Jul 17, 2018Laging Simulator 2050.
Much worse than Defiance classic.
It can be enjoyable game if not Trion who do not give a shtaco on fixing net-code of this game.
Unfortunately this game is murdered, killed by its own Developers. -
Aug 24, 2018This game is complete trash, Played since closed beta. Trion has dropped the ball big time. It is literally just a re skin of an old game, which by the way is great. The re skin is just used to entice new and old players to replay and buy things all over again. I would give this game negative points if possible.

Dec 9, 2019Same bugs, same quests, same map, same game as legacy Defiance, with a little changes... This game is a shame!

Jul 17, 2018Another MMO with heaps of potential, Defiance 2050 feels like a game that is still in development. A good story, but poor visuals and gameplay stop you from enjoying it. Yet another rushed online shooter.
-
Feb 17, 2020it's the same exact game, just changed the name, gameplay is clunky, laggy and repetitive. didn't change anything at all. don't download it, dont try it, waste of time.

CD-ActionNov 14, 2019Five years after original launch the developers publish the same game, adding new microtransactions and cutting content. Defiance 2050 is an example of business practices that should be firmly defied. [13/2018, p.87]

Jul 27, 2018The introduction of classes, along with the reworking of the skill and weapon systems makes the game accessible to players of other modern shooters, but the lack of new content and the decision to not port over existing characters gives veterans little incentive to leave their old world behind.

Jul 27, 2018Yes, there is a definite cash-grab feeling in Defiance 2050, but there is also plenty of game to explore, and it won’t require the player to drop hundreds just to get there. The large open world, vast number of quests, and skill trees with a decent set of options gives players plenty to do. The co-operative nature of Defiance 2050 encourages teamwork, and while some parts feel repetitive in terms of quest content, overall it makes a pretty good entry as a free-to-play title.
