A solid fast-paced platformer starring a robot with the desire to get home. Use gravity to overcome obstacles and experience a journey unique among its kind.

Defunct's way of conveying the sense of motion and fluidity works great with the control and management of the robot's position. However, its simplicity and strange objective design can present some drawbacks.

Defunct combines speed and exploration in a package that’s simplistic but engaging. The gravity functions lack a variety of uses but they’re necessary in nearly every situation, and there’s so many ways to engage with the game the way you want. It doesn’t have all of its screws tightened, but what’s there is packed with replay value.

Mechanics, graphics, everything is ok.

Нормальная гоночная игра, где надо просто проехать из точки а в точку б, преодолевая небольшие препятствия, попутно собирая бонусы, с закосом под мультик Валли. Механики, графика, всё сделано норм.

He falls from the spaceship he was travelling in, and has to reach the place where it lands. Thankfully he has a Gravitize engine, that lets him accelerate in downhill. Also thankfully the planet he falls on has a lot of hills. In addition to this the world is full of different speed boosts such as Enerjuice, which you can pick up and use to go faster.

Personally, I saw this in SGDQ, loved the speed and bought it mid run. From what I picked up, the developers are in close contact with the speed runners. They are fans of speed running themselves, testing speed running the game while developing it and developing it with speed running in mind.
