    It portrays Deadpool well and can show something new to laugh at every moment, but at the end of the game, the gameplay is not fun and it drops. It gets a good score.

    game is very crazy and difficult, cool too and that often the protagonist breaks the 4th wall. cool combos, good gameplay and lots of blood

    I have a lot of fun, when Deadpool crushed fourth wall, when he talkin' with the player - about script, cameras, enemies, comics. BRING THE NOOOOOISE!
    Upset only that the game is short

    Incredibly funny game!!
    This game will make you laugh from start to finish! You could say that this is a comedic game, a super rare genre, because everything in this game was made for a joke. Achievement? You get one for pressing start, Fighting? Deadpool at every move, Story? Is being created as you progress the game since the "budget" is ends during the game, Characters?     The story is hilarious and will make you laugh all the way through, the Deadpool character carries this game easily on his back, you will never get tired of him talking trash of making fun of game's tropes.
    The fighting bits can be a little stale at times for a few variety of weapons but very few variety of enemies.    … Expand

    This is the perfect Deadpool game, true to the character from the comics and not pulling punches. Good, fun gameplay, hilarious humor and decent graphics. If you like deadpool you'll love the game. The critics are way too harsh on this one or misunderstood it. High Moon Studios did a good job on this one and it's enjoyable to hear them joke about themselves too in the game. Well worth it's price.

    This game is crazy, mad, loony! Plot is fun, abstract, unpredictable. Everything is unpredictable! You never know what crazy thing can happen in next room (8 bit 2d game, imagined party with hot chicks). I adore levels design based on comic books art style. Loads of fun for mature players ;).

    Firstly, the game plays smooth, no issues as far as I could tell graphical or gameplay wise. Secondly, this is more a console port than a pc port.

    Pros -combat mode is cool, can switch from using you're pistol to using you're sword and back to the pistol. -Wall jumping is easy like it should be, controls and feels are exactly what they should be.     Maybe more negatives than positives but the game is alright. I give it a 8/10
    Some things I just wanna add:
    The gore is right where it should be, love how I can walk in on a group and do a roundhouse sword swipe (what I call one of the special ability attacks) and blood goes everywhere along with guts and some brains. I just enjoyed the level called the last chance, falling to you're death along with an enemy with powerful powers and at the bottom you both accidentally become part of a couple of stakes in the ground.    … Expand

    One of the most funny game, that i play. Deadpool is only one hero, who knows that he is in comic book (game). His schizophrenia, mutagen X from Wolverine, his friends and specific humor make this game so excellent. Soemtimes camera crashed and you cant see, where you fight or jump. But the others? Marvel best game.

    This game made me fall in love with Deadpool. ABSOLUTELY worth the rent! (I never buy single player games.)

    Hilarious, incredibly fun - the only thing that took some getting used to were the quirks when it came to controls, but just like anything, you get used to them. And wow did I kick ass by the time I sent the game back. AMAZING. Play this if you have any interest in Deadpool whatsoever.

    I am a big fan of deadpool and this game managed to capture his personality with arkham style combat flow system. But only buy if you are a fan of the comics otherwise warning

    After playing Deadpool for hours I would say, Deadpool is one of the best superher-/antihero-games I have ever played.
    There are many funny jokes und and the story is great, too.
    Graphics and Sound is also acceptable.

    I know the game has been out a while but I just played it for the first time tonight. It's a riot! I appreciate the adult humor. Storyline is "ok", I was surprised to see other Marvel characters in this game. I got it for free & the sad part is it's a lot better then some of the newer games I've been playing lately that I did buy. The upgrade system is pretty standard I think which is aI know the game has been out a while but I just played it for the first time tonight. It's a riot! I appreciate the adult humor. Storyline is "ok", I was surprised to see other Marvel characters in this game. I got it for free & the sad part is it's a lot better then some of the newer games I've been playing lately that I did buy. The upgrade system is pretty standard I think which is a good thing.     I really can't understand critics and players who give this game bad reviews. In my humble opinion game is great, funny with lot of action. Gameplay is awesome but quite short. I'm sure I will come back and play again and again...

    The critics are so far off the mark on this game its not funny. Luckily the game is. If you are bored of the same old fare this game breathes fresh fun into a stale genre (like Bulletstorm did for FPS now that I think about it).
    Played this game all the way to the end which is rare for me (LARGE pile of shame).

    A Good game. Bottom line if you don't like repetitious hack and slash 3D games with a lot of gore, violence, and dark humor, then pass on it. Myself I do like all those things so it was very enjoyable. I've gotten about half way through the game so far. I give it a few marks down for being repetitious but otherwise a great game. I don't see why there are negative reviews of this gameA Good game. Bottom line if you don't like repetitious hack and slash 3D games with a lot of gore, violence, and dark humor, then pass on it.     Developpers deserves a 10 and Activision a 0. This game was potentially one of the best marvel game but Activision cut ressources and reduces developpement time. It was the worst crunch time of 2013.
    But even if the player need 8 hours to finish the game in normal mode. The game worth the trip, hilarious with this extravagant deadpool with normal mechanisms of a beat them all.
    Only    Developpers deserves a 10 and Activision a 0. This game was potentially one of the best marvel game but Activision cut ressources and reduces developpement time. It was the worst crunch time of 2013.

    Only unfinished level design, the short campaign and some bugs in IA (sometimes enemies are stuck in decor) are bad points.

    Bad News: The game play is ok. It has no replay value. The game depends on you being familiar with X-men Universe for most of the jokes
    Good News There are few games that get me to laugh as much as Deadpool has. If you're a deadpool fan they nailed it. Its great when a Dev obviously had a fun while they made this game.

    I've never read a Deadpool comic or better yet even appreciated the guy. But looking at a few clips I knew I would like this game. Bought the game, and wow, this is non stop action and down right hilarious. Every gut scene I always find myself laughing at how freakin' hysterical and awesome Deadpool is portrayed in this game. I will definitely be borrowing some Deadpool comics from myI've never read a Deadpool comic or better yet even appreciated the guy. But looking at a few clips I knew I would like this game. Bought the game, and wow, this is non stop action and down right hilarious. Every gut scene I always find myself laughing at how freakin' hysterical and awesome Deadpool is portrayed in this game. I will definitely be borrowing some Deadpool comics from my friend soon.

    Gameplay works very well, reminds me of Batman combat system but otherwise it is still extremely fun and some of the combos and moves can be really quite interesting.

    P.S.
    I recommend using a controller for this game, definitely a good feel and much more easier than the keyboard and mouse. Don't really feel is was a good port.    … Expand

    I'll keep this short. While the game is not perfect or groundbreaking in many ways... it's about as entertaining as they come. And that's what gaming is all about.

    They nailed the Deadpool persona and it's a blast to experience. I couldn't help but keep playing to see what was going to happen next. It's also the hardest game I've ever played (on the hardest setting) which literally    I'll keep this short. While the game is not perfect or groundbreaking in many ways... it's about as entertaining as they come. And that's what gaming is all about.

    It's also the hardest game I've ever played (on the hardest setting) which literally had me screaming obscenities through my house at times... which makes it a great challenge for any gaming masochists out there.    … Expand

    People usually forget that a game, to be good, must be FUN to play. And deadpool is exactly this: a fun yet awesome experience. I almost died by laughter. Yes, the gamplay is pretty straightforward and level design is really linear, but for this game it doesn't matter. It's well done, well balanced, full of jokes and yet, when you win, it feels rewarding. The only reason i give a 9 (andPeople usually forget that a game, to be good, must be FUN to play. Yes, the gamplay is pretty straightforward and level design is really linear, but for this game it doesn't matter. It's well done, well balanced, full of jokes and yet, when you win, it feels rewarding. The only reason i give a 9 (and not a 10) is the fact that it's quite short (campaign took me only 7 hours). I wouldn't probably advise buy it at full price, but the 12.5 euros spent on steam (-75% ^_^ steam sale was totally worth it.     This game is so freaking HILARIOUS, I love it, my only concern is that I'm half of the game in a day, and maybe about hard mode, it's so hard it's frustrating sometimes, but an overall good game, bloody, dirty mouth and funny as hell, I LOVE IT

    The game Deadpool is extremely funny. Some players may find some things to be offense, just a heads up. Deadpool is a great mix of funny jokes, action packed scenes and great voice acting. There are some negative aspects to this game. One, after a few levels the game does get linear and start to become dull.     A generic action game that can be really funny at times (if boob jokes are your type if humour) and has some enjoyable moments. If you’re a Deadpool fan and you find this game at a discount price or borrow it from a friend, I will not discourage you form playing it. Otherwise – meh. [CD-Action 09/2013, p.52]

    Deadpool is like a crappy moonshine. It may lighten your mood for a while, but you can’t shake the gross aftertaste. And when the ending comes, you will be left with an equivalent of a bad hangover – just a couple of funny jokes plus a few severed heads.
