    Great zombie game. You will definitely be happy to give this a chance! Awesome biker line, great bike driven story :) The hordes just make the feelings jump out of your heart. Very emotional and immersive. Devs got much to make better, buuuut... Sequel please team go go go!

    PC version of Days Gone is almost perfect. I'm glad this game can finally shine as it was meant to shine already in 2019.

    This game is amazing. Riveting story, very good gameplay, beautiful graphics, technically polished, huge open world, lovable characters - all of these make this game a masterpiece. I'm an old gamer, I saw a lot and I played a lot, but this game stands out for me. It found a place in my heart and my memory. Thanks Sony, thanks devs. It was a thrilling ride!

    Good story, good graphics, good and beautiful characters (not ugly space old lady). But the game is too long and has boring gameplay. I'm ok with long games but this is too much - this game should not be an open-world game. People who got all achievements in this game should get free PS5 from Sony for suffering in this game.     I'm normally not a single player gamer and it's been a long time since a SP game has got me hooked. Add to my bad memories of console ports!! This game is a gem, rock solid. I think this will be a game I will play to the end. Mechanics feel right, I like the story and graphics look sweet.

    Lots of fun doing missions and killing zombies with a good story. Driving a little weird on pc because of the port I think and cut scenes could have been better.

    Days Gone is one of the few console to PC ports that really works. The port improves the graphical performance dramatically. The game itself is has RDR2 elements (the dependence on a motorcycle in place of a horse, and a story driven narrative with several cut scenes), L4D2/World Z elements as freakers take on the role of zombies, and stealth elements you might enjoy in say a Assassin'sDays Gone is one of the few console to PC ports that really works. The port improves the graphical performance dramatically. The devs have done a great job of balancing these aesthetics into an overall enjoyable experience. The game brilliantly mixes the stealth, one on one attack of the freakers to the run and dodge element of taking on hoards, mixed in is the apocalyptic element of survivors distrust and looting of other survivors competing for the best position to keep living.

    Overall a good game, worthy of an 8 on the the 1-10 scale.    … Expand

    Days Gone is a game that starts off with a great atmosphere, beautiful graphics, and a okay story that tries to drag you in immediately.

    The gameplay is solid, it kinda reminds me of the Last Of Us, and I feel that the developers were inspired by that game, and so they gave us Days Gone.

    The guns feel great to use, melee combat feels amazing, and as I said graphically it is truly a stunning masterpiece, as is the atmosphere but more on that later.

    The stealth mechanic, could use some extra work. Enemies seem to act somewhat irrational when it comes to the stealth route because, sometimes, they see you coming from miles away where as other times they don't see you at all.

    Which was kinda upsetting to me. Also the silencers you can put on your guns, last a very short time, way too short if you ask me. Luckily we can download mods for that, more on that later too!

    The story, without spoiling anything, is kinda disappointing.
    Certain ''things'' happen in the story that is just plain pathetic.
    It basically made me feel like a babysitting adult, you'll understand why when you play it yourself.

    So the story is okay at first, but then it started making some turns that were just really weird and sometimes even annoying.

    The crafting system is alright but it is also pretty basic, and those crafting items you find in the world, seem to be just respawning. So there's no real in-depth in the crafting system and you will not feel like you truly have to survive.

    Deacon the main protagonist, is an annoying loud mouth, and has the mental age of a borderline child. Sometimes he randomnly shouts or just acts extremely childish.

    But the atmosphere and gameplay totally makes up for that, the entire game is huge, and with huge I mean really huge, I think it can take around 60 to 70 hours to complete. Maybe even longer.

    The atmosphere is what makes me keep coming back and play this, the audio is fantastic. The game can turn pretty creepy/scary too when you're playing at nighttime.

    Situations can occur that can change the entire plan you had in your mind about approaching enemies. The motorcycle feels great to handle, and is heavy, it is really there, it has weight to it. And the upgradable parts are a very nice touch as well.

    Hordes are mind blowing to see and are very intimidating. They can be hard to deal with.
    But make you feel extremely immersed.

    If the story was not so mediocre this game would've been easily a 10 for me, but I am giving it a 7 because the story is just really bad. Though others feel the story improves in the second half of the game. I didn't feel like that at all.

    However before playing this I do wanna recommend to play with some mods just to improve the game in overall.

    For starters, I would recommend a longer lasting silencer mod, a bigger hordes mod, and a reshade. This will bring Days Gone really to the spot.

    No Pc os gráficos estão primorosos, a experiência é muito boa, eu só acho que o inicio poderia ser mais empolgante, é bem paradão e é justamente no inicio que o jogo tem que prender o usuário, sem falar na historia que poderia ser menos genérica.
    Todavia, é um jogo que com certeza irei zerar e curtir muito, estou adorando.

    Story: Riveting story, well written and it evolved well! It really surprised me pleasantly and I Am not impressed with modern games! This game was mainly about story, so if you care about story mostly go for it! Great dialogs and acting! Your character even responds to what you do in the game and has funny remarks, it feels more alive than generic games!     Ambience: This game is very ambient, you can notice all kinds of different sounds and it has great atmosphere!

    Read to safe yourself some time:

    Gameplay: game mechanics are overall not bad IMHO, except it is annoying that you have to hold E button to get on bike etc. or opening things could be quicker! View is locked - sometimes it doesn't allow you to look around and guns are not precise very much, you have to wait before your aim gets more accurate! This sounds annoying right? But wait, you have slow-mo which gets drained quickly! So you can use it for quick headshots to not waste it. Also there are stronger enemies later, which have helmets - so fights can be tough sometimes, but not annoyingly tough! Except few times!

    I didn't know first why they would make aim like this, wait it is console port. But even without slow-mo headshots are possible and because AI is AI, it is actually OK. It is well balance IMHO! You don't die much, even it is difficult 1 out of 3 times. It really did surprise me, though there are from time to time challenging situations, I wasn't really stuck on hard and didn't feel like annoyed too much, except like once, or twice! I hate that! Also shootouts are somewhat cinematic like perhaps in F.E.A.R. as you have some slow-mo and fights last quite long, but too not much! So they are enjoyable, even AI isn't really a match! And because camera is locked sometimes, you can't look around much, so hardcore AI would make game only unenjoyable! As there is no good AI currently... So IMHO game is well balanced!

    There are annoying bandits which will ambush you from time to time and you have to repair your bike then, which is annoying, but it doesn't happen too often! I dislike looting tho, there is a lot of unnecessary looting and you could have more ammo at start! Also it takes some time and ammo drains quickly, even replenishing it in camp and gas often - I would that annoying, which made me less enjoy game! I would recommend going with AK and LMG and then m4, RPD. Snipers were useful only 1 time.

    I like idea scavenging for resources, but it could been done in more intelligent fun way. I like when game is more believable. And there is no reason to replenish gas every 800m and start and later like 2-3km... It is annoying, or searching for scarps, or repairing bike sometimes! It was console game, so has a lot of unnecessary mechanics, which made parts of game for me less enjoyable, which could be filled by something more interesting!

    Fighting zombies is amazing tho. Melee sucks pretty much, as one hit stuns you and does 50 damage. I didn't research it at start, but it is only for early game anyways, it is pointless kinda. Same you can fight only 1-3 zombies at the time max!

    Crafting: crafting is pointless didn't craft anything whole game except bandages and molotovs! Craft bandages and molotovs mainly, look for medkits - these can't be crafted!

    Skill-tree: not bad! Tho it should be clear what to go for from start, you really don't won't to go for melee. Sometimes there are booster packs, also game doesn't tell you what to prioritize... Can make some scenarios more annoying: like cleaning hordes, if you don't have enough sprint!

    Looting: I already talked about that I think, it is overboard, but not that much that you would want to quit game. You can get enough ammo by buying it in camps and you can bring it on your bike and there are ammunition crates and police cars used to refill ammo. More annoying is finding resources you need, even with middle-button vision it takes a lot of time to loot! Could be toned down about 50% I think, because it is not interesting at all!

    Bike: you get bike, which need to upgrade, but at start it is slow AF could be faster and doesn't have any gas capacity... There are canisters tho and you can use gas stations to refill, just don't run out in middle of nowhere. And quicksafe game on bike, when not in combat! Always refill in camp between mission and update gas tank later.

    Camp trust: I wasn't able to get trust in any camp to 3 and I did side mission also, but didn't clear much infestations as it takes so long... (waste of time to clearing all of them). And turning on credit does nothing! I used ak whole time until m4 or something, because there are no good weapons to buy, unless you like hardcore level-up 1 camp, so keep that in mind!

    BTW: Gaming magazines are corrupt, or they don't have esthetics, they always overrate, or underrate...    … Expand

    I was blown away by the world design of this game and was hooked from the very first hour. Days gone has a great progression system. Some of the best gameplay features of this game unlocks after some 30 hours or so in the story.     I was particularly invested in the story of protagonist deacon St John. The story might not be as gripping as last of us or witcher 3's but this story is pretty good in itself.

    My one gripe would be that the side quests feel a bit repetitive, it mostly ends up being a fetch quest or rescue mission wherein you have to take a group of marauders before freeing the captured target.

    A bit more variety would've been nice.

    This game in my opinion would have been 10/10 if it had quests with multiple outcomes depending upon how you go at it. But that's wishful thinking. Speaking of wishful thinking, I really wish someday they might make a sequel for days gone. The World and horde mechanics itself are worth the price.    … Expand

    The story around Deacon, Sarah and Boozer captivates you just as quickly as the innovative game world. The characters are very well written and interact believably with this dystopian game world.     good game.... the game is great. It lacks sharper plot twists. For example, a base under an electric fence could be used as a haven for an attack, which would create a more interesting plot. I hope there will be a continuation. Riding is just neurally awesome, and there are a lot of side tasks that are annoying. 9/10

    This game is actually good, for me, pretty good. The story is amazing and characterization is really successful. So I truly recommend this game to anyone who loves Zombikilling and wishes to have a fantastic journey in an open world.

I honestly wasn't expecting much but I can honestly say with 20 years of gaming under my belt this is one of the best games I've ever played and thats with the likes of the God of War reboot, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, The Last of Us (not the sequel), etc forDays Gone for PC is by far the best way to play with none of the PS4 limitations hamstringing it. I honestly wasn't expecting much but I can honestly say with 20 years of gaming under my belt this is one of the best games I've ever played and thats with the likes of the God of War reboot, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, The Last of Us (not the sequel), etc for company.

    Story, Missions & Characters:
    Most notably the story is extremely good for those of you actually willing to listen to it, the side missions also tie into the main story in a limited way as well which is very pleasing to see devs on a limited budget attempt such things, voice acting is top notch as well and without saying too much there are certain characters you will want to do well for. Outside of the main story you can augment it by finding and listening to "NERO" recordings scattered in the world and at NERO outposts, theres a lot to like here. The only thing I'd say about side missions is that while they also fed some interesting story elements the missions themselves felt a little too much like busy work too often for my liking I'd rather have seen fewer side content missions that were more well structured to tie into the story more. Characters in the game are also all very good, one or two did feel a little under developed with no way of intereacting with them and getting to know them better outside of the missions and cutscenes.The one cardinal sin Bend have made though is that the puppy you end up getting for another character you can give toys to and hear the lil puppy play with his squeaky toy but you can't play or pet the puppy! Bad Bend, bad!

    Gameplay:
    Gameplay is fun with a slight twist on ideas it borrows from other games. Horde hunting is great presenting you with multiple ways to do them, the stealth mechanics are functional but a little basic with one of the most devastating stealth weapons being... a rock. Said rock has a very wide area you can lure hapless NPCs to their demise and as you level up even use the rock to stun weaker enemies which is a pretty awesome twist on the humble rock, just tone down that hear distance for it Bend in a Days Gone sequel so its not so OP ;o) Game mechanics are also quite simple but also surprisingly in-depth where needed, such as how you accomplish your goal. You can wade in through the front door guns blazing, look for a back entrance, use stealth and misdirection or just set up traps and watch with glee as they do the dirty work for you. The only bad thing really with the gameplay is how often you'll get murked while riding on your bike, the mechanic itself is a cool idea, but the game past a certain point just tries it too often in the end and it gets a bit annoying. The trade system in the game is also basic but functional however it would have made sense to be able to buy some components in limited quantities to make things with.

    One of the stand out things about Days Gone is your motorbike, theres a lot of customisation you can do to it and the changes you make really do impact things like handling I would have liked to see more done here, such as more options for handlebars, the seat, and fenders

    Stability & Bugs:
    During my playthrough I had and saw a fair few bugs ranging from things getting stuck in the game world to dodgy physics and spawning issues. None of these things are particularly detrimental nor do they really take away from the enjoyment but I experienced enough to be able to easily tell the game could perhaps do with another patch to iron some more of the bugs out. I did not encounter any serious bugs and the bugs I did experience or see were funny rather than game breaking.

    Weapons:
    Weapons in Days Gone are good covering any job you might need to get done I settled on a combination of "Lil Stubby" and an assault rifle with my special weapon being a crossbow or silenced sniper rifle. The only time this changed is when I went horde hunting and switched my sniper rifle for an LMG. Throwable weapons are a good mix too including the likes of pipe bombs, grenades, molotovs, etc and the game even has things like land mines, sticky bombs, and remote control bombs to really cause some havock.

    In closing there is far more to like here than not to but unless I simply missed them or am the victim unbeknown to me of some bugs there are some things in the game that you seemingly can't craft like the land mines I only found a handful of them during my entire playthrough.

    How Days Gone does not yet have a sequel announced boggles the mind while The Last of Us has been greenlit for a remake which will make it a THIRD time retreading old ground. I want a Days Gone 2.    … Expand

Сюжет вроде есть и не плохой, но местами некоторые квесты сводятся к поездке через пол карты, чтобы наш персонаж спросил - как ты? и получил в ответ - я занят! = квест завершен, но в целом местами очень не плох и логичен, когда обсуждается почему наступил апокалипсис и как избавиться от орд зомби (да в игре зомбарей называют фриками, но я в реале на улице встречал фриков, поэтому язык не повернется назвать зомби так, к зомби больше тогда подойдет любой синоним слова красавчик).

    Вызывает вопрос сомнительный уровень сложности ВЫЖИВАНИЕ II, который не отличается ни количеством зомби, ни их уроном, ни лутом от СЛОЖНО II, а усложняется только отсутствием интерфейса - мы не сможем узнать присмерти ли мы с 10 единицами жизней или у нас максимум здоровья - персонаж никак не реагирует на это и не стонет ни хромает ни истекает кровью, а если присесть и выбрать метательное оружие, то из-за расположения камеры не будет видно, что мы держим в руках, как говорится метнёшь узнаешь, про колесо выбора оружия молчу - тыкаешь одно, выбирается другое - это как играть за компом стоя на одной ноге - сложность не увеличивается, только дискомфорт появляется.

    Как итог - игра понравилась за счет хорошей механики, сюжет не вызывает негатива, стрелять не надоедает, а музыка подчеркивает атмосферу!    … Expand

    Terrible pacing. You will witness meaningless fighting against stupid AI during tedious cutscene. Bad ending. There is just not gonna get an sequel, wonder how dare they wrote a confusing ending without explaining it. The purpose of finding his wife bring nothing but cringe and question, like why the flock did I spend my time in this rubbish.

    I wanted this game to come to PC for so long and when it finally did i played the hell out of it. It's no masterpiece but it surely not mediocre as well. Loved every second of the game, of course it's not perfect, but it's fun. Missions do get repetitive and the story goes a bit slow in the mid hours but its worth what you get in the end. Great graphics, close second to RDR2, gameplay isI wanted this game to come to PC for so long and when it finally did i played the hell out of it. The world of Days Gone is as immersive as it is believable. Unfortunately, there is no sequel, which could be due to the mixed reviews from game journalists/professional reviewers.     One of the best games ever made and my favorite Open world game. Great gameplay, amazing story and really good graphics. Onliest bad things are a few bugs but they don't take away from the overall enjoyment imo.

    Days Gone was ported almost too perfectly, and I would say it's one of the best console ports to date. The controls are seamlessly integrated, graphics are amazing, performance is commendable -- as if it was made for PC in the first place. The game is also crafted with fun combat, engaging exploration, professional acting, decent writing and world building.     По геймплею все обычно и не без проблем. НО! Если играть на сложности сложно 2, игра стает настоящим испытанием, с необходимостью щатать патроны, комбинировать разные виды оружия, искать припасы, натравливать фриков на людей. Из минусов, немного непонятная физика байка (не в езде, покатушки отличные) при столкновении с толпой, и другими препятствиями, несколько однообразные второстепенные мисии (но прошел я их все).
    По итогу могу сказать следующее, пиратку я прошел.... Ипотом купил лицензионное издание на Epic Game. Разрабочики, SONY BEND, не обходите стороной PC. Мы вас очень ждем!!!    … Expand

    The game starts slow, but then you just can't get enough of the story. The characters: 10/10. The music: 10/10. The story 10/10. The atmosphere 10/10. The realism 10/10. The waifu 11/10.

    The combat gameplay isn't that great (AI is weak) and the sidequests are a bit copy/paste repetitive. But it's still an amazing game. Finished on Hard II in 44 hours.

    Game is very immersive, well-built characters, makes you want to help every survivor that appears on the map, very very good soundtrack, you put yourself in the protagonist's shoes and just want to clear the map of the zombie hordes!! And may more Sony games come to PC :DD

The gameplay is better than in last of us, having more complex RPG elements, more weapons and items.     Maybe it's because the game is not easy. The journey to the story is not that difficult but the after end game is and its because most people, when they reach the end of the main story, will realise that the two hordes they took out in the main game was just 10% of what is really out there and they are BIG!

    Also one great aspect of this game is that no matter how much money you have you can only use it to upgrade your bike, guns and other military equipment but when it comes to Molotovs and other toys like proximity bombs (and trust me you will need lots of molotovs against hordes) you still need to scavenge for material like Scrap, Rags and Kerosene which adds to this games realism aspect. After all why would you scavenge at all if all you needed to do was go to a Camp and get everything you need? Well in this game its scavenge or die under equipped essentially.

    When I play a game past 30 hours and still want to play it for me that's when it becomes something great and we've not had a game like that for a long time. Sure there are Ubisoft games but did you ever feel the need to go on after the story had ended or kept going just to get the story done?

    Well with Days Gone you'll actually want to push on and when the main story is done you'll want to continue. That's the difference and how this got a bad review from all the critics again is a mystery.

    The Graphics are some of the best you will see as well as the weather effects that actually turn summer landscapes into winter ones as well as those people in it who all get covered in snow along with the Roads and Buildings! I don't think i've seen that level of detail before. RDR2 had Snow levels but not places that started out as normal but ended up as winter locations which can then switch back depending on the weather.

    TL:DR: Don't listen to the critics. It's clear they are no longer reviewing games for their gaming qualities. Days Gone is a winner and in a genre that was considered saturated thanks to 10 seasons of Walking Dead lol. You won't regret buying this.

    BTW you may have a slight issue with stuttering on loading a save game. Just do a 360 pan of the world (takes about 5 seconds) and the stuttering should be gone :)    … Expand

    Story is somewhat interesting.

    Not much of a zombie games fan when it's not COOP. But i'm enjoying the game.

    Скажем, время от времени, чаще всего в поселениях, падает кадровая частота, да и мелкие баги встречаются. У меня, к примеру, байк главного героя провалился однажды сквозь текстуру земли, из-за чего убегать от орды фрикеров пришлось на своих двоих. А в другой ситуации Дикон, поднимая мотоцикл на колеса, умудрился так сильно дёрнуть его, что тот пролетел по воздуху две сотни метров.
    Days Gone работает на Unreal Engine 4. На конфигурации с Intel Core i3-10100 °F, 8 GB RAM и GeForce GT 1050 Ti игра выдаёт больше 30 кадров в секунду на высоких настройках. На системе с AMD Ryzen 3 3200G, интегрированной видеокартой Vega 8 и 16 GB RAM тоже можно играть! Пусть и с низкими настройками и просадками FPS ниже 30 кадров.
    В ПК-версии четыре пресета графики — «низкая», «средняя», «высокая» и «максимальная». И просадки кадровой частоты случаются даже в том случае, если на относительно неплохой видеокарте вы играете на низких настройках и в 1080p. Я, к примеру, получил разброс FPS от 104 до 44 кадров: первое — во время исследования мира, второе — в поселении. А вот на максимальных настройках разброс был от 80 до 34 FPS. При этом выбор разрешения на это мало влияет — разница между Full HD и 4K оказалась минимальной.
    Если ваш ПК соответствует лишь минимальным требования, то вы вполне можете играть в Days Gone c «консольным» пресетом в 30 FPS. It's fun to play no doubt but it features hate speech constantly but we don't have suicide bombers or the ADL so these douches get away with it. It features church burning, it features all sorts of marxist SJW/perverts garbage, all sorts of antichristian themes and subliminals etc etc. Sony/Bend are trash tbh, HZD was another revolting game that looked good and had good gameplay but had an SJW trans main character and marxist story. It features a woman, who has a rod up her bum, who admits she's partly responsible for billions of deaths but in the end she's just enjoying herself back at the bunkhouse? Mmmkay. The protaganist is a douchebag of the highest order, a mentally disturbed murderer who mumbles wildly to himself a lot who is very holier than thou. He loves his hat and jacket. It sort of fades away, probably for a sequel, because the ending is just "we blew up a huge base of our enemies", nothing further about nero or the larger/deeper details or anything else. The world is nice to look at but after a while the side quests etc just get boring, the same thing over and over. DON'T even compare this to Dying Light which is a much better zombie game from 2015, memorable side stories and main characters, more immersive, much more suspenseful and scary, amazing atmosphere etc etc etc I did not support these devs or sony, borrowed a copy of it.… Expand

İnsanlığın tarifsiz bir felaket yaşaması, evrimsel bir darboğazdan geçmesi, hayatta kalan insanların ortalama karakteristik özelliklerinin değişmesi ve türümüzün hayatta kalma çabasına ek olarak yeni bir medeniyet inşa etme hikayesi her zaman ilgimi çekecek gibi duruyor. Ancak bu alanda o kadar çok eser çıktı ve kalite o kadar yükseldi ki türün hakkını verebilmek gün geçtikçe zorlaşıyor.

    Days Gone türü itibariyle bana iki oyunu anımsattı: Dying Light ve Metro serisi. Açık dünya olmasıyla Dying Light'a yakınken, hikayesinin odağı, craft sistemi ve oynanışın nispeten basit olmasıyla Metro serisine benziyor.

    Kötü taraflarıyla başlayalım. Days Gone'ın combat'ı oldukça sıkıcı. Yakın dövüşte birçok silah yapabiliyor gibi görünseniz de hepsinin oynanışı aynı ve bir yerden sonra bayıyor. Oysa Dying Light, elektrikli veya alevli gibi yakın dövüş silahlarıyla inanılmaz bir çeşitlilik sunuyordu. Diğer yandan menzilli silahlarda birçok çeşitlilik var ve bunların oynanışa etkisi ciddi. Fakat burada da silah edinme şeklinin sadece satın alma olması ve kampların güvenini ayrı ayrı geliştirmek zorunda olmamız ve bunun için birbirinin aynısı sıkıcı yan görevleri yapmak zorunda olmamız son derece olumsuz.

    Bir oyunda loot o kadar önemli değil. Ama loot'u veya craft'ı çok önemsemiyorsanız Metro gibi gerilimi ya da Dying Light gibi combat keyfini üst düzey yapmalısınız. Ya da görev dizaynı o kadar başarılı olmalı ki combat sıkıcı da olsa sonundaki hikaye ilerleyişi için oynamaya devam etmelisiniz. Days Gone'ın yan görevlerinde hem combat sıkıcı, hem de görevin sonunda bir loot düşmüyor ya da tüm bunları yapmanız için hikayede iyi bir motivasyon vermiyor. Açık dünya yapıyorsanız, birbirinin aynısı outpost ele geçirme görevleri yaptırıyorsanız, hikayeye bunları yediremiyorsanız, dövüş eğlenceli olmalı ve sonunda iyi bir silah çıkmalı. Tıpkı Assassin's Creed Odyssey gibi.

    Combat bayıcı olsa da vuruş hissi yerinde. Menzilli ve yakın mesafe silahlarında vurduğunuzu ve silahların farklılığını hissediyorsunuz. İsabet alan karakterin beden animasyonları iyi.

    Motorun özelleştirmelerini ve geliştirmelerini beğendim. Benzin kapasitesinin artması özellikle hızlı seyahat mesafesini çok etkiliyor. Benzin bulmaya çalışmak, bulması çok kolay bulunduğu için biraz gereksiz durmuş. Bunun yerine daha ender benzin bulabilsek ama aracımıza yedek benzin bidonu falan asabilsek, çatışmada mermi isabet edince patlasa falan daha gerçekçi olurmuş. Benzini doldurup, daha içinde litrelerce benzin olan bidonu bu yoklukta arkamızda bırakmak biraz saçma görünüyor.

    Oyunun açık dünyasında dolaşmak da o kadar keyifli değil. Sürpriz unsuru çok az, şuraya da gideyim belki bir hikaye ya da bir silah vardır hissi hiç yok. Bölgeyi temizlemediyseniz bir yerden bir yere gitmek çok zor ki bu en azından oyunun atmosferini veriyor. Hızlı seyahat için güzergahınız üzerindeki enfekte alanları temizlemiş olmanız gerekiyor. Bu da en azından işe yarar bir motivasyon kaynağı.

    Oyundaki düşman çeşitliliği de bir zombi oyununa göre çok az. Bazı hayvanların yanında sadece bir iki çeşit zombi var. Ancak horde meselesini ben ilk kez görüyorum. Onlarla karşılaşmak epey gerici ve zorluydu. Sanırım horde, oyunun oyun dünyasına kattığı tek yenilik.

    Oyunun görev dizaynı da bir garip. Özellikle ikinci bölgeye geçene kadar ne ana görev ne yan görev çok belli değil. Haritada bir görev beliriyor gidip yapıyorsunuz işte. Hangilerinin çok da elzem olmadığı öğrenmem ve direkt ana görevlerden yardırmam epey vaktimi aldı.

    Oyunun hikayesini ve karakterleri sevdim. Kampların ve liderlerinin kendilerine özgü kişilikleri olması, iyi ve kötü yanlarının, güçlü yanlarının ve zayıflıklarının olması, iç çekişmelerle uğraşmaları hikayeyi gerçekçi kılmış. Bu açıdan bana Fallout New Vegas'ı anımsattı. Keşke onun gibi rpg olsaymış dedim çoğu yerde. Yanımızdaki arkadaşlarımızın kişilikleri ve kendileriyle yaşadıkları çekişmeler de gayet başarılı işlenmiş. Ve oyunun asıl hedefi olan Sarah'ı bulmak, onu bulma amacının başlaması, bulduktan sonra yaşanan gerilim ve yeniden kavuşma da duygusaldı. Bu açıdan klişe ama iyi işlenen bir hikayeydi.

    Özetle hikaye ve atmosfer olarak fena olmayan, oynanış çeşitliliği ve keyfi açısından biraz sınıfta kalan, açık dünyanın avantajlarını kullanamayan bir oyun olmuş. İkincisi çıkacak gibi bitti. Yenisi gelirse umarım bunda yapamadıkları şeyleri becerirler ve çok daha keyifli bir oyun olur.    … Expand

    -The world looks great and doesn't seem like a generic zombie open world game at all. Great effects/photo mode, too
    -The combat is good (and can be unpredictable..which I appreciate). Has some nice variety, too
    -The supporting characters (especially Boozer and Ricki) were great
    -Has a real Last of Us feel for looting/scavenging.
    -Love that it’s based in Oregon...they obviously put a lot work/care into it, as well.
    -The challenges are a lot of fun...good practice, too. Thumbs up for letting you play with different characters!

    The main thing that held this game back was they skipped past 2-3 big scenes.

    That and the ending wasn’t anything special (unless there’s a sequel) and it was have been nice to send off Kouri/O’brian/Lisa on better notes.

    With that said...it’s a FUN experience with endearing characters in a setting I love.

    Price at this moment is $50, well worth it as the Campaign length alone is damn near 20 to 30 hours and that's not including taking down the 40 extra hordes laying around the wasteland.

    Drawbacks: Your Typical Zombie game always includes the following, Annoying Fetch Quests, Save this person from this outpost. You basically do a few of these before actual story missions. It's your typical zombie game, outpost take downs, people being tied up, being ambushed for no reason,

    Great game, Great story, Mind numbing side missions, fetch quests.

В Days Gone отличный сюжет, весёлый геймплей (орды фриков просто моё почтение), харизматичные персонажи, проработанный мир и неожиданные скримеры (не пугайтесь). It has lots of eye candy and plentiful cut scenes, plus there's a skill tree and weapons upgrades too. Oh and it has an actual, admittedly capable, actor I remember from US version of Being Human cast as lead character, Deacon St John.

    That said, the negatives heavily outweigh the positive. This includes in game bugs that can be downright infuriating, unfair save game cycles you have very little control over, basic weapons and vehicle mechanics that often feel awkward.

    There's a real lack of balance game and cohesion in the story. Points are gained by building trust but its uneven between camps you visit which creates some real issues when it comes to things like fuelling up, re-arming and buying weapons and other provisions.

    Many of the missions add little to the disjointed plot and sub plot ridden story too and end up feeling like busy work. Its not helped either by limited diversity in environments and somewhat repetitive enemies.

    All in all, this one bored me after 3-4 hours of game play and I can not recommend it at its current purchase price.    … Expand

    I've never expected to become as ivensted in the game as I did in the end.

    and Deacon IS that foundation. the man, however stereotypical he may seem at the first glance, carries the whole game on his shoulder. other cast members are mostly great too (ESPECIALLY Booser and Sarah), but they come and go while Deacon is always there, narrating almost every moment of the game in his mumbly, painfully strained voice. I though it would get too old very soon, but just as you start to think that Deacon talks maybe a little too much, the game throws you into unreasonably wholsesome and sweet flashbacks, and a potentially irritating protagonist quirk suddenly becomes a marker of his whole character development. to say more would be a spoiler.

    the other thing that keeps you from skipping on exploring the open world and searching for resources are, of course, the hordes. if you think you can get by without crafting and managing your supplies, think again. the best case scenario - you're clearing out the nests and suddely find out you don't have enough molotov for the last one and you're out of kerosene to make a new batch. the worse case - the same happens when you've just caught an eye of about a hundred of freakers in the middle of a road. so help you God. I don't remember the last time I've actively rode around the map entering every house praying to find at least some piece of resources - maybe, just one styrofoam cup or a rag - because I've just spent almost everything I've head to make crazy crows stop peckng poor Deacon and it's already 8 o'clock.

    I would say the only thing I personally missed from the experince was in-game music, like a radio of some kind. I understand the concerns about ruining the atmosphere in some instances, but, in my opinion, it would help the simple travel from A to B feel a lot more engaging. and it's not like there is no way to justify a radio in the world of the game - Copeland already has one, so why not play a tune from time to time, when things are calm and slow? maybe something to consider for the sequel, if it ever comes (which it most certainly should do).    … Expand

    Amazing game. Cliche story, but very well written! Excellent gameplay, music and combat. Beautiful graphics. I love the characters and the horde fights are fun and thrilling.

    I think the only significant downside, for me personally, is that I found some story segments did drag on a tad too long at times...

    Great game 9/10!

    Definitely a must play. The game is an underrated gem.

    Sure it starts slow, but when it gains momentum, it'll only have you wanting more. The gameplay is tight and will have you hooked for hours. Certainly one the best games I've played this year.

    It might not have had the success it deserved in PS4 but in PC it shines brighter than a diamond.

    Good game and fairly priced seeing the graphics upgrade. My complains is the fps fluctuations (specially when riding the bike), the lack of enemy variety and the minimal bike customization. It's greatest strength is the story and acting in combination with a tight gameplay mechanic that prefers head-on action. I really hope for a sequel and I would pay full price.

    Good game. At first It didn't feel like a AAA but after playing quite a while, I was able to grasp the game mechanics and it felt really satisfying, Specially after killing a horde. The story is not bad but It could be better. I really like the main cast though. This is one of the game that kept me going even after I completed 100% of the quests. Looking forward to check the sequel ifGood game.     Great port of a great title. Zombie games are all around us, but Bend Studio managed to squeeze every last drop out of this worn out setting. Everything is well-designed and polished in Days Gone – the believable world and characters in it, the distinct post-apocalyptic aura, the crafting, the thrilling combat and spectacular encounters with bloodthirsty hordes. In addition, this version is well-optimized and runs smoothly on a mid-range PC. [08/2021, p.48]

    The PC version of Days Gone manages to be a superior experience. More polished and better performing than the original on PS4. It doesn't escape its sins however – a story with an uneven pace associated with repetitive and sometimes unnecessary mechanics. The game would benefit if some mechanics were simplified, but it is still a very solid option for those who like open worlds, motorcycles and zombies.

    For my money, Days Gone remains one of the absolute best open-world games on the market, and now more people will have the opportunity to try it out for themselves as it puts its best foot forward. That’s something worth celebrating, I think.
