    - 6 - 9 hour long.

    -glitches, small map , aim lock need work, long loading time and annoying final boss.

    -creative 2d metroidvania and good lvl design.

    Juego barato para lo que ofrece, 10-15 horas de juego, sin bugs en toda la playthrough. Mapa bastante grande. Buenas mejoras y muchísima mobilidad. El juego es muy único y no trata de copiar a otros metroidvanias. La ambientación es muy buena y la historia se cuenta bien. Todas las habilidades son útiles y aunque al principio parezca tosco, como buen metroidvania acabas yendo de lugar enJuego barato para lo que ofrece, 10-15 horas de juego, sin bugs en toda la playthrough. Mapa bastante grande. Buenas mejoras y muchísima mobilidad. El juego es muy único y no trata de copiar a otros metroidvanias. La ambientación es muy buena y la historia se cuenta bien. Todas las habilidades son útiles y aunque al principio parezca tosco, como buen metroidvania acabas yendo de lugar en lugar volando literalmente, haciendo que el backtracking sea muy ameno. El juego también tiene peaks de dificultad y aunque al principio parezca fácil, como a mitad del juego se vuelve una experiencia desafiante. Las únicas pegas que le tengo al juego son; el tiempo de las pantallas de carga que es larguísimo. Y que cuando mueres no se te guarda aquello que has hecho después de haber cogido el checkpoint.

    As the description of the plot implies, Doomblade is a delightfully grimdark story and world. Every creature and environment is ugly or disturbing in some way, and whenever you get into any serious combat the soundtrack starts blaring out heavy metal music. In a world of pastel-colored indie games the stress how cozy and none-threatening they are, Doomblade is a welcome change of pace.

    DOOMBLADE offers fantastic combat, lore, and art direction which propel it to greatness. Despite progressing and backtracking being confusing and tedious at times, and a few lackluster boss fights, the occasional dullness was alleviated by great music and worldbuilding that spurs intrigue. The devs created a world that I was continuously getting lost in, both literally and figuratively.

    I really hate dunking on a cute, creative Metroidvania like DOOMBLADE, but I feel it just fails to make the game approachable and enjoyable. Much as I wanted to get lost in this dark, humorous world, the core mechanics never got more intuitive or fun, making the entire experience a slog. That said, there’s definitely a great game in here somewhere for those willing to push through the pain to find it.
