Nov 6, 2018While I think I prefer Undertale and Deltarune takes a while to really get rolling, I ended up really, really loving this game. I'm eager to see what future chapters (or what complete game) Toby Fox unleashes in the future for this game.

Jan 15, 2019it is too good too play this game free so i love it and i like his BGM the joker.

Feb 17, 2019This game is almost as great a masterpiece as Undertale, the characters are the most likeable people of planet earth, and factors that made Undertale so good have been transported into Deltarune, such as the music, the characters, the new and improved combat style.

Jul 10, 2020The game is seriously beautiful, I recommend it to everyone, but first, please play Undertale because the story is very connected, it is already Undertale's second game. The battle screen is better than Undertale.

Jul 8, 2019Not Quite Undertale, But....
Deltarune is still extremely well done and satisfying so if you love Undertale, You’ll definitely enjoy the hell out of this game. -
Nov 11, 2018Very wonderful experience. The fighting mechanic is even better than the one from Undertale. And story is pretty cool for 2 hours long chapter.

Nov 25, 2018Pretty good characters,a step up from Undertale in terms of sprites, you can actually see the enemies coming toward you in this game not like Undertale where enemies randomly appear.
-
Nov 27, 2018Deltarune is a absolutely wonderful game, just wonderful . All of the encounters with lancer, lancer is just so cute.
-
Dec 9, 2018The fanbase ruined Undertale.
I REALLY hope it doesn't ruin this too, this singular chapter didn't have everything, but there's SO much potential here for future chapters.
The battle system has been improved, I love the characters, and the OST is just amazing. -
Dec 20, 2018While not nearly as good as Undertale, its still a very enjoyable adventure by genius game creator Toby Fox.
-
Dec 9, 2021Although they share elements, Deltarune is a different game from Undertale. It is truly a new experience worth playing through.

Apr 1, 2019Fun game and really good music. Has the charm of UNDERTALE, yet changed the battle system enough to help it feel fresh. Excited to get my hands on the final full game and be able to see what Tobyfox has in store for us.

CD-ActionNov 14, 2019While Undertale is great both as a comedy and a tragedy, Deltarune is good for some laughs but – so far – doesn’t move players otherwise. [13/2018, p.48]

Nov 1, 2018It may not be the near-perfect masterpiece I consider Undertale to be, but it successfully holds onto much of what made the first game great while making adjustments and finding its own place as well.
