It could hardly get 5, and some critics rated it more than 75/100, I'm shocked. It was OK when it just came out because there was no comparison or nearly no comparison. Now it's just non-user-friendly VR-game unlike the Skyrim or Fallout VR. The main problem that distracts you from playing it is bad controls, absolutely awful controls. 4/10 thanks to "meat" during the action and shootingIt could hardly get 5, and some critics rated it more than 75/100, I'm shocked. Best VR game I have played

Just WOW! This game is a proper game and not a tech demo like many other VR games. Arena shooter in VR at it's best! The gunplay is so good and immersive.

Very bad port. This time Bethesda has done it very wrong. Bad graphics and bad controls, nothing more to say. Better than this you can…

Doom VFR is a short but entertaining hellride. But the bloody VR fun lacks the ease and elegance of the original.

VFR does not compromise when it comes to visual beauty, but talking about controls and gameplay, Doom does not really seem fit for VR. We miss the raw feeling and the cockiness of this loved shooter.

As a huge fan of Doom and someone interested in the possibilities of virtual reality, I came away from VFR immensely disappointed. Outside of some nifty moments involving the slo-mo mechanic, VFR just isn’t compelling. The finicky teleporting mechanic hinders movement, the levels don’t accommodate VR well, the protagonist is annoying, and the combat isn’t fun. The biggest selling point for VFR is that it’s a full campaign in virtual reality, but with stiff competition in the genre like Robo Recall and Superhot VR, it’s hard for me to recommend Doom VFR to anyone.
