    Good game but it is kinda ankward/lazy that you have play basically the same scenarios with both characters... Oh, and Dante > Nero.

    dmc4 is VERY GOOD game! The first part of the game is better than second but 2 part too not Bad, And Nero's ist is very good!

    This game brings back the old cocky and funny Dante after the attempt at rebooting the series failed. You now play as a new protagonist named Nero with his own special abilities. The story mostly revolves around Nero saving his girlfriend and in some missions, you play as Dante as well. There are a ton of boss fights and some are quite challenging which makes the experience even better.This game brings back the old cocky and funny Dante after the attempt at rebooting the series failed.     É meu título favorito da franquia do Devil May Cry, na minha opinião possui a melhor jogabilidade e a melhor otimização em sua versão para PC.
    A história não é uma obra prima, mas em todos os outros aspectos o jogo acerta legal.

    Отлично, браво! Это опять же отличный пример живого и творческого проекта. Всё в игре отлично, однако управление на PC сложноватое.

    La raison principale pour laquelle je ne recommande pas c'est la CAMERA :
    on est sur des plans fixes plus de la moitié du temps mais avec changements d'angles automatiques pendant que l'on se déplace sur la map. On suit le perso tranquillement et pouf, contre-champ, zoom et autres joyeusetés qui combinés avec des environnements exigus, nous font perdre tout repère. Même après plusieurs dizaines d'heures de jeu je me fait encore avoir. On en arrive à des situation ou l'on appuie pour se déplacer en avant, mais le perso se déplace en arrière vers la caméra, en + d'être contre intuitif, on ne voit pas où l'on va.
    Certains combos se font en orientant le stick vers l'avant ou vers l'arrière par rapport à l'ennemi, pas pratique quand on est entouré de plusieurs ennemis sans savoir lequel on vise.
    Autres points négatifs : -Le recyclage des maps
    -Les niveaux de difficultés qui nous obligent à refaire plusieurs fois le jeu (gagner en difficulté suppérieure ne compte pas les difficultés inférieures comme "terminées")
    -Pratiquement pas de changement dans les dialogues et cutscenes lorsque l'on choisit un perso autre que Nero/Dante (persos qui ne sont pas développés non plus, si vous ne les connaissez pas ben tant pis pour vous)
    -Progression des persos très limité

    Malgré ces défauts ça reste assez sympa de taper sur des hordes d'ennemis avec son perso favori, nul doute que cela plaira aux fans de la série, pour les autres, passez votre chemin.    … Expand

    Hack and slash gameplay is on point.
    Very fun.
    The game feels like they run out of budget halfway through the game and decided to copy paste the first half and finish it anyways.

    A great part of the game, the soundtrack has become stunning, bosses, locations, characters, mobs, plot, everything is at the highest level. The villains are not very interesting.

    Nice devil may cry. This new guy nero is a good character for this kind of games but my boy dante still rocks. Combos, weapons, nice graphics, nice soundtrack, fast combat. Good game after all.

    Looks nice, but bad game. Darksiders is better. Lots of really bad design issues. Forces you to finish fast so you can get upgrades. Requires a walkthrough (for absolutely everything), meaning much of my time is spent watching someone else play. Just didn't enjoy it. Found a lot of things to be tedious/annoying, such as the console-style view & things about the secret missions. Makes meLooks nice, but bad game. Darksiders is better.     Не самый лучший и не самый харизматичный Данте, да игра и не про Данте совсем, новый герой, новые локации, новые противники, в целом неплохо, но до уровня 3 части не дотянули.

    One of the best hack'n'slash games that i've ever played. We got here a nice story, with two great protagonists, they, Nero and Dante, both with different combos, in the same scenarios, both of them charismatic and an awesome gameplay with a great variety of enemies plus a great graphic and excellent boss battles. This game is almost a masterpiece. I think that Lady and Trish deservedOne of the best hack'n'slash games that i've ever played. We got here a nice story, with two great protagonists, they, Nero and Dante, both with different combos, in the same scenarios, both of them charismatic and an awesome gameplay with a great variety of enemies plus a great graphic and excellent boss battles. This game is almost a masterpiece. I think that Lady and Trish deserved their own campaing, but that is no a problem when you make an excellent game like this. The port of this game is really great, i had absolutelly any bugs on my gameplay.… Expand

    Devil May Cry 4 may seem interesting at start, but the puzzles and repetitive game play just killed it for me. Nevertheless, graphics is definitely commendable for a game released in 2008.

Ya se a hablado mucho de los escenarios repetitivos a lo largo del juego y como se vuelve tedioso volverlos a pasar. Se nos introduce un nuevo protagonista o Co-Protagonista, llamado Nero, quienEs un juego que mantiene la esencia de la Saga. La personalidad de Dante se mantiene, aunque ahora es un poco más maduro.     I'm not sure how old this game is but I just played some of it. I was very disappointed. The enemy design and A.I. was terrible. The game stops every few seconds with a flyby or animation and it just kills it for me. The map is useless... Half the time you have no idea where to go...     A good and addictive title with a great storyline and characters. It's all about the fighting, but it's ideal if you want to blow off some steam. The boss fight are pretty good, even though most of them are repeated. The port is good and the game is totally playable on keyboard.

    I love the game and the story, and i love this Dante, the way is older and legendary, so great, still in love, and it has an awesome soundtrack, and one of the most epic boss battles i ever seen!

    on PC is great to play it .. but you sometimes stop to enjoy it because of the keyboard but when you add the ps3 controller/other one....than the FUN begins

    I really love this game, still playing till today, Exceeding every demon, having fun being stylish! But there's still some problems, I can't still beat the game with zero damage.

Gameplay is fast, especially with Nero, and while basic enemies are not much of a threat even at higher difficulties, many enemies force the player to learn their strengths and weaknesses and adjust approach accordingly. This is especially important for boss battles, as each boss is different in terms of moveset, overall capabilities as well as feel of the battle. Nero has a Devil Bringer which gives a set of new options and compensates for his limited moveset compared to Dante. While it is possible to go through much of the game simply by button mashing it, this only works up to the Credo boss fight at lover difficulties, and at higher difficulties does not work at all. At Dante Must Die difficulty, enemies gain the Devil Trigger, which makes even game's standard mooks threatening (albeit only when in groups), and forces the player to often cancel out combos in order to evade attacks from the side. Nero also serves as a good introduction to gameplay for new fans, allowing them to adjust before switching to comparably more complex and harder to play Dante.

    There are some problems. Story is not very original, but it is adequate insomuch as it provides an excuse for the game itself, as well as for its primary downside - namely, huge amount of backtracking. When playing as Dante, player is forced to replay all of the levels previously done with the Nero, facing same enemies and same bosses. All bosses except for Sanctus are actually fought three times, which becomes jarring; this is only somewhat compensated for the fact that Dante has to use different tactics compared to Nero to take them down. None of these however are major enough to seriously impact the quality of the game, and Dante's playstyle is different enough that his part of the game does not feel simply as a reprise of Nero's.    … Expand

    DMC 3 is a terrible port and the PC version of DMC 4 runs great and has some extra ♥♥♥♥
    Devil May Cry 4 is a massive showcase of what we could have if we were a better industry.
    The combat system is deep, complex, and is freeform enough at the same time to have the possibility for tournaments. Everything your character can do can link to 90% of everything else he can do.

    A port that doesn't have anything new or interesting for PC gamers. Sure, it's Devil May Cry 4, and by golly, its enhanced high-res visuals sure look swell. But if you're going to port a game to the PC, you should take advantage of the most versatile platform out there. DMC4 fails to do so.

    Its story, while not being complicated or particularly mysterious, remains fun and interesting enough to see you through to the end, which is saying something because it isn't what many would consider to be a short game. What Capcom has produced isn't the pinnacle of console-to-PC quality, but it isn't anything to be laughed at either.

    Devil May Cry 4 may not be a very subtle game, but it sure is a lot of fun. Ripping whole armies of demons to shreds at breathtaking speed or watching a mighty end boss giving kudos to you in "over the top" cut scenes - things like these create that special feeling of power. There are some weak spots like (levels are re-used, a few annoying mini games and riddles), but action fans should give it a go anyway.
