последнее обновление над которым они 2 месяца бедолаги трудились тому доказательство. Я с удовольствием играл в игру до патча, но теперь у меня нет желания в нее играть, потому что они все уничтожили что было хорошего в ней до патча с лордами, которых всего два.
    Как итог, я бы поставил палец вверх и рекомендовал    Ну что тут можно сказать?     its an alright game. Ive played for about 140 hours and there a many pros/cons. First of all, the game is well developed. It runs mostly problem-free and looks fine. It gets regular balance and content-updates. Its free to play with optional monetization if you choose to.

    The big problems with this game lie in balancing of heros/alliances/items. Because of this awful balance, in order    its an alright game. Ive played for about 140 hours and there a many pros/cons. First of all, the game is well developed. It runs mostly problem-free and looks fine. It gets regular balance and content-updates. Its free to play with optional monetization if you choose to.

    The big problems with this game lie in balancing of heros/alliances/items. Because of this awful balance, in order to prevent everyone from playing the same combos every game, they introduced another frustrating mechanic: The shared hero pool. It means that you can (and have to in ranked) deny other players their desired strategy by purchasing and selling towers they would require. This is widely considered frustrating for all participants.

    This game is only fun, if youre playing with bad players unfortunately.    … Expand

    The core gameplay is fun once you start, but the more you play the more you realize that it's horribly balanced, with all builds funneling into one or two viable alliances while others aren't purchased at all. Certain units are woefully overpowered, and others will never see the light of day. The game is riddled with bugs, mobile suffering the worst from it. Menus are finicky, frustrating match making that pairs you with someone you've lost to multiple times in a row, quests not completing or tracking, achievements not working, no steam achievements, etc. Most of the rewards the players earned from the beta have been wiped away, and frequent balance changes make the game frustrating to keep up with, having you need to check the radical changes they've made on the patch notes every three days. On one hand it shows Valve is at least trying, but it doesn't mean much when they're just passing the torch of a broken mechanic to another alliance/character.… Expand

    A game that tries to be complex by adding convoluted mechanics but ultimately, none of that matters since everything boils down to RNG.

    I probably would rate it higher if valve had actually tried to accomplish something other than just flipping dota assets and making a game around it. It these were complete new characters, and the system wasn't so full of RNG bull crap then I would certainly recommend it strongly... But as of right now, it's just meh at best.

    OMG, what an amazing game! Besides being a giant Dota 2 asset flippity floppy, the gameplay is fairly sucky, completely RNG based and 0 fun! And the UI is jaw-droppingly horrendous for such a simplistic game. Valve, this is it, keep doing games like this and you will win over Epic Games easily..

    Seriously, I'd rather play Direct Strike in Starcraft 2, you can adjust your troops    OMG, what an amazing game! Besides being a giant Dota 2 asset flippity floppy, the gameplay is fairly sucky, completely RNG based and 0 fun! And the UI is jaw-droppingly horrendous for such a simplistic game. Valve, this is it, keep doing games like this and you will win over Epic Games easily..

    Seriously, I'd rather play Direct Strike in Starcraft 2, you can adjust your troops according to your enemy (since you can 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3) the factions and commanders are pretty easy to learn and predict, there is free and premium customization and the mod is FUN because there is almost no RNG. Both Starcraft 2 and Direct Strike mod is free and you can install the mod within half a minute inside the game.

    I might try the Auto Chess in Epic Games store, but seems like Dota Underlords is not for me at all.    … Expand

    The Underlords themselves, among with a bunch of different changes in game mechanics and a robust progression system, make Valve’s auto battler a compelling evolution in the genre. [05/2020, p.66]

    Dota Underlords is a diverse and constantly captivating experience where no match plays out the same way twice. Having been with the genre since it was a custom map mod, it's heartening to see it executed as well as it has been here. Outwitting your opponents and the odds through clever thinking is always immensely satisfying, and the game's complexity means that there are plenty of interesting strategies to try. Dota Underlords is a wonderfully robust and well-crafted strategy game that is very easy to lose yourself in.
