I disagree completely with the other reviewers, for anyone who remembers dialing into BBS systems and reading email on a monochrome monitor this will bring back a wave of nostalgia (love the modem sound!). Throw some hacking and a good AI story (ala William Gibson) into it and you've got a very unique game.

The actual gameplay is just a bunch of mundane hurdles (remember strings of numbers so you can access text bits) and the graphics/presentation only serve to bring you the story. A chatty text game that teaches you nothing, wants nothing, achieves nothing, and costs nothing (except TIME).

Christine Love is a talented writer, but even with the short run time the "gameplay" quickly becomes repetitive and the puzzles aren't anything special. The game is also aggressively linear, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it doesn't fully utilize the interactive nature of the medium. All in all, an interesting and well-written game that serves as a decent way to spend an hour ofChristine Love is a talented writer, but even with the short run time the "gameplay" quickly becomes repetitive and the puzzles aren't anything special.
