Dark Light is a single-player 3D puzzle game. Levels present physical obstacles that must be conquered by moving beams of light that create solid platforms, allowing the player to maneuver themselves towards the exit.

The game challenges you to make your way through chambers utilising mechanics that make you think about your environment in ways you've never done before.

Set in a mysterious void, Dark Light is very streamlined, and places the central focus on the puzzles in front of you without distractions. You must run, jump, press buttons, flick levers, move objects and even take photos to carve your path to freedom.

    Really bad game..
First of all this game is quite hard to play, for one thing, its a sidescroller click-timing action game, where you have to block or attack at the right time. The bosses are quite hard themselves, but what makes it stupidly hard is the messed up gameplay mechanics. You have sometimes a hard time to "clip" correctly to the edges of things, e.g when jumping you sometimes miss the edge although it shouldnt..
Secondly, the screen section does not always move with your caracter. With bosses, it tries to focus the whole screen between you and your boss, which makes it impossible to see obstacles on the edge of the screen where you are (sometimes falling into nothing).
The other annoying thing is, bosses like the butcher, once you slayed them- always respawn when you load the game from another point later and you come in the same area. THat makes you feel like you never defeated them, making it feel like never being "finished". Its quite unsatisfying.
I know it looks nice and the level details and designs are nice. But its just too artificially hard to play. I wonder if anybody with a fulltime job is going to like this game...

It also has - to make it even harder - no real save points. WHich means, you have to rely on respawn areas, where you need to walk some long level sections over again and again. FUrthermore, you loose your items and everything you consume (e.g healing pots) will be lost when "reloading" or respawning... which means you sooner or later run out of healing potions and you really need to have luck with bosses not hitting you... so hf
