Disfigure is a top-down shooter in which you fight in an arena full of increasingly grotesque creatures.

Along with ammo for shooting, vision is a limited resource. Conserve it as much as possible by shooting in the dark, or sacrifice the size of your circle of vision to reveal enemies from afar.

Enemies grow increasingly grotesque and disfigured the longer you survive.

Really nice take on the time survival genre. Every weapon feels unique and well deserving of its place in the game. The upgrade trees for allReally nice take on the time survival genre. Every weapon feels unique and well deserving of its place in the game. The upgrade trees for all weapons are well thought about and the weapon exclusive upgrades feel both unique and special for said weapon and a great feature for this type of game. The inclusion of melee option for players is a great way to feel variation in your arsenal which otherwise only would have consisted of various types of guns. It makes the game feel more fleshed out. Another praise I have for the game would be the enemies and environment. Walking around in a musky and dark field full of monsters is a nice change from the usual fantasy like environment you see from other game in the genre like vampire survivors. The ability to change the light around your character is a welcoming touch. Just the option for something like this is a very nice addition and I feel that the two light options (that being a circle around your character and a cone shaped light that goes from the character to the sides becoming larger the further out you look) are great for different players to find what they like best. All things considered it is a nice small game that anyone can sink dozens of hours into and still find enjoyable. And the best thing is that such a great game like this is completely free. I would however highly recommend supporting the developer and purchasing the donation DLC for only 5 euro. The developer definitely deserves it for such a great game. Expand
