    Great game, but a bit lacking in terms of fanservice compared to previous entries. Can't wait for Dead or Alive Extreme 4 with VR on PC for the obvious mods everyone should be using. Not sure why people even care about the expensive costumes, it's not even required to play and you get an initial roster of over twenty characters to play with. Only drawback is the unpredictable AI. And you all know DOA6LR is coming on PS5 which make those who bought their DLCs a joke. And even the fan favorite Momiji has been dropped (or DLC?).     I swear if they didn't release a free to play version, I would have never played it based on the reviews. Even though DOA5 was good, with the direction their dlc was headed I was almost convinced by reviews about this game. It's game play is amazing, some of the best and most frustrating at times fighting I've played in a while. Graphics are up there as well.     An excellent fighting game, it has a very pleasant and fast combat system, the characters have an interesting story, in the game there are amazing characters who have joined the series, such as Tamaki from Dead or Alive venus vacation, I hope that in the future the game will be developed further and will add other characters from the entire series of games.

    This game is the best! Really. I know what I am talking about, I use to run Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct websites back in the 90s. This game is being attacked by a certain group of SJWs that think the game is too revealing and exploitative of women. And even without this going on the game is easily a 9.5/10 but dealing with this attack shoots the score above and beyond for staying true to the fans!     this game is a disappointing sequel:
    - no tag mode
    - a bad costume unlocking system
    - very expensive season pass
    - first day dlc
    - reduced breasts
    - less sexy suits
    - The two new characters are boring.

    DOA 6 brings back the well balanced fighting mechanics we've been playing for years, with some cool enhancements to keep it fresh.

    DOA is back ! Game is great ! The ultimate ability really ads a new layer of depth, gameplay is great and leave space for skill plays. The new quest mode is a real treat where you can learn and have fun at the same time. Outfits are unlockables which is like the old days.

    DoA 6 in a nutshell:

    While it retains its user friendly gameplay, the continuation of its nonsensical story and the characters' plastic looking faces with excessive sweat and lip gloss are not giving it any favors.

    And while you may say "people don't play fighting games cuz of their story" Netherealm Studios might want to tell you something about that statement.

    +Fun game, looks great.
    +More focus on the neutral game.
    +Plenty of **** n' ass for us men of culture.

    -No tag battle, no lobbies at launch.
    -Game is hefty expensive and Season Pass is a freaking joke. Luckily you can buy chars individually.
    -Story mode is whateva. Fighting game story modes are dead.

    Huge ripoff. It has input lag issues, horrible online play, weak single player content, arcade mode is bad, story mode is bad and costume unlocks system is horrible. Day 1 dlc practices galore. Screw this game.

    One of the best fighting games out there. The game is not "censored" and the DLC when actually examined is a good deal if you plan on getting all of the items. When lobbies are patched in this game will be a strong 90-95.

    A very well done fighting game, plagued with early lauch issues.
    Developers keep patching up the game two to three times a month, so it can be expected said issues are gone soon.

    Free version with 4 characters and many missions. Bought the game. Awesome gameplay and character and comands/moves just like every DOA games. Easy to play after playing other titles, I love it being consistent to the franchise itself.

    I have not played the previous parts, and I can not compare. I really liked this game: a variety of heroes and fighting styles. The fights are made very realistic. The most voluminous training system I've ever seen. Beautiful girls ^^

    Dead or Alive 6 is a perfect addition to the 3D roster of fighters. Next to Tekken and Soul Calibur you now have three separate identities in the FGC that feel like complete tournament level fighting games. This is the first time DOA6 has competed like that and is showing up at big tournaments for the first time at CEO. I appreciate the graphics a lot and love the fluid animations andDead or Alive 6 is a perfect addition to the 3D roster of fighters.     -99% of the moves are the same as the ones in previous installments. The game characters use the exact same moves and animations since DOA2. They didn't add much really, actually maybe nothing at all.
    -Adding a stupid blue bar that lets you do break holds is hardly a game changer. -Removing of Tag mode. -No lobbies. -The costume    Legitimate reasons why this game is an absolute zero.

    -The costume grind is insane, even with that 100x point awards promo that will last two weeks.
    -The costumes you can unlock are all the vanilla costumes from previous installments with many color variants. So if you want that black leather Kasumi outfit which is 1000 points, be prepared to play for an indefinite amount of time. You have to earn points towards every costume which are awarded randomly. This is an obvious attempt at frustrating the players so later they can spend money and skip the most maddening grind I've seen in my 32 years of playing games.
    -Less character victory poses and less intros.
    -DLC characters are DLC characters from DOA5. This is insulting and should not be supported.

    There are many other reasons this game is a sham, but I don't wanna write all of them. To sum it up this game is basically a copy paste from DOA5. That is unacceptable, even COD has more changes per installment, way more, and that seriously says something.

    Do they think that this suite is a pure marvel, that you have to spend more than 100€ (not counting the additions) to satisfy the players?
    No, of course not... they have a policy of earning money... which is a great pity.

    Man this game is good!I can't believe I'm saying this because I played so much Tekken and hated the DOA series for the longest,but wow it's really turned around for competitive players!Looks great and the roster is huge for the start of the game

    Short: A featureless, premature release. I will not go into all the software bugs I encountered, but there are currently issues when using an AMD set up. My NVIDIA set up had less problems, and could run the game with little to no tweaking from me. The AMD set up encountered crashes when triggering certain bugs on stages. No ultra wide support.     No ultra wide support.

    No full screen support, there is a setting but the software isn't exactly full screen and will not take performance advantages of full screen.

    The game was rushed out for eSporting, which explains why the stages feel less like a DOA game, and everyone just thought I was playing Tekken. There was one stage "Forbidden Fortune" that felt the incredibly solid as a DOA stage, but the others felt lacking. Gone was the RPS system from the previous game. I loved that integration with stages, so I am sad to see it go.

    There is a story mode...skip.

    There is a "quest" mode, which is just do three chores in a fight or series of fights. Boring.

    The unlocking system... You have to play to earn points to unlock a costume, then earn in game currency to unlock the unlocked costume. Once you purchased the unlocked costume, that you finally unlocked; you may now use it... It seems like they either forgot to add a real money transaction, or deleted it from the game and left the atrociously convoluted and bloated system in place.

    Tag matches are gone, I will admit it was my favorite feature so there is so much salt for me to give. Normally, I play DOA local with groups, so having tag matches along with singles gave hours of entertainment. That said with Tag gone, there is even less reasons for me to stay with 6.

    I am not a fan of the new 'break' system. I feel that the repeated combo and the break counter are unnecessary. Instead of building on the 5th game break system they derailed it

    I won't even get into the balancing. DOA was never a "balanced" fighter, and when playing it with groups we all enjoyed it for the fun that it was.

    *I do not play fighting games online, I stay local, so I will not cover this.

    It seems like Team Ninja really wants this game to be excepted and a competitive experience, but I just want DOA. I will revisit the game if they add more destructive and exciting stages, and a tag mode. Forty hours is enough for me.    … Expand

    Don't supported Phenom II Processor. ONLY SSE 4.1 / 4.2 instructions suported (there is no information in steam)
    Other games like Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6 work without a problem.... disgrace KOEI TECMO.

    Bought it for sexualized characters of course, but the underage female characters are just super cringeworthy it should be removed! But other than that the action is smooth & sublime; even more so than Tekken 7.

    It was bad enough but the makers of DOA self censor themselves for the sake of outrage culture. But the egregious microtransactions and ridiculous grind in this game make this again I could not recommend to anyone. This is a gotcha game through and through. Gameplay is fun and fast pace but everything's around in the game play is Insidious and greedy.

    Dead or Alive 6 is an extremely underwhelming game, especially when compared to other fighting games that have been released on PC. Had the developers taken better care of this game would the series have any chance of redemption.

    Better graphics than previous DOA5LR I played but less outfits and also this game is lacking team fight mode, which I loved in DOA5LR. I don't care about story seriously.

    It's great. It's the best game I've ever seen. The picture is exquisite, the movement is smooth, and the design is exquisite.

    Dead or Alive 6 is a decent fighting game. Although the DLC pricing model is annoyingly expensive, the existing content is enough to make you ignore it and devote yourself to its high-quality gameplay. As soon as lobbies are added, it would be a very good thing for all the fighters out there.
