Sep 11, 2024Tsunako’s art is, as always, gorgeous. The game’s a joy to play and hard to put down. It introduces some new (great) characters to the fiction while also giving me more time with Tohka. None of this is something to complain about. And the fact that it has finally been localised now suggests that perhaps, just perhaps, Idea Factory isn’t done with the series yet.

Sep 9, 2024DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia is an easy recommendation for fans of DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation with its lovely art, music, and memorable characters. I don’t recommend playing it before Rio Reincarnation though.

Sep 9, 2024If you’re already acquainted with Date A Live’s bishojo, Ren Dystopia provides the opportunity to get into their heads, learning about their diverse desires through a wish-granting premise. It’s a playful deviation rather than indispensable chapter in the series. If you’re yearning for another romp with the cast, Ren Dystopia delivers. Just don’t expect much more.
