    Dota had its pinnacle with Dota 2 Source 1, then came Reborn and Valves wish to sell more stuff such as terrain tile sets, it came with a lot of bugs and player base took a major hit, but it was still Dota so people slowly started to come back to this uglier version. Now Dota 2 is no longer Dota. All competitive factors are lost and its greatness is lost due to greed. Small example; player HUD used to be same size for all heroes, now it changes from hero to hero covering more or less screen space thus making it unequal. Entire patch was made to decrees skill needed to play aka pro plays are less rewarding. I don`t blame Icefrog I guess he got tricked. Rip Dota, it was safer in Blizzards hands...… Expand

    i play form 2020 it fun and my skills grow and i have 2000 hours fun but that upade make it worst. 20.04 hype new is coming is out play 10+ matches its no more fun, you want play with toixic dudes a not Balanced lol play dota 2/3. i delete it.

    Худшая игра в мире. В общей суме я потратил на нее 5к часов и очень жалею об этом.
    Немного плюсов:
    1) С друзьями +- играбельно, даже можно фулл стаком положительные эмоции испытывать, но зачастую лишь когда вы в 5 фанитесь; 2) В игре есть интересные кастомки. Причины почему игра худшая: 1) Вообще нет баланса, в каждом патче есть имбы и эти самые патчи выходят 1 раз в хуеву тучу лет.    Худшая игра в мире. В общей суме я потратил на нее 5к часов и очень жалею об этом.
    Немного плюсов:
    1) С друзьями +- играбельно, даже можно фулл стаком положительные эмоции испытывать, но зачастую лишь когда вы в 5 фанитесь;
    2) В игре есть интересные кастомки.
    Причины почему игра худшая:
    1) Вообще нет баланса, в каждом патче есть имбы и эти самые патчи выходят 1 раз в хуеву тучу лет.
    2) На любом рейтинге тима из 4-5 чсв, которые играют на корах и садятся на саппорта только тогда, когда нужны жетоны чтобы играть на коре.
    3) Ты проебешь на ап своего скилла огромное количество времени, чтобы по итогу ничего не добиться в 95% случаев.
    4) Худшее комьюнити, в доте абсолютно нормально переходить на личности: говорить, что ты чью-то мать трахал, что у кого-то отец мертвый и т.д.
    В общем советую вообще не заходить в эту игру, лишь потратите свое время и нервы.    … Expand

    After years, it is turned into a colorful Chinese circus, not so far from LOL. All is schematized, predictable and gameplay is alot about farming. Fighting is more similar to LOL. More burst, heroes with more active spells (Drow    Started like DOTA in 2012. Every year closer and closer to LOL, and after all, even HON. Especially, some changes were copied from HON to DOTA2 and reversed.

    After years, it is turned into a colorful Chinese circus, not so far from LOL. All is schematized, predictable and gameplay is alot about farming. Fighting is more similar to LOL. More burst, heroes with more active spells (Drow Ranger, Bloodseeker, Dazzle, Crobelus etc.), in general, more quicker gameplay like "competitive" scene need and wanted, especially China "competitive" scene.

    The community around the game is snobbish, and arrogant, convinced of their perfection because they play DOTA2. Because it is DOTA - hard and elite, not at all. Far easier than DOTA.
    DOTA+ is a pay-to-play program. Which gives those paying "clients" what they deserve. Backslapping games full of "owning" those players, which aren't so good. To boost their ego. There is no reason to waste time with this crap.
    Until competitive pro-players do not care about fair-play, which they never do, they are only circus apes of Valve.

    Valve bought it to have at least one MOBA game, especially a fanbase that mindlessly adores them, because they make DOTA like they want, which does not mean, how DOTA needs to be.

    Gameplay is farming, sometimes fighting and denying. Boring.

    Valve is printing users of this game by adding it to every library of every user. What a garbage!    … Expand

    I recommend avoid this game. Awful ranked system. No motivation. No rewards. Terrible game for new players. Worst Community ever. Smurf accounts. Boosters every f* game. Hope this game will have died soon...

Terrible community, p2w mechanics in half of custom maps, ppl smurfing to have fun while you can't raise your rating. Basically, its the same as LoL nowadays, just with more toxic mechanics and slower gameplay. Both games have shifted to burst meta, likeOne of the most horrible yet addictive games of them all.     Моя любимая часть. Самая большая и интересная. Боссов больше, чем когда-либо (в 3 их гораздо меньше -- тут их под 40 наберется). Самая сложная (дада, не удивляйтесь!) -- эстус нереально медленный -- и анимация питья и шкала долго восстанавливается. Стамина то же самое -- медленная и очень много тратится. И вообще, игра медленнее предыдущей. Больше всего, я подыхал именно в этой части. Хз,Моя любимая часть. Самая большая и интересная. It is a highly competitive and strategic game to play, it takes a while to master but eventually with the help of my friends I had a good grip on this game faster than I expected.     My first step in Dota isnt easy because it has a complicated game system and many heroes to choose from as in which all those heroes function and operate differently. But after practicing with my friends for a while, I learned how to play at a decent level and understand how each hero performs inside the game.

    This game is truly a masterpiece, their game graphic is smooth and realistic making my gaming experience so remarkable, their sound has beat and rhythm which I really enjoy when playing. Additionally, they have a wide variety of customs and allow us to change the appearance of our favorite heroes, this just makes us feel that we played a role in creating this game

    If you’re looking for a multiplayer and challenging game to play with friends, I would say Dota is the perfect choice for you, you doesn't have to be old enough or young enough to play but just enjoy the game and have fun.    … Expand

    I grew up playing Dota. It was one of the best times of my life when I could achieve first blood or killing sprees. That game is no more. I do NOT want to spend 1 hour of my life per match just waiting to be 1 shotted by someone. I do not recommend this MOBA. I will return to heroes of the storm, hoping she can forgive me.

    Dota 2 this game probably needs no introduction, as it will be hard to find a person who has not heard of it. Dota is a legendary game, the brightness of which blurs the terrible community. Today we played a game with blue, he's a f*****g m*****r. And the game is s***t by the way. It drains money from poor impoverished children in Af*ica kills their nerve cells and unfortunately mothers too.

    The rules keep changing, the patches change the game every time, unbalanced heroes are released frequently, etc. It has so many layers of complexity that boggles the mind, nobody, not even icefrog (the main designer) understand the implications of their changes, so Valve uses their user base to balance things out. The online community is so full of toxic people, smurfs and just grieving people that make the whole matchmaking affair a walk on hell. Valve does little to control this. If you are of the competitive type, chances are that you would find very hard to climb the MMR ladder with all the cheaters and smurfs and just toxic people ruining games every time.    … Expand

    Just saying what you all probably know, there is too weak punishment for players that intentionally ruin games, thus we have many game ruiners, many smurfs and awful gaming experience, 3 games in a row I had total beginners in team vs smurfs, before that I had one guy mid intentionally going 0-10, before that I had afk etc... I wasted my time too much there, no more...

    I don't see why people are giving this game a low rating just for the community. Yes they are really aggressive and that is something that should not dictate a games rating but I think this game is great and its free so why complain if you don't like it no problem its free.

    Второй минус - это сомнительный баланс. Многих героев с переменной частотой смешивают с дерьмом. И самое возмутительное - то, что здесь хорошая игра и победа идут вразрез. Блядская мета с героями, которые выиграют тебе игру если ты их пикнешь. То есть тут побеждает не тот, кто выкладывается на максимум на подходящем герое, а тот, кто взял метового говномеса и делает всё по инструкции, придуманной кем-то совершенно нездоровым.

    Третий минус. Матчмейкинг и не работающая система наказаний. В подборе игр участвует множество негласных переменных. Кроме рейтинга порядочности, о участии которого в подборе гадские разрабы ДО ПОСЛЕДНЕГО скрывали, в игре есть скрытый рейтинг. Тот, по которому подбираются игры в обычном и турбо-режиме, но который ПОЧЕМУ—ТО также учитывается при подборе рейтинговых игр. Сука, да это, блять, гениально! Просто понижаем последний винрейт в не-рейтинговых играх, а потом отбиваем его в рейтинге. Я так с рыцаря до легенды доабузил, правда после такого всё дольше и дольше ищет игру.

    В игре невообразимый для обычного игрока входной порог. Чтобы немножко, на базовом уровне научиться играть в эту игру, нужно провести в ней от 1000 часов чистого времени. И планка постоянно растёт, уровень игры на 5000 ММР в 2014 это примерно 3000 ММР сейчас, в 2018. Вдобавок к этому игра очень жёстко наказывает за ошибки, из-за чего игрок проигрывающей стороны может в итоге до 20 минут за игру (игра - 45 минут) просидеть "в таверне", беспомощно наблюдая как падает его база. А если в начале игры тебя или твоего тиммейта убили пару раз, ты будешь ощущать это на себе ВСЮ ОСТАВШУЮСЯ ИГРУ. А матчи в этой игре длятся в среднем от 20 до 90 минут. И всё это время ты будешь жалеть, что вообще начал.

    Резюмируя всё вышесказанное, Dota 2 — игра с худшими левацкими идеями, перенесёнными в игровые механики. Финальная оценка - 0/10.    … Expand

    After 25 games, I checked my new conduct, and try to guess.
    Yeah, it's 5k. I muted the chat and haven't said a word, but I has been reported.

    They still haven't reached Wc3 parity, they don't talk to the community EVER, there is no ranked ladder at all, the game is full of bugs which have not even attempted to be fixed. They constantly release patches which only contain hats, they don't even pay enough attention to the game to release annual holiday patches. For example they completely forgot about Halloween in Dota 2 whileThey still haven't reached Wc3 parity, they don't talk to the community EVER, there is no ranked ladder at all, the game is full of bugs which have not even attempted to be fixed. Trust me i have broken a dozen mouses and at least 3 keyboards in my playtime) !!!!
    In conclusion Dota is, I would not say GOOD GAME as it is excessively Unfriendly to New Gamers.... But it is a competent Game Nonetheless !!!!

    Consistently the worst game I have played in my life. If you value your relationships, mental health or just want to have fun then DO NOT play this game. It is highly addictive and has literally the most toxic community I have ever met in my life.     I can not do anything. It is a very unfriendly game to Noob. Try it for a long time? I keep dying and not funny. It lacks intuition, the characters are all monsters, and it is also visually insufficient.

    Nice "New" MMR volvo. Nice new events. Nice new heroes. Nice report system. Thanks for killing DOTA, volvo. In 2012 i think that dota 2 will be the best MOBA game in the future, but now it sucks even at HotS. Why Blizzard can do a good ranked system? Why they can do interesting and fair MMR?     And this dichotomy is perhaps the best descriptor I can attach to Dota 2. It is frequently a game which occupies two opposite spaces simultaneously. It is the best game. It is also the worst game. No game has ever made me as miserable as Dota 2 has. But no game has made me feel so consistently rewarded for my time, and as consistently, wonderfully connected to the friends I play it with.
