    Not real Dota just a cheap half assed imitation of Dota and all MOBA's in general with new a League
    of Legends HUD and heroes do not forget that "Blue Buff" Bull Sh1t, Heroes of the Storm Talent Tree,
    IMBA abilities.

    They did not change everything thankfully the Uninstall Button Is still working the way it used to.

    Чесно говоря,я не вижу смысла играть или скачивать эту игру в 2020 году.У нас есть более популярные и интересные варианты жанра МОБА такие как LoL и т.д.В доте есть лишь ОДНА,карта,вариативности почти нет,а баланс исчез уже с давними обновлениями.Я играл в эту игру на протижении 5 лет и сравнивая даже с Лигой Легенд всё очень плохо.К тому же,возможно это есть только в русской версииЧесно говоря,я не вижу смысла играть или скачивать эту игру в 2020 году.У нас есть более популярные и интересные варианты жанра МОБА такие как LoL и т.д.В доте есть лишь ОДНА,карта,вариативности почти нет,а баланс исчез уже с давними обновлениями.Я играл в эту игру на протижении 5 лет и сравнивая даже с Лигой Легенд всё очень плохо.К тому же,возможно это есть только в русской версии игры,но одна из главных проблем это глупое и агрессивное комьюнити.Раньше Dota 2 была крутой игрой,но теперь ситуация очень и очень плоха...… Expand

    Was fun before, everything is going downhill after they released that BS "talent tree" lmao. It's not even f*****g balanced anymore. My 7/10 games had always a booster or smurfing, it was so unplayable to my account. And last is teammates were always brain dead, couldn't properly draft or what's the right pick. GG.

    One of the most horrible yet addictive games of them all. But don't be delusional, it's for kids with scripts, bug and glitch users. Terrible community, p2w mechanics in half of custom maps, ppl smurfing to have fun while you can't raise your rating. Basically, its the same as LoL nowadays, just with more toxic mechanics and slower gameplay. Both games have shifted to burst meta, likeOne of the most horrible yet addictive games of them all.     Dota had its pinnacle with Dota 2 Source 1, then came Reborn and Valves wish to sell more stuff such as terrain tile sets, it came with a lot of bugs and player base took a major hit, but it was still Dota so people slowly started to come back to this uglier version. Now Dota 2 is no longer Dota. All competitive factors are lost and its greatness is lost due to greed. Small example; player HUD used to be same size for all heroes, now it changes from hero to hero covering more or less screen space thus making it unequal. Entire patch was made to decrees skill needed to play aka pro plays are less rewarding. I don`t blame Icefrog I guess he got tricked. Rip Dota, it was safer in Blizzards hands...… Expand

    no communication from valve, Icefrog silence since ages this game is gonna be dead soon. To top it off, the annual event i.e DIRETIDE was not given. Volvo is much better at least they are listening to the gamers but this valve... duh!

    Waste of time, this game has nothing good, only a OP characters! there are 102 chars and 20 playable, because the others are useless. only one map. Sound track terrible. I dont know why i donwload this.

    There is no communication with the community! Their goal is makig money... nothing more. Game is fun tough, but where is the support from Valve?? For example DireTide is supposed to be an ANNUAL event... no not this time. Promising? Yes, but nothing more in reality!

    Dota 2 is an amazing game, made by an absolutely terrible team. Hasn't been updated in almost a half a year, no community interaction on what's going on, while the only thing that gets added is cash shop items.

I know people can be a bit hostile, I am too, that is because in this game, if someone mess it up real hard, then you most likely lose the game.     Valve actually destroyed the soul of DotA 1. I believe that they did it just because of money. Game has been changed literally over night with this new patch, so they can sell new sets for heroes and earn more money. BRING BACK OLD DOTA GAMEPLAY!

    1) This is probably the most fun game of the last decade. 2) Valve does not have a capable team designing the matchmaking system. 3) Valve is incapable of matching arranged teams. Not even remotely. 4) Valve does not allow a solo queue (they had one and it was fantastic, so they removed it) Statements 2-4 ensure that 1    There are four very important things to know about this game.

    If you do wish to have fun, you must find four players of your EXACT skill level, no variance whatsoever. And you must only play with them. If even one is missing expect a poor match. Since finding four players at your exact level and only playing with a full team is virtually impossible you're pretty much hosed. Expect 90% of games to be blowouts one way or the other.

    I find LoL to be the brain-dead version of DOTA, but they at least got the matchmaking system right, so unfortunately it's LoL from here on out.    … Expand

    This game is ruined by the people who play it. Yet its a multiplayer game. So you cannot win at all. Therefore whats the point. Its ruined by the very thing its supposed to be the main aspect of it. God **** damn it man.

Graphics are pretty great but graphics should never be taken into account unless they're jarring.     This game is not better than Digger and I wanted rate Dota 2 in 0/10, but Pudge make this game is better . Graphics in this game is suck, Gameplay isnt interesting, WOW is much better than Dota 2 .     The problem with Dota has always been that for a team game, there is no incentive to play support.     Rather than try to fix this, Valve just keeps buffing the carry heroes who are easy to play and own with. This is because their popularity creates revenue in skin sales. Patch 7 means that with talents you now have to lvl up ver quickly to stay relevant which just encourages more afk farming and less teamplay. It's a 'team' game that valve are intent on fostering into environment where no one plays as a team. That's because all they care about is now is £££ - a real shame for a game created initially because of the passion of modders.

    oh and the New hero Monkey King is a joke - every spell OP and is essentially the kind of hero that would be created by the most cancerous, carry playing Dota player you can conceive of.    … Expand

    So, before getting into the actual gameplay, I should point out the characters and matchups. First off, this might be a venial thing to point out, but what is up with the characters' names? Like seriously, it's quite obvious that the developers just named them directly after their concept. Names like "Fire Knight" "Bloodseeker" and "Enchantress" aren't exactly what I would call innovative. And why are ALL the characters 100% free to play? Like, it may seem like a really cool feature for some people, but really it's quite unnecessary. Like, if you really like a certain character, then you should be able to work toward it and make enough money to purchase the character with in-game currency, not just join the game for the first time and have all the characters at your fingertips. What makes this even more stupid is the unbalanced roster. The characters are either really OP or flat-out useless.

    And the gameplay. It's already unpleasant, repetitive and boring because, as I said before, the roster of heroes is totally out of balance. But there are another features that bland it even more. I might be most thought of as a scrub for saying this, but why is there no autolock? Like yeah, I get it, if you watch the world championships or DoTA 2 or LoL, you'll notice the players aren't using autolock. But I'm speaking from the perspective of a casual, new player in DoTA 2, which I'm sure is why most people are reading this review. Again, this may seem very venial, but it's a pretty big issue, for me at least. Every time I move my mouse to cast an ability on an enemy, my screen display gets shoved forward, and by the time I've returned to my hero the enemy player has already slaughtered me. So then I try to keep it on my hero by consistently keeping my thumb pressed on the spacebar, and by the time the match is over my thumb hurts like hell.

The players whom make money from tournaments, provide income for valve in the tune of + $80,000,000 or more per year. Has Valve given them the green-light? Boosting services advertise on Valves site and Twitch streams. Valve knows who it is and does not stop them. Not sure why I still play as I have been walked all over. This next part is brilliant! Boosters then offer a service to remove the low priority. Therefore, valve has done nothing to change the toxicity of the community, but made it worse by a) allowing the boosters to make money messing up the ranking and causing more toxicity b) providing the boosters more business. If you are a new player to this game you will be reported and end up in low priority. People report because of the toxicity, the unfair matchmaking system which leads to frustration and a great deal of anger toward MMR. All this created by Valve and its broken system that is focused on greed and making money. Making money is a good thing, but not at the expense of your customers, fans, and supporters.… Expand

Блядская мета с героями, которые выиграют тебе игру если ты их пикнешь. То есть тут побеждает не тот, кто выкладывается на максимум на подходящем герое, а тот, кто взял метового говномеса и делает всё по инструкции, придуманной кем-то совершенно нездоровым.

    Третий минус. Матчмейкинг и не работающая система наказаний. В подборе игр участвует множество негласных переменных. Кроме рейтинга порядочности, о участии которого в подборе гадские разрабы ДО ПОСЛЕДНЕГО скрывали, в игре есть скрытый рейтинг. Тот, по которому подбираются игры в обычном и турбо-режиме, но который ПОЧЕМУ—ТО также учитывается при подборе рейтинговых игр. Сука, да это, блять, гениально! Просто понижаем последний винрейт в не-рейтинговых играх, а потом отбиваем его в рейтинге. Я так с рыцаря до легенды доабузил, правда после такого всё дольше и дольше ищет игру.

    В игре невообразимый для обычного игрока входной порог. Чтобы немножко, на базовом уровне научиться играть в эту игру, нужно провести в ней от 1000 часов чистого времени. И планка постоянно растёт, уровень игры на 5000 ММР в 2014 это примерно 3000 ММР сейчас, в 2018. Вдобавок к этому игра очень жёстко наказывает за ошибки, из-за чего игрок проигрывающей стороны может в итоге до 20 минут за игру (игра - 45 минут) просидеть "в таверне", беспомощно наблюдая как падает его база. А если в начале игры тебя или твоего тиммейта убили пару раз, ты будешь ощущать это на себе ВСЮ ОСТАВШУЮСЯ ИГРУ. А матчи в этой игре длятся в среднем от 20 до 90 минут. И всё это время ты будешь жалеть, что вообще начал.

    Резюмируя всё вышесказанное, Dota 2 — игра с худшими левацкими идеями, перенесёнными в игровые механики. Финальная оценка - 0/10.    … Expand

Trust me i have broken a dozen mouses and at least 3 keyboards in my playtime) !!!!
    In conclusion Dota is, I would not say GOOD GAME as it is excessively Unfriendly to New Gamers.... But it is a competent Game Nonetheless !!!!

They constantly release patches which only contain hats, they don't even pay enough attention to the game to release annual holiday patches.     Some days ago I registered a new account, the conduct was more than 9k, it's like the maximum. And what this system did? Yes I started to play with Gabe's family. In every second game underage sh*t-eaters was feeding and harassing each other. It's on 9k of conduct, I can to remind, a lot of players they have not this kinda conduct.
    After 25 games, I checked my new conduct, and try to guess.
    Yeah, it's 5k. I muted the chat and haven't said a word, but I has been reported.
    So well done.

    Just saying what you all probably know, there is too weak punishment for players that intentionally ruin games, thus we have many game ruiners, many smurfs and awful gaming experience, 3 games in a row I had total beginners in team vs smurfs, before that I had one guy mid intentionally going 0-10, before that I had afk etc... I wasted my time too much there, no more...

Especially, some changes were copied from HON to DOTA2 and reversed.

More burst, heroes with more active spells (Drow Ranger, Bloodseeker, Dazzle, Crobelus etc.), in general, more quicker gameplay like "competitive" scene need and wanted, especially China "competitive" scene.

    The community around the game is snobbish, and arrogant, convinced of their perfection because they play DOTA2. Because it is DOTA - hard and elite, not at all. Far easier than DOTA.
    DOTA+ is a pay-to-play program. Which gives those paying "clients" what they deserve. Backslapping games full of "owning" those players, which aren't so good. To boost their ego. There is no reason to waste time with this crap.
    Until competitive pro-players do not care about fair-play, which they never do, they are only circus apes of Valve.

    Valve bought it to have at least one MOBA game, especially a fanbase that mindlessly adores them, because they make DOTA like they want, which does not mean, how DOTA needs to be.

    Gameplay is farming, sometimes fighting and denying. Boring.

    And this dichotomy is perhaps the best descriptor I can attach to Dota 2. It is frequently a game which occupies two opposite spaces simultaneously. It is the best game. It is also the worst game. No game has ever made me as miserable as Dota 2 has. But no game has made me feel so consistently rewarded for my time, and as consistently, wonderfully connected to the friends I play it with.
