A streaking ending for the Dark Souls saga that elevated my senses to another plane. I was constantly trying to keep my jaw from falling on the floor after encountering incredibly designed enemies (from a game-play and aesthetic perspective) and to say the least, breathtaking landscapes. Thank you From Software for ending in the best way possibile this work of art called Dark Souls.

A massive improvement to what we had in the first dlc. This is a solid and great send off for the entire dark souls series!!

I can't say that it's my most favorite expansion for DS but it's one of my top favorites though. Pros: +Environment/Scenery (Way better than the last one) +New Weapons/Spells/Armor etc... (A lot of these I actually like and did use in the DLC) +Bosses

+Bosses (Fromsoftware has done it again except for ONE of them)
    +Lore/Conclusion (Solid sendoff)
+Enemies (Bunch of variety here and all of them are unique)

    Cons
-Short (The Ringed City looked pretty big at first glance, wished you can see more of it in full glory)
-----> Placement of Bosses (not expecting them to be THAT close to each other)
+/- I still am not too fond of the linear part about DS3 but its more of a personal opinion

    Overall great DLC!!!
Thank you Fromsoftware for DS and giving us a place to praise the sun :D
Good luck in your future and to those who haven't gotten the DLC, this is a must buy for sure!

Сложно весело много,ничего не расстроило,негатива нету вообще,поклонникам первого соулса зайдет с лихвой,жалею лишь о том что дополнение последнее,и больше мы соулса не увидим.

Hands down the best Souls experience I've had, and I've played all Souls games and Bloodborne. The amount of content this DLC offers parallels The Old Hunters, and it's so freakin' awesome.

Before I start this review, one should note that Dark souls 3 is my favorite game in the Dark Souls series, including Bloodborne. The more streamlined map-layout, the smooth combat system and the life-like bosses are all part of what has been one of the best experiences in my life. Therefore, did you not like Dark souls 3 in its essence, this review might not be your cup of tea.

The Ringed City is no different. The bosses show likeness to other bosses from other Dark Souls games, but at least the first boss creates a unique dynamic. The final boss follows suit with most other final bosses, but has a more frantic and drunken brawl style to him than the others, making him a unique challenge as well.

But the Ringed City is so much more than the bosses. As you venture forth into this hell-hole, you are faced with enemies which will pique your interest as to how they work and how you defeat them. You will face enemies which you will think to never overcome and at whom you¨ll scream your frustration. But as you figure out each puzzle, overcome every obstacle, the feeling that you play for, that feeling of triumph overtakes you and... Well. It's not exactly sexual but I you will probably need a change of pants.

To cut the review short, the Ringed City is very similar in style to the Ashes of Ariandel. It pushes the player to his/her limits, dancing happily around the border of unfairness, almost laughing at the player's despair.

But if you are a Dark souls fan and you liked the Ashes of Ariandel, The Ringed City is the place for you.

A worthy ending to the Dark Souls series, but one cannot help but feel that one more game would not hurt the player base, seeing as Dark souls 3 was such a success. But what are you still reading this for? Get in there! That hell-hole won't clear itself buddy. Oh, and good luck.

    You're going to need it...

EDIT: (SPOILER ALERT): There are 3 bosses in the expansion. 2 of them are incredible fights where your skill will be tested. Midir however is not fun, but a grind to get through. Nonetheless it is still a worthwhile expansion.

Everythibg about the DLC is great, bosses, weapons, spells but tbe lack of end game content is depressing. Now that the DS3 support is coming to an end the player base will fade away, if they implemented a PVP arena ranking system like in other multiplayer games would not only make PVP more exciting but it would give the game a longer lifespan.

A Perfect Cap on a Perfect Game Series.
The level design - the effects on PVP balance - the creativity of the monsters
    100/100 A+
Great Work, From. Would love a King's Field Re-Worked from the ground up.
Maybe included in a Demon's Souls remaster - as the 6th Tombstone.

This is easily the worst Dark souls dlc of any souls game. Its a annoying tedious mess. Cheap spam is the theme of the DLC. Every boss minus the first one was trash. The majority of the weapons and armor arent worth the hassle to get. Huge huge let down to supposedly end this series.

As a stand alone game it's decent. As the final curtain for the series it's very disappointing. There is nothing new here. I've seen people do it in 4. There's some good gimmicky weapons and a good new covenant (whose main idea is copied from DS2) but you can still R1 spam and roll your way through most of the content. There is nothing that is remarkable about this DLC at all, and sadly the series has gone out with a whimper. Expand

Loved it. The lore around all of this makes it a masterpiece in my opinion. Finding an eternally slumbering princess who is protected by a dragon in the lost city of the pygmies.....and once you find her....Wow!

Amazing end to such a series. I would've given this a 9 if it weren't for the "hidden boss" and how unfair he is. Other than that, everything else is fun challenging and is definitely worth playing.

Probably one of the best dlc I've played It's amazing the way you see the world is being scraped against each other and will be turned into dust before your eyes is amazing and when you get down under the city and see how man's first kingdom looks. and wonderfully boss fight

Fromsoftwares portrayal of scale is my favorite part and I can agree with others that some enemies may be a bit unoriginal I believe the bosses were all great. (save the pvp one...) New weapons and armor are super interesting and the story telling is great as well. It has a lot of throwbacks to older games but nothing too major that newer fans will feel left out. Definite recommend although if you want the whole story the first DLC may be necessary, albeit short and unsatisfying. Expand

While it’s serviceable enough in a mechanical sense, The Ringed City fails to deliver the closure that is built up to throughout both pieces of Dark Souls 3 DLC. There are numerous lore points during play that are ostensibly A Big Deal, but they all fizzle out by the end. After spending more than 400 hours with the series, it was deeply disappointing to me to see so many promising notes capped with such a meager payoff.

A great content add-on that takes the best of the basic game and the previous games and adds great new features. The Ringed City excels in design, atmosphere, gameplay, boss fights. In fact, almost in everything that it offers.

Whereas most DLC works as a throw-in gameplay experience that complements the main game, Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City places itself in the role of an unforgettable farewell. Whether you enjoy the haunting vistas, the myriad of new combat encounters, the expansion of the weapon, armor and items catalog or the fond memories of the series at large culminating into a fitting conclusion, it’s hard not to argue that Miyazaki’s level of excellence has persisted throughout the series.
