Nov 13, 2019Funny to play alone or with your partner in crime. Mod support is very good. community is great

Feb 22, 2019A remarkable action platformer, which brings you fun.
Also devs didn't stop, when the game was already solid and brought some new content for even more replayability. -

Aug 29, 2019Great game done by real, hard working people, highly recommended. Also play the classic Doorkickers game if you somehow missed it

Aug 29, 2019Great and original platformer, retro graphics but with a modern gameplay. Lots of fun for such a small game and it even has network and couch cooperative play.
-
Sep 12, 2019It's most fun in coop, has a tactical element to it that I don't think exists in other similar games.

Jun 27, 2020One of the most fun co-op platformers I've played in a long time. Playing alone is fine, but playing Door Kickers: Action Squad with a friend is some of the most hilarious fun I've ever had in a game. The music is great, the humor within the game is very funny, and the art style is great too. Only bummer for me is that it only supports 2 players; a 3 or 4 player mode would be that much better.

Nov 18, 2019One of the best co-op action platformers. Singleplay is amazing too.
Lot of levels, the diversity of play styles.
Mods and fan-made-levels will give additional 5+ hours of end-game activities -
Nov 30, 2018Action Squad is exactly what I imagined it to be: a chaotic side-scrolling little game that one can jump right in with a friend and make something explode. The problem is that not once did it try to exceed that expectation.

Apr 13, 2019It is one of those games that fills a niche genre; being that of an action, co-op side scroller. With that said, if you have a friend who plays action games with you, then yes, it fills that void well. Being a great source of mindlessness and door kicking. But for anyone else, this is not the game for you.

Sep 24, 2018Action Squad also supports local and online co-op so that you and a friend can party up and kick ass. This creates a unique dynamic rather than just playing solo. With a partner, you are able to create new tactics and deal more damage than a single person would. A great combo to try out is the shield and assaulter. The shield can block incoming bullet damage while the assaulter can stand behind them to let off a volley of gunfire. These options in gameplay made it feel exciting and fresh throughout. I never found a dull moment in Door Kickers regardless of the shallow customization.

Sep 23, 2018Door Kickers Action Squad is a great game, but outside of its generous helping of levels, it’s a little light on content. For the price, this is one of the better co-op titles I’ve played, and it offers a unique experience you’re not getting anywhere else. A surprising treat.

Sep 19, 2018Side-scrolling, door-booting, and criminal-annihilating, Door Kickers: Action Squad is sure to fill the “I haven’t blown anything up today” hole that is burning through your chest. With couch and online co-op, you and your partner can blast through terrorist-filled house after drug-lord-filled house together. Just don’t expect anything deeper than east to west shooting.
