Oct 16, 2019Amazing atmosphere, brilliant writing, refreshing and intellegent skill system. Masterpiece.
-
Nov 7, 2019Truthfully I'd rate this game a 7 or 8, but the amount of people rating it a 0 with the justification that this text-based, role playing game has too much text means I have to do my part to signal boost something that's actually different in a world where those same people constantly complain about things being the same.
-
Oct 27, 2019It made me excited for video games again.

Feb 2, 2020Brilliantly written, with wonderful, interesting, and sympathetic characters, a twisting and utterly unexpected plot line, an amazing, beautiful world, and a heaping of art and phil

Dec 12, 2019que se puede decir , un juego excepcional con buena historia y manejo de la misma
-
Jan 15, 2020One of those games that can change your life . The repetition of talking to your "inner selves" takes place in real life after a while. The work that has been done in the dialogue trees is excellent. Adventure - rpg in its finest and in its darkest . The graphics suck tho.. but who cares !
-
Jan 31, 2020Fantastically written game. I love all the branches to explore and possibilities.
-
Apr 4, 2020Startlingly original, intelligent and well executed game. It's David Lynch's Baldur's Gate 2.
Some surprising performance issues, but forgivable in a game of this pace. -

Dec 11, 2022This is a good game. If you like the read books you will enjoy too much in this game. You can choose too many things in this game and it effects everything.

Jan 24, 2020One of the best RPGs I have ever played. I don't need much to say. 26hrs on record.

Jun 30, 2020One of the best games I've ever played. The themes are so somber but the writing is funny and the game is not cynical like a lot of other medias tend to portray this stories. The game is heavy on the texts but thankfully the writing is very enjoyable.

Mar 6, 2020Never gonna play it again. SO MUCH TEXT MY GOD I CANT READ IT ANYMORE OR I WILL DIE!
-
Mar 27, 2022A mediocre isometric point and click quest mixed with a visual novel, filled with terrible and boring graphomania.
-
May 20, 2022The game is a complete disgrace, I can say I hated the game. I have never seen a game as bad as this game in my life, I finished the game and I do not recommend you to download a game I hate, even the worst game I have ever played, I can say that the game really sucks. Do not download, I do not recommend downloading.

Nov 10, 2019Understand, this is not an RPG. This is an adventure game, with skill checks. If you like clicking on everything in the world, and reading a *lot* of honestly pretty dry diatribes about race and politics, then this is the game for you.
-
Oct 2, 2020Dialogs are loooooooong, boring, and confusing. Although the setting is interesting, I culdnt finished, it felt as every quest took too long and I was bored

Dec 8, 2019Great writing, great worldbuilding. Finished this in 3 days. Easily my game of the year 2019.
-
Feb 8, 2022Tons of useless and pretentious paragraphs aimed to impress those who have never read a single book in their life. Luckily for developers, there are plenty around.
-
May 10, 2020It's like playing a game by reading a book. No thanks. Walls and walls of text are not what i'm looking for.

Mar 21, 2020"The" best lovecraft style pure rpg DND/COC like game in industry.
All the pros you can find from a hardcore rpg, great story, meaningful choice, immersive environment, etc are in the game.
But also all the cons which are a lot casual gamer hated, complicated mechanic, long dialog, slow pace and so on.
SO it is a very dedicated targeting game for certain gamer, and they will definitely love it,like us. -

Jul 17, 2020This game have a soul. This is how you make your characters interesting.I love everything in this game.World, characters, dialogue, skill system and of course phasmids.

Dec 9, 2021This is the best thing humanity has ever created. The soundtrack, the story, the characters, the art style, the lore, the atmosphere and even the gameplay is all so well done. Definitely my favorite game of all time.

Nov 10, 2019Gibberish writing masquerading as Pseudo-faux avant-garde pontifical erudisms. Not even an RPG, IMO. Its a graphic adventure/puzzle game

Dec 13, 2019Communist propaganda !!! Everywhere Communism has passed has left a trail of death, it is already over 100 MILLION in a century, more than all the natural disasters added to the plagues planet Earth has witnessed in its history.

Nov 19, 2019Disco Elysium is just another piece of postmodern art. I understand why boomers give it 10/10, it's called a "duckling syndrome". They see something like Planscape torment and think that it's an excellent game. But they are wrong. DE is nothing. Just accept it.
-
Oct 28, 2019Endless text windows (mostly not synchronised) - No real tutorial - completely un-motivating story/plot - no common theme noticeable, therefore no further motivation to move on - really tried it for 3-4 hours - in the end I was relieved quitting it
-
Nov 10, 2019A very strange journey through the human mind and an interesting spin on the isometric RPG genre. You can be insane and talk to visions or just use stone cold logic all packaged into a detective noir storyline, just don't expect any form of combat. One of my favorites this year.

May 10, 2020Waaaay overhyped game. This game is basically a huge wall of text. Full of meaningless, confusing and pseudointellectual text on top of that. If I want to read, I will get a book.
-
Nov 8, 2019boring, pretentious, artsyfartsy, nonsensual indie shill game that getting good reviews based on the fact that its indie game... meh. Visual is boring, story is cliché, gameplay terrible and its scream low budget from all sides... theres a good reason why these low budget indie shill games will never be GOTY nominee

Oct 18, 2019I dislike politics in video games and this game is full of it. We have enough of that crap in real life, keep it away from video games.
-
Oct 27, 2019A self-indulgent point-and-clicker that forces its unsolicited ideology on you every chance it gets. The only real choice you get is when you've had enough...
-

Dec 15, 2019Wow, just another Tides of numenera but with some modern political references.

-
Apr 24, 2021What am I missing here? This just ain't happening for me. Reams of static scenes reading endless streams of dialogue about...who knows what. Moving from place to place and interacting with objects and NPC's an absolute joke.
-
Aug 19, 2021If you like dialogue heavy games and have a testosterone levels and political views of a teenage female, this game is for you.
-
Apr 23, 2021A talkative, extraordinarily lame what-the-hell game where you don't get to see any perspective at all. It seems to make no sense whatsoever.
-
Oct 17, 2019It's just a glorified reading simulator.
The universe is boring and graphics are bad.
If you didn't like Torment: Tides of Numenera, you won't like this one either.
PS: The 10/10 ratings are clearly from the devs themselves. -
Oct 19, 2019It's just a reading simulator. The devs should have at least hire voice actors to voice the endless dialogs. At this state it feels like a book reading and not a game. It burns you pretty fast.
-
Dec 24, 2020The choices are a freaking lie, its fun until it shoves you into situations that cant be solved anyhow and you have to reload your checkpoints like 2 days back to find a way of playing constructively, there is some really nice ideas and game design, but sadly also some of the worst.
-
Nov 14, 2019Boring! The game had so much to hope for. But it didn't live up to expectations. i didn't want an reading sim.
-
Oct 31, 2019Pros: stylish interactive book
Cons:
No gamepad support (constant clicking where you need to go).
Lots of loading screens.
No fast travel + slow moving speed + constant clicking = uncomfortable gameplay. -
Feb 2, 2020its not a game its novel book.
relay boring book!
the dialogs are boring. the story is sily and i saw it 100500 times. its not a "game " that real gamers

Apr 10, 2020A murder mystery set in a rich, fictional setting, Disco Elysium is told with sweeping profundity and hilarious absurdity. With no combat to impede story progression, this is a choice-driven role-playing adventure that deftly raises the bar of quality for the medium.
-
Mar 28, 2020Disco Elysium is a very special RPG that most of your time will be spent on reading. It features a well-written detective story, various tricky skill trees, and memorable characters. This game might be the best one of its kind. But if you can't stand reading for a long time, just don't try it.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 28, 2020Unconventionally conceived adventure game with excellent visuals and world worked out to the smallest detail. But it will satisfy only those of you who are not afraid of the huge amount of English dialogue, because it makes up the vast majority of gameplay. [Issue#299]
