    I'm not a big fan of Marvel so I didn't know Deadpool until this game came out.
    The trailers actually reflect the whole game, not just a part, so I'm glad I let 'em persuade me in playing this :)
    If you use a keyboard, controls are not that comfortable to use, especially during combat scenes; I believe this is not a problem on consoles or if you have a nice joypad. And I experienced    I'm not a big fan of Marvel so I didn't know Deadpool until this game came out.

    And I experienced frame drops whenever the game had to load new areas a bit heavier than normal, perhaps my PC's fault.
    These things apart, the game is pretty funny Deadpool has a fun personality that gives a huge boost to the game, surely it would have got a lower score without him and his jokes.

    In all honesty, I suggest you to wait some price drop if you want to play this title. But then you'll surely have a bunch of good laughs     … Expand

    This game isnt like any other super hero game it adds in so much humor and a movie style gameplay that will have you laughing the whole time youre playing

    People usually forget that a game, to be good, must be FUN to play. And deadpool is exactly this: a fun yet awesome experience. I almost died by laughter. Yes, the gamplay is pretty straightforward and level design is really linear, but for this game it doesn't matter. It's well done, well balanced, full of jokes and yet, when you win, it feels rewarding. The only reason i give a 9 (andPeople usually forget that a game, to be good, must be FUN to play. It's well done, well balanced, full of jokes and yet, when you win, it feels rewarding. The only reason i give a 9 (and not a 10) is the fact that it's quite short (campaign took me only 7 hours). I wouldn't probably advise buy it at full price, but the 12.5 euros spent on steam (-75% ^_^ steam sale was totally worth it.     I really can't understand critics and players who give this game bad reviews. In my humble opinion game is great, funny with lot of action. Gameplay is awesome but quite short. I'm sure I will come back and play again and again...

    gráficos não são bons, a jogabilidade é +/-. A história é fraca e muito chata, a única coisa boa são os comentários do DeadPool. É um jogo pra se zerar só uma vez e tentar passar pra frente.

    Pros -combat mode is cool, can switch from using you're pistol to using you're sword and back to the pistol. -Wall jumping is easy like it should be, controls and feels are exactly what they should be.     Maybe more negatives than positives but the game is alright. I give it a 8/10
    Some things I just wanna add:
    The gore is right where it should be, love how I can walk in on a group and do a roundhouse sword swipe (what I call one of the special ability attacks) and blood goes everywhere along with guts and some brains. I just enjoyed the level called the last chance, falling to you're death along with an enemy with powerful powers and at the bottom you both accidentally become part of a couple of stakes in the ground.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I gotta say, I love Deadpool as a character. Spot on in terms of humor and overall likeness to the character. The gameplay however, is very reminiscent of X-Men: Wolverine a few years ago and just like the movie based on the game, it isn't a good thing for Deadpool.

    On a technical level, Deadpool isn't anything great. There were numerous times where the game completely crashed on me without any sort of error message. Subsequent patches have done nothing to resolve this issue for me. Graphics are on par with a lot of hack and slashers, with little to no color except greens and grays. You'll find yourself running around in sewers, pipes and forest-y type locations.

    The story is pretty bland (even Deadpool mentions this numerous times). Bad guy has clones, you kill clones and find bad guy. Pretty much all there is to that.

    X-Men favorites Wolverine and Rogue show up and when they do, they light up the screen. Cable is a big part of the story and becomes a teammate of sorts, but it seems like the writers wasted a good opportunity to couple Deadpool up with someone a little more interesting. I would have far preferred to see Deadpool team up with Wolverine taking Cable's place.

    The game really shines with its humor. Deadpool comes alive magnificently on the screen with his insane persona. His witty dialogue with his inner monologue(s) act as a narration for the player, thus keeping you interested even when the gameplay doesn't. The jokes may seem crude to some gamers but it's likely they wouldn't find interested in a "Deadpool" game anyway. There's lots of fan service to the comic book crowd as there are numerous references to characters inside that universe.

    This leads me to the not so great part: the gameplay. The gameplay is a huge letdown for such an excellent script. You have 4 different types of attacks: weak/stong melee, guns, and thrown explosives. Different types of enemies call for different approaches. Running into a room full of guys with guns will surely get you killed. It's also worth mentioning that there is no recovery time for Deadpool, so if you're getting hit by more than one guy, you'll register a massive amount of damage very quickly before you can hit your short range teleporter out of there. This personally killed me numerous times in the later levels. For such a skilled fighter, it's unbelievable that Deadpool's greatest defensive tactic is running around in a circle until your health regenerates. You can counter at certain moments for melee enemies but there is no regular dodge or block button. The teleport is supposed to act as this, but it can get very disorienting from using it all the time.

    Progression is limited to increasing damage on three melee weapons and a few guns. Upgrades also include unlocking moves for you "Momentum", a special ability you can use through combos. And....that's about as deep the system goes. It's a hack and slash, so it's half expected. However, having a system that unlocks combos for melee attack (a la "Devil May Cry") could have broken up the monotony that is the fighting system.

    Deadpool is by no means a terrible game. It is a game however that has its flaws and takes away from the excellent writing. A deeper combat system and character progression would have made this game a classic for years to come. Instead, we can only hope that High Moon learns from this for their next games.    … Expand

    Bad News: The game play is ok. It has no replay value. The game depends on you being familiar with X-men Universe for most of the jokes
    Good News There are few games that get me to laugh as much as Deadpool has. If you're a deadpool fan they nailed it. Its great when a Dev obviously had a fun while they made this game.

    A Good game. Bottom line if you don't like repetitious hack and slash 3D games with a lot of gore, violence, and dark humor, then pass on it. Myself I do like all those things so it was very enjoyable. I've gotten about half way through the game so far. I give it a few marks down for being repetitious but otherwise a great game. I don't see why there are negative reviews of this gameA Good game. Bottom line if you don't like repetitious hack and slash 3D games with a lot of gore, violence, and dark humor, then pass on it.     One of the most funny game, that i play. Deadpool is only one hero, who knows that he is in comic book (game). His schizophrenia, mutagen X from Wolverine, his friends and specific humor make this game so excellent. Soemtimes camera crashed and you cant see, where you fight or jump. But the others? Marvel best game.

    One of the most underrated games... despite it's old graphics and generic gameplay you can still have fun with funniest jokes and the 4th wall breaking

    Good game. From the outset, the fun begins. And for what Deadpool so cheerful and funny joker, then I put 7/10. But once you get to the middle, starts full bore. All will be trite, shooting, killing, action. But it is good that the developers though gunfights added a bit of fun :)

    I expected so much from this game. yes Deadpool is funny, but it's not a fun game at all. The combat system is boring and I find myself struggling to advance in the missions, just to hear the next good joke in the cut-scenes.

    I am a big fan of deadpool and this game managed to capture his personality with arkham style combat flow system. But only buy if you are a fan of the comics otherwise warning

    this game is so good hitting sense game. and has so funy storyline. but latter part is a little boring repetitive enemy. and i don't understand how the end is.

    I will be the first to admit that I was not that familiar with Deadpool. But having played this game and seeing the movie I have grown to like the Merc with the Mouth. I bought the game to prime myself for the movie and I wasn't disappointed.

    The game is a action game that offers sword and gunplay. The execution works for the most part. Though your teleport is mapped to the same button    I will be the first to admit that I was not that familiar with Deadpool. But having played this game and seeing the movie I have grown to like the Merc with the Mouth. I bought the game to prime myself for the movie and I wasn't disappointed.

    The game is a action game that offers sword and gunplay. The execution works for the most part. Though your teleport is mapped to the same button as another one of your moves which can lead to an occaassional bit of frustration. The levels and enemy variety themselves don't really stand out. Enemy types are repeated frequently. This might have been more repetitive if not for the clever writing and excellent voice talent. Nolan North plays Deadpool in what is one of the best depictions of a comic book hero to date. The game pokes fun at other Marvel properties as well as games themselves.

    Over the course of the game you earn Deadpool points or (DP) which can be spent to unlock upgrades and new weapons. "Its progression..its important in video games." Most of these weapons unfortunately don't feel that different enough. I played through most of the game by upgrading just the default pistols and katanas.

    The game itself is short and I completed it in about 7 hours over the opening weekend of the Deadpool movie. If you are a fan of Deadpool you will likely find the humor enough to have an enjoyable experience. If you aren't a deadpool fan or even if you are I recommend waiting for a steam sale. I picked it up for half off and felt that the game delivered a fun if brief experience for $20.

    This is the perfect Deadpool game, true to the character from the comics and not pulling punches. Good, fun gameplay, hilarious humor and decent graphics. If you like deadpool you'll love the game. The critics are way too harsh on this one or misunderstood it. High Moon Studios did a good job on this one and it's enjoyable to hear them joke about themselves too in the game. Well worth it's price.

    This game is crazy, mad, loony! Plot is fun, abstract, unpredictable. Everything is unpredictable! You never know what crazy thing can happen in next room (8 bit 2d game, imagined party with hot chicks). I adore levels design based on comic books art style. Loads of fun for mature players ;).

    Okay game, here comes pros and cons

    pros:
    Nolan North does an excellent work as deadpool
    Constant humor to keep you going
    Cool upgrades
    Fourth wall breakers
    Deadpool's voices in his head are also funny

    Cons:
    Gameplay gets too repetitive

    Buy if you want to, although i say buy.

    - Simple combat and game mechanics

    - Great graphics and voice actor

    - If you need to relive your stress by playing a combat game with simple funny story and simple combat with no brain needed the tis game is perfect for you

    Deadpool's pretty fun. I've played worse licensed games and Deadpool comes across as a competent third-person shooter/hack and slash game. It's no Devil May Cry, but its not as shallow as say, the Ghost Rider game. The levels are straightforward, but the fights are frantic and the humor is suitably off-color. Im happy to see it return to Steam after being absent for some time.

    Всё начиналось неплохо и задало оптимистичный настрой. Но чем дальше, тем сильнее сливается игра. В самом конце вообще начинается бессмысленный ад.

    This game will make you laugh from start to finish! You could say that this is a comedic game, a super rare genre, because everything in this game was made for a joke. Achievement? You get one for pressing start, Fighting? Deadpool at every move, Story? Is being created as you progress the game since the "budget" is ends during the game, Characters?     This game is very fun to play, many combos to do and a good amount of violence, the humor is great, some funny 4th wall breaks and easter eggs, it's a pretty good game

    I have a lot of fun, when Deadpool crushed fourth wall, when he talkin' with the player - about script, cameras, enemies, comics. BRING THE NOOOOOISE!

    game is very crazy and difficult, cool too and that often the protagonist breaks the 4th wall. cool combos, good gameplay and lots of blood

    One of my childhood games that i feel aged like fine brewed piss... Jokes are still on point its f*cking deadpool you don't expect any less from him but him alone doesn't make a game good.

    A generic action game that can be really funny at times (if boob jokes are your type if humour) and has some enjoyable moments. If you’re a Deadpool fan and you find this game at a discount price or borrow it from a friend, I will not discourage you form playing it. Otherwise – meh. [CD-Action 09/2013, p.52]

    Deadpool is like a crappy moonshine. It may lighten your mood for a while, but you can’t shake the gross aftertaste. And when the ending comes, you will be left with an equivalent of a bad hangover – just a couple of funny jokes plus a few severed heads.
