    I **** love this game, probably the best psychological horror game that i have ever played in my whole life. the characters, the story, the musics are just top notch, it can be both horrifying and cute at the same time.

    Buy. This. ****. Game.

    Very unique story and some really cool mechanics
    Cons: The Game font is too small you can't see it on Switch you have to constantly zoom or have a headache from squinting You have to come to this game fresh if you know anything about this game it would be very enjoyable. The game drags out a lot. You will be skipping a lot of dialogs to get to the good stuff The game has    Pros:

    For what is a technically simple game, this is one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had. It made me experience feelings I never thought possible from a video game.     A good story, but the second walkthrough was a bit boring + I sat on the stage with Monica for an hour and waited for the continuation without getting anything in return.

    This novel is different from the others because it has a horror genre, although it seemed like a game for children. But by the time you get to this horror you will die of nausea.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ngl I wish it was a bit better. The OG game was so creepy since it didn't like appear rapidly like the remake. The jumpscare ain't creepy either. Used to be until it lost its magic. I wish they kept the jumpscare of Monika catching someone recording ya know. And :( makes me sad that it ain't scary anymore...
    Btw didn't the OG contained a mini game when you're with Monika back then when it was free? I remember it so well... Wish that added that to the DDLC+ tbh. Fun times    … Expand

    An overall great expansion for an already lovely game. The virtual machine thing kind of ruins the experience a bit in my opinion, but it is justified due to the addition of some elements like the music player. The side stories are pretty good and the art style is still as good as ever. It can easily be 100%'ed in a weekend.     Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a really smart horror game in disguise. The visual novel plays with your expectations, your knowledge of video games and the standards of the genre. Every player who loves well written stories should give the game a chance, although it starts really slow and you have to click through a lot of very boring dialogue before it really begins. But don’t have any expectations for the additional content in the Plus! version. The prequel chapters are pretty dull and add nothing interesting to the main story.

    Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is capable of eliciting strong feelings. It is not always an enjoyable experience, but it is just that: an experience. When I encounter any work that transcends its medium like this, I take special note of it. I am grateful (for lack of a better word) that Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! came my way, and I strongly encourage fellow visual novel aficionados to join the literature club too.

    Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! shows that the original game has lost none of its power. Those wishing to visit the game again will find its new content deep enough to warrant a replay, and its excellently-told story will still hold weight with newcomers. Go in spoiler free where possible and enjoy its twists and turns.
