While not completely fleshed out just yet, Disc Jam provides enough fun and enjoyment with a simple concept for the asking price.

Disc Jam is a great and interesting concept that leaves you wanting more. Just as quickly as you gain an affinity for the game, you can also get bored with it once you realized there just isn't a lot to offer. Even with the obvious shallowness, Disc Jam is worth your time.

    It’s alright
Disc Jam debuted for free for the PlayStation plus so it doesn’t hurt to at least give it a try…
It’s fairly impressive considering it was built by a 2 man team, and there’s promises of new maps, modes, and characters in the future…
But right now.. this is really just tennis…
In disc jam you choose one of 4 characters with light customizable options that are unlocked by completing matches and taking your winnings to the prize machine….
You’re looking at about 1 skin or taunt for every 4 wins which isn’t that bad at all…
And the game is actually pretty enjoyable…
As of right now there are 2 competitive modes…
    single and double…
where you can take on one opponent or team up with another to take on another team in what is essentially tennis with a disc.. you slide, catch it, and throw it back…
you can lob it to throw your opponent off which give the disc air time and allows your opponents to charge up for a super throw…
you can also mess with the angles you throw the disc
and in rocket league fashion you’re able to taunt them and get under their skin with quick chat options…
which of course is always my favorite to do…
unfortunately it doesn’t get much deeper than tennis with a disc…
It doesn’t have the thrill of great completive games…
I don’t see it being entertaining for anyone beyond a few hrs
    it’s just sort of alright.
    I give Disc Jam
    a 6/10
