Nov 28, 2022A sci-fi version of Dishonored. And yes, I know Deus Ex predates Dishonored. But it just feels like a worse game.
-
Mar 6, 2022I love the first Deus ex! This game isn't terrible - but **** it's bland! The narrative whilst compelling isn't anything groundbreaking or unique. Also the PC port is kinda rubbish. I've been getting such horrible shutter problems with no available fixes. **** been annoying. I really don't believe that this game is worth playing through. It's a shame because Deus Ex is a great franchise.

Dec 31, 2020Deus Ex is a boring game because there is barely any action in the game. The visuals are terrible. The character models look like they were made in 2009. The cutscenes are in 720p. Almost all the colors in this game are orange and yellow. If you want to play a good first-person stealth game, play one of the Dishonored games.

Jun 14, 2020Plain boring. **** outdated controls. Tedious dialogues. Yet it's STILL 20$. Don't buy this overpriced trash.
-
Jul 26, 2018Not even close to a 90, there are many glaring problems with the gameplay, graphics, writing and setting, but this one is okay.. for a console game. Certainly not the sequel the 2000's series deserves.

Mar 20, 2017Deus EX is my favorite game. Fantastic writing and gameplay.
Pros
+ Storytelling
+ world
Cons
- Dialogue wheel, I prefer to see texts in sentences to select.
- Inventory management for item combination is terrible. -

Nov 20, 2015Story is average at best. The final morale monologue is silly. Action based combat is ok, the sneaky way is super benevolent, guards have like 60degree to see you so you can sneak almost directly in front of them. It gets very fast repetitive. The small city hubs are a joke.
-
Oct 29, 2015Awkward controls and game play. Weakling protagonist creats a lot frustration. Uncommon difficulty setting not favorable to play at early stage. Waste of money and time.

Aug 12, 2013It was a fairly decent game I enjoyed taxing bad guys and shooting gangsters, but when I reloaded the game from a save point the game graphically glitches out I mean you couldn't even see the player in cover that's how bad out it was therefore this game gets a zero

Aug 6, 2013I tried hard to love this game. Deleted and redownloaded again for 4 times in hope I missed something last time. I was not.
Game is just extremely boring with bad voice acting, game mechanic, gameplay and story.
I usually never give 0 to games because people put effort to make it, but in this one couldn't find even 1 good thing. Seems even Steam discount price of 3.75 euro was wasted money -

May 11, 2013Alpha Protocol meets Vampire: Bloodlines, without the bugs, or ambition, of either of them. The result is something usually smooth and playable but never compelling.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Oct 30, 2011There are only a few games this year we suggest to 16-yrs old gamers and their fathers together. Human Revolution for sure is a Game of the Year nominee. [Oct 2011]

Oct 18, 2011So despite the odds being stacked against it, Eidos Montreal accomplished the impossible and brought us a Deus Ex in the true sense of the word, probably the best one that we could have hoped for considering the current "requirements" for being commercially successful nowadays.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 10, 2011A worthy successor to one of the greatest games ever. It offers a lot of choice on many levels and feels like an RPG from years past - in a very good way. One of the best, if not the best game of 2011. [Oct 2011]
