    DISTRANT is a little, hidden, gem. It's a story about humanity and it's not an usual horror. In fact you can see blood only a couple of times, there aren't no jumpscares.

    And the story is something wonderful, so "human", so dark.

    Give it a try, it's cheap!

    Another amazing and breathtaking experience from the same developer who made gamers take part in a journey through themselves with Silence of the Sleep. Distraint makes you realize what it is to be a human, to have a soul, conscience and be responsible for your own actions and choices in life.     Let's not beat around the bush on this one: It's bad. It's really clunky, awful and BAD. As a game it's mediocre, trying to be a sort of adventure game with really simple puzzles. As a "horror" game it's dumb as it relies entirely on being loud, although to it's benefit it does not abuse the use of jump scares. As a story is awful. The subject matter could be interesting but it is muddledLet's not beat around the bush on this one: It's bad. It's really clunky, awful and BAD.     Simply not a game, just dull and ugly attempt to grab your money made by 1 man within 3 to 4 hours. Avoid.

    I rated it an 9 because the game could have gone for much longer, just because the atmosphere was so awesome, and the horror bits where truly horrific.

    It's a cute little game with a nice story. It takes less than 2 hours to get through, and it has basically no replay value. I paid about $1 during a Steam sale, and it was worth that price. I would probably be pissed off if I paid $5 for it.

    Buy this game if it's on sale for $2 or less.

    Ein unglaublich packendes Spiel von einem ein Mann Team. Gelungenes Pixel Art, mitreissende Hintergrundsmusik und einige Jump Scares. Props an den Entwickler. Ein Muss für jeden Horrospiele fan.

    Distraint is a short 2D adventure horror game. There isn't much going on here besides the story and I didn't get into it. 16/16 achievements can be had in three hours.

    DISTRAINT is a game with a rich and eloquent plot, which will open up to the players the depravity of the modern world and will try to create a storm of moral conflicts within.

    Хоррор составляющая: "Неожиданная" кровь стекающая со стен и немного другой мистики. На меня сложно нагнать жути графикой, а такой смешной, что в игре - невозможно.
    Какие-то глубинные мысли, всё таки психологический хоррор? Никакой глубины, всё и так понятно. Главный герой - судебный пристав, то есть, например, должен у кого то конфисковать имущество. Только люди, у которых он "забирает дома" малость ТУПЫЕ, и отказываются от нормальных альтернатив жилья. И ГГ ВИНИТ ВО ВСЕХ ГРЕХАХ СЕБЯ И РАБОТУ. Дебил? Дебил.
    Уже додумали о чём игра? Значит вы уже прошли её в своей голове.
    Вернее сыграть в RPG с подобными дилеммами, там погружение лучше, и тупости из-за вариативности куда меньше. Но это моё мнение.    … Expand

    El estilo artístico es muy bonito
    Funciona en casi cualquier PC
    El sonido ambiente esta muy bien.
    El ju yo en los momentos de tensión te mantiene tenso
    Y la historia me ha parecido interesante.

    1. The plot is one pathetic attempt in an unmotivated, unwritten moralization. Perhaps even the worst examples of teenage fanfics are capable of more.

    The game is short, but it still has the ability to be incredible. Seriously, this game deals very well with issues of greed and thirst for power. Despite having a super sad footprint, I just loved it.

    Mükemmel bir hikaye anlatımı, tatlı grafikler, çok kaliteli müzikler ve daha fazlası bu oyunda mevcut. Kesinlikle oyunu almanıza değer. Hikayesine bayıldım..

    It is a nice effort, but it fails on all accounts, as a horror game, story, characters. Everything is caricatural.

    Incrível, um dos melhores jogos de terror que já joguei. História é ótima, ótimos personagens e uma jogabilidade perfeita... Ótimo para o fim de semana se você quer um jogo de terror com puzzles

    Шедевр, и концовка огонь! Не думал, не думал что 2д игра сможет, меня не то что напугать а повергнуть в жуть, и задуматься как это быть с одной стороны а потом с другой, советую к прохождению!

    Considering the atmosphere and the story Distrain is a job well done – instead of ostentatious horror it scares mainly with its realism and spooky normality, wrapped in occasional psychedelia. From time to time I lacked the option to control the game with a mouse and some game mechanics could be more user-friendly. These minor flaws, however, do not change the fact, Distrain is very pleasant experience.
