Love it. Despite some minor bugs and glitches. Graphics are amazing but the the strongest point is the storyline. Playing on RTX 3070. There are some areas for improvement, eg. NPC and physics. But still I give it a 10/10 - I just love this game.

По-моему сюжет в игре тащит. В техническом плане, конечно, все плохо, но даже после шикарной RDR 2 геймплей не кажется скучным.

Now with patch 1.06 live, this game has delivered 15 hours of gameplay even before meeting Johnny. The game was fun and it is full of life. Get double jump and mantis blades asap folks

I feel like the older video cards are giving people issues, cause I really have no game braking moments as of yet on 2080 TI

Anyhow after many hours I finished all the side quests and the main story, now I'm back after the ending exploring every section the city bit by bit. Looking for hidden gear and mini quests I might have overlooked.

Musics and Johnny Silverhand's scenes was very good but when he came to near me and talked for my choices it was bad experience.

A masterpiece that needs some polishing and Polish are known for being good polishers. :)
I have not enjoyed any other game for over 200 hours of gameplay, nor have I enjoyed restarting the campaign and second/third playthrough on harder difficulty. Gameplay wise, like gun mechanics, its a God game. Guns feel so heavy and real, It's just so enjoyable to fire them and hit opponents...

Sound effects and music are fantastic too.
Huge living city. Yes, it lacks some variety (like you pretty often meet same models walking round the street), but its not an atmosphere breaker.
    Open world, awesome graphics.
Bugs? Started from version 1.01 and have experienced quite a few when a car is jumping above the building etc., but they were so rare than and totally not occuring as of 1.06. A few npcs got stuck underground or on crates too. But thats it, the bugs are not so critical as drama queens describe them to be.
All in all as of today it is a strong 9 out of 10, but because so many retards give it 0 for absolutely no reason other than bombing, I give it a 10.
This game now has everything to even surpass an iconic Witcher 3.

I think that ignores the large number of bugs in the game. In fact, this game is a masterpiece, a masterpiece that unfortunately the development team has not fully overcome its difficulty. Great story, great atmosphere and characterization, visual effects, great upgrade system, and a whole host of other options that should not be overlooked because of bugs.

You can really feel cyberpunk vibes here. The only downside to the engaging story is that it is too short. Luckily, there's a whole bunch of some of the best side quests I've ever completed in an RPG game. Each of them has its own depth, intriguing characters and atmosphere. The writers did a really great job here. The most memorable one for me was the quest in which I had to track down a kidnapper of young men. The atmosphere, mystery, and on top of that on of the the coolest features in the game - braindance - all of this made this quest unforgettable. I really recommend it, every player should experience it for themselves. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. From when the first trailer of Cyberpunk 2077 debuted in 2013, I was very excited of the idea and the theme and wanted to have the game as soon as I saw it. Now when we come to 2020, when the game was showcasing gameplay, more trailers, I wanted to know more of the game and hope for the best when finally it was released. I was not disappointed of the content that CD Projekt Red has given me and I was not let down in the slighted when it comes to this game. The visuals were jaw-dropping and made me happy to see what next generations graphics has brought to the table and happy to see what future games have in store. The story kept me engaged and eager to see what has happening next and where else I'm going to go. My only gripe were the characters that were involved in the plot. They needed more time to settle to get to really know them and understand who they are, especially one character that you are introduced in the beginning of the game. The gameplay was fast and I appreciate that you can tackle certain areas however you wanted and it gives off a level of creativity when you have certain attributes or upgrades that you get along your journey. They also gave the player a simple level up system to where you can gain experience and distribute your points in the playstyle that you prefer which is very appealing you can level up those areas as well and gain rewards by simply playing the game and become stronger by doing it. You can be able to craft weaponry and clothing that you use throughout your journey but it needs a lot of work for it can be exploitable to gain resources rather than spending it and using a simple mouse spam hotkey would almost give you infinite guns and clothes that you can craft at your leisure. When I found out about this, I immediately took advantage of it and soon enough I was able to craft loads of guns, clothes, accessories and sell them to make money and then craft and disassemble again and repeat the process all over again which made me rich and strong at the early stages of the game. My one big disappointment however is that the game is not really finished and with the release to previous generation consoles was a big struggle to those that are wanting to play the game. To further add to that, they removed a large amount of content that should have been in the game, it horribly optimized during its release date. They are quickly starting to patch things up and fix most of the problems that have occured but it needed to fixed before the game was even released and sets up a bad example to the trusted company that CD Projekt Red as displayed from their previous titles. However, with the new patches that have came through makes the game playable to those that are playing on console and the its helpful to those that are playing on PC and I hope that with future patches that this company is doing will soon make this game and enjoyable experience that everyone should play and experiences that mature themes that this game displays and handles. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great game that gets too much unjustified hate just because of the bugs and problems.

There are many things in the game that work perfectly:

Amazing storytelling - one of the best I've seen lately. The story is super emotional, the writing makes sense and I was always excited when I moved forward in the story. I would definitely appreciate longer main story. Main quests are accompanied by important side quests, that often feel like they are part of the main storyline. I personally don't mind the lack of choice and impact of your choices, but I can imagine you might get upset because of this. The beginning could have been longer, since your life path matters only a little bit. ENDING SPOILER: Personally I don't really like that you are being pushed into a certain ending without much of a choice (picking Rogue/Johnny attacking Arasaka ends with the Sun ending, although I would love to leave Night City, like in the Star ending).

Character development and interactions - this is the part of the game I enjoyed the most, the many different interactions V has with the characters. I played as female V and the relationship with Judy is just amazing, probably the best romance I've ever seen in a game. I think most of the success depend on the animations and this game has some really incredibly animated scenes full of little details.

Overall the quests (both main and side) are amazing and prove that CDPR has some truly talented writers.

Music - flawless. The soundtrack and radio songs are just amazing, I can't imagine anyone disliking the music in this game.
World building - amazing as well. Night City is an incredibly detailed environment, each part of the city is unique, you can clearly tell which city part you are in currenly just by looking around. Although the map might not look large at first, believe me, it's huge. You will most likely remember the most frequently visited areas of the map, such as area around V's home, Jig-Jig street, pretty much anything along the main roads. But there are hundreds of cleverly hidden alleys. Often you won't even know where you are (without looking at the map). The verticality also plays a role in this, certain areas of the city might include multiple street levels (shops hidden at the bottom, above that is the main street which also has a foot-walk and above it all is a highway). There are also numerous buildings you'll visit that have an elevator taking you to different floors. This is something I wish would be explored even further, you don't really get a chance to explore the megabuildings properly.

The gameplay - it might feel a little bit slow at the beginning, mostly because of the large skill trees. As you level up though, you unlock more powerful perks that often offer some really unique ways of approaching threats. You can play as a strong gun-man, or be a netrunner, or rely on catanas and be a stealthy assassin. There are many different ways you can get a powerful build (my endgame build was a netrunner with some nice shooting skills).

Of course not everything worked out well:

Bugs - what else to say, this is what everyone mentions everywhere. Honestly it's impossible not to encounter a bug in the game. Most of the time thankfully it's only a visual problem - missing objects, shadow problems, etc. Not too terrible, but it can ruin an emotional moment a little bit.

AI - probably my biggest issue with the game. The enemy AI is ok, although sometimes they don't move or react. It's not terrible, but not great either. City NPCs can act weirdly when they encounter some violent activity - sometimes they run away, other times they duck and remain in ducked position even a few streets down the road where other NPCs are walking without any issues. Driving AI is the worst though, basically non existant. Vehicles don't react dynamically, they just follow a precalculated path and don't even try to break that behaviour. Police AI also is non existant. If you do some illegal activity they just spawn all around you. Everytime I triggered a police wanted sign I just escaped, because there is absolutely no fun in dealing with them. My recommendation is to just avoid any law violations.

Missing/unbalanced content - as it's been said everywhere else, there was obviously some cut content. Sometimes it's clearly visible, like the missing metro (it's just a fast travel, it's not even marked on the map). Lack of activites you can do in Night City is quite a big of a problem too. Apart from the quests, gigs, police activities and some shops, you don't really have anything to do in the city and that's a shame considering how amazing and alive the city is. I also have an issue with unbalanced content, way too many pointless activities (just like the Witcher 3 had MANY questionmarks on the map), I would rather see some more side quests. This is not just Cyberpunk's problem, so it's not that big of a deal.

Overall a great game with even greater potential.

I didn't fall in love with V. and his world, this Night City, always celebrated with mouths but pretty much flat and hopeless in reality. It's not because of its violence, you can find good stories among the outcast, but the lack of depth makes most dialogue strings sound like caricatures. The characters don't interact, they just read their line and so you cannot establish a bond with them. To me, this is the major flaw, the bugs can be fixed. Expand

An honest review from someone who loved the Witcher 3 and completed Cyberpunk 2077.

I promised I would alter this review once I have played through, and I have a few things to add.

First of all, I'm usually a completionist (Ghost of Tsushima, Witcher 3, God of War) but I finished the game here after roughly 48 hours. With some side gigs done (not very interesting but gives eddies), all side quests and all main quests. This is, honestly, very short for an open world "RPG".
I heard it from someone else before, that it's short, but I didn't believe it until I played it. I personally can't fathom how another youtuber accumulated 120 hrs, because I have no interest in clearing out the map - it's just not interesting enough past the side and main quests.

    PROS:
    - The main story is witten really well and interesting - and I'm basically playing the game for it.
    - Most of the characters and their backgrounds are enticing (Jackie, Delamain, Johnny Silverhand, Evelyn Parker, Alt, Rogue, Kerry).
    - The graphics are great on a top-end PC (with a 3070 and Ryzen 3900X).
    - The music and soundtrack is top notch, outright amazing.

    CONS:
    - Zombie NPCs / AI and idiotic traffic
    - So much less impactful, quirky and lighthearted side quests in comparison to Witcher 3.
    - The world feels just grim. And bland, and empty. Everything looks very similar, it could just be another American city like Las Vegas.
    - I expected to run into interesting stories randomly while exploring the map, but I haven't yet.
    - Lifepaths don't matter. Even if you come from corpo, you still end up with a weird "V street slang" as if V was meant to just be a streetkid. Past the first 15 minutes your background doesn't really get elaborated on anymore.
    - Customisation: basically non existent.
    - You also rarely get to see your character in cutscenes.
    - Romance: The options are underwhelming to say the least.
    - Too many bugs, considering how much time they had to polish. Which suggests to me they were massively behind in development schedule all along.
    - The ENDING leaves much to be desired. Why? Because a lot of our questions aren't getting answered, no matter which ending you'll get.
CDPR decided to take you back to where you started before the last mission after you finished the main story, a design choice I absolutely disagree with.
Ghost of Tsushima did this better; heck even the Witcher 3. I also can't see how they connect here in future DLCS, because the endings you can achieve for V differ greatly.
    - The STORY overall feels very linear, despite the fact you can get a bunch of different outcomes.
    - I don't feel the urge to 100% complete this game or replay it anytime soon. Probably when a paid DLC is out.

    CONCLUSION:

CDPR is a company that can produce great games, and we all know it. With Cyberpunk, I feel like they shot themselves in the foot announcing release dates that just weren't doable. They hyped up the game too much, and invested an insane amount of money and time into marketing (and Keanu Reeves, as much as I like him) - when they should have laid low and told us "we release it's when it's ready, 2021/2022". This is entirely, and I mean entirely, on the management and leadership (CEO) of CDPR. I assume it was just greed for money, nothing more or less.

Don't get me wrong. Cyberpunk is a good, enjoyable game if you can run it well, but nothing extraordinary like The Witcher 3.
It basically plays like it wasn't ready to be released, and a lot of things were rushed. It feels like it got released a year or two too early. They promised us content that just isn't in the game.

Can it reach that legendary Witcher 3/God of War/Ghost of Tsushima status? I highly doubt it. But it can certainly get a lot better - with additional content which was promised and great new story DLCs.

And the biggest thing is: Learn from this release. Improve.

Incomplete, shallow, derivative. I don't know what CDPR have been doing for 8 years, but it certainly wasn't building a great game - complete systems missing (braindance), shallow/poor design on those that are there (crafting), very limited RPG elements (no barbers ? no speech skills ?). And of course the deliberate deception regarding the state of the last gen console versions.

Never has a company so thoroughly wrecked it's own carefully built reputation in one game as CDPR has.

Cyberpunk 2077 is, to me, a huge step up in terms of graphics compared to CDPR’s previous hit, The Witcher 3, or any open world RPG that exists to this date. Even without the extra amazing stuff that is having Raytracing enabled, the game looks impressive, there’s no denying that.

The designers who spent countless hours on creating the NPCs and characters deserve a lot of praise: I’ve taken like 300 photomode screenshots and at least 60% of those are from characters, because they look incredible and pretty unique from each other. Their animations feel amazing, no lip sync issues, weird face expressions or anything like that: it is something CDPR nailed with most characters in The Witcher 3 as well, but it gets elevated to new standards for CP 2077…great job there, period.

Voice acting is also great, nothing felt out of place and also the soundtrack is quite great, even though I prefer music from fantasy oriented RPGs, some of the tracks in this game are amazing, so no big complaints there.

Performance wise, I was lucky enough to being able to play this game with two different GPUs: my good old GTX 1070, and later on I managed to get an RTX 3060 Ti, both paired with a Ryzen 5 3600. On the GTX 1070 it was not possible to achieve stable 60 FPS at all times even at Medium settings, and I believe CDPR failed to make it clear that the official system specs for the game are aimed for 30 FPS, and not even that, because a GTX 1060 is not doing 30 FPS at High Settings, at all times, in this game, it’s just not happening.

On the RTX 3060 Ti the game finally runs pretty well, even with RT effects enabled, but since it’s an open world, there are places where the FPS will dip below 60 and even below 50, especially in really crowded areas where the RT Lighting effects over NPCs clothes and stuff gets too taxing. No big deal, because luckily the whole game doesn’t take place in these places, and it’s pretty varied, with zones exceeding 80 FPS with RT Ultra settings too, at 1080p and of course always with DLSS, which looks and works great in this game.

Now…by the sound of this review so far, this is a great game, isn’t it? No, it’s not. It is not a terrible game either, but it’s not what it could’ve been.

For starters, this is the kind of game I had to spend two hours fighting the Keybinds and Controls, because I remap a lot of keys (being left handed) and we cannot remap keys like “F”, “Enter”, or use the arrow keys; the .xml config file can be manually edited, but it’s a laborious process as it contains a lot of actions linked to the same keys, it’s a pain, honestly.
This felt unacceptable for me on a triple A game in this time and year, it just makes me have a very bad opinion right from the very first minute, and to this day it hasn’t been patched to improve it in this aspect, which is sad.

There are also lots of Quality of Life features that CDPR managed to patch into The Witcher 3, like a better inventory system, or even crafting, that in CP 2077 are so terribly implemented that it hurts; a prime example of this is our phone: browsing contacts, which aren’t even organized alphabetically, is a pain, and one would think that in 2077 phones could work better than a fossil from the pre-smartphone era from 2004…only, they don’t, because stupid design choices I guess.

Then there are bugs…a lot of them, most are non game breaking and are small rough edges that shouldn’t have been missed in QC, but if the QA testing team missed, or were ignored, for stuff like the really bad keybinds in the game, I’m not surprised this game has a ton of small bugs and random glitches, not at all, for whatever reason.

The story…lastly, I liked it, it has several endings or paths at the end, depending on certain choices, quite similar to The Witcher 3 here, and it left me with some mysteries and questions unanswered while other matters were quite settled. I didn’t hate it, the story, mostly also because the important characters are well written and you end up caring a lot for them, and that leaves me quite satisfied.
    _____________
Edit - Patch 1.5, Feb. 2022: The game has improved quite a lot, although I still feel it has room to improve, and certain keybinds are still hardcoded, but it's much better for sure, now, therefore bumping the score to 8 seems fair, from my original 7/10. Update 1.5 has been great so far, and I hope they continue elevating the quality of this game more and more.

Let's get some things clear, amigo. This game has some issues, it is a very bold project from the polish CD Project Red. It has bugs and it has some balancing issues. I am sorry for the PS and Xbox toons that got the short part of the stick. To be honest please stop spamming bad 0 reviews in the PC section, because it runs pretty sweet. And this is how it should be, PC first and foremost. I still do not understand why people choose to buy consoles, never did never will.

Second there are real issues with difficulty/level scaling. Some mobs act like bullet sponges taking over 10 headshots and still they stand. Later on there are random thugs that can just beat you to a pulp halfway in the game - this game takes it's RPG part seriously and some people might find it hard to keep an immersion when dealing with poor enemy scaling. The game promotes a certain kind of play at higher difficulty levels. It wants you to find the perfect weapon/mods/abilities combo that will help you get superior fire power - again, just like an RPG.

And that was all, the struggle explained. The struggle embraced, because this game is worth it. The rest is all good. It literally brings together SCI FI elements from the 80's such as Blade Runner with the classics sci-fi anime like Ghost in the shell. The world is so detailed without being over the top complex. It really feels like walking the streets of a proper movie or above mentioned anime.

I am sorry for the people playing this on the wrong platforms and having issues, but this is a solid game.

This is 1 game from the Studio of this genre and they made every element in the game perfectly.

If your buckets don't pull it, that's your problem.
This game even on medium settings looks better than many modern games on ultra. But you really need on your buckets "on ultra" game`s.

Go ahead and praise your dirty gum called
ASSASSIN's CREED VALHALLA or Watch Dogs Legion which, one 10 years already as chewed, and the second is just a hack, even without the physics of cars.
But your "chewing gum" does not touch your tender little souls and does not injure your pink perception of the world.

That's why developers treat you like this.
Then they put DRM protection, underestimate their performance, and so on.
And in General, they treat players like cattle.
    Congratulations - you've earned it.

Now do not expect games from studios without Donation, without extended gameplay and relationships to you, not as a player, but as cattle from which you can milk any money.

You are ungrateful and toxic people who do not appreciate the kindness and good attitude from developers.

The game is really beautiful at times, it's the next-gen experience. But all this is overshadowed by POOR DEVELOPMENT, because these are not ordinary bugs, these are just unfinished elements!

I also have a negative opinion about the AI and many mechanics that are just plain dumb and outdated.

The open world in this game is weak. Only the main plot is AAA level. Rest? RAGE and Watch Dogs did it on a similar level. What I love about this game is the aesthetic experience. The main plot characters are created insanely beautiful, body modifications and implants are disturbing, some locations are beautiful. Cutscenes pressing into the chair. So what? Basically everything else is unfinished.

If there were no preordoers, no one would dare to release the game like this, because it would be suicide. Meanwhile...

The narrative is amazing, it has interestings plow twist since the first hours of gaming. The enviroment, -BEGIN SPOILER- the city itself gives you steps about your possible fate -END OF SPOILER-.
All the characters I met are amazing, you enjoy speding time with them and also you can get a relationship with some of them if you want. You really want to be in continue comunication with them and spend time with them.
-BEGIN SPOILER- I will never forget Takemura, Claire, Panam, Judy, Evelyn parker, River, Peralez and so on, Specially Jackie of course.
Jhonny Silverhand is an amazing character, both together (V and him) learn how to get along and together fight for saving V and Silverhand ideal or not (depending of what you decide).
    -END OF SPOILER-.
Every mision (primary and secondary ones) are amazing, they had their own story and gives you an idea of how people society lives on 2077, how it changed since nowadays and how other things didn't change, but evolved to be better (or worse) for humanity.
The enviroment and mechanics are amazing, you can really feel like you're in a strange cyberpunk future with high buildings, cyborg people, amazing futuristic cars and weapons that combines katana and body parts to defeat enemies, new addictions and mental problems caused
by robotics parts or informatic viruses and much rock nd roll. It's important to highlight the oriental culture that involves the city since it feels like it shaped the society, corporation and technology
The music is amazing, it perfectly sets the enviroment (pure rock, you will know why when you play the game).
I like the freedom the game gives you. It let you to be yourself from the begining, to let you start the game as you want and to have the fate you deserve according to your decisions.

To conclude, The game feels like a dark rock party where human freedom can be expressed in their body changes with electronics parts and their sexuality, but freedom is still questionable against human nature, mental behavior and peace.
Final Score: 10/10. Not a perfect game, but it has the formula to be a game of 10 score.

I want to add that It's not fair to compare with GTA5, specially 'cause is not the same franchise (companies may differ on mechanic and logics for their games) and if you want "more things to do" as many people suggest it actually is but as second missions with different activities.
If that's it's the case, I prefer Cyberpunk over GTA5 since it has better main and secondary missions and the enviroment is much superior. Also, I just don't like GTA5 sarcastic history, It really differs against previous GTA games.

    Things that could be better:
Some random npcs dialogs could be improved and maybe some activities could be added like using the arcade machines or adding eating animation (if you're not in a mission), I hope so in future patchs.

Geeez, this game is very addictive. The world is the most beautiful open, wild, and crazy thing that I have ever seen in my gaming life. Yeah maybe bugs can sometimes screw up good gameplay, but the storyline just with amazing perfection justifies those bugs completely. Really disappointing; Extremely buggy. Deceitful marketing.
Even if the game gets fixed, the gameplay and world have been done better before in other games. At best, it's shallow with just a few redeeming qualities if the story or writing clicks with you, which it didn't for me. Without bugs and the outright lies in the marketing, it could be a 5/10 or 6/10 for me, but that's not the game

Probably the buggiest production game I've ever played. It's still fun, but its remarkable that its this much of a mess, literally every 5 minutes theres npc or cars clipping through walls, missing textures, graphical artifacts, npcs forget what they were doing or stop, etc, its pretty rough.

There's just way too much going on with the game's systems, the world is super flat and looks

There's just way too much going on with the game's systems, the world is super flat and looks nice, but npcs might as well just be pictures moving along. 90% of the dialog options don't change much if anything with the story. Dialog itself is super cringey teen boy material and every girl is big buxom models walking around with no clothes on.

It's still fun, but damn, they could have just made witcher 3 sci fi edition and it would have been an easy 10/10. Why change what isn't broken?

THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCAMS / FRAUD OF THE HISTORY IN GAMING:
This was one of if not the most hyped games to ever get announced.. Of course something resulted in that hype.. Your stunning trailers, your promises, your very good reputation as a company made us fall for your lies and get hyped ourselves. The expectations YOU built to us were sky-high, and even after all these delays

This was one of if not the most hyped games to ever get announced.. Of course something resulted in that hype.. Your stunning trailers, your promises, your very good reputation as a company made us fall for your lies and get hyped ourselves. The expectations YOU built to us were sky-high, and even after all these delays you had our back.
"Coming when it's ready." Well, it finally came after 8 years in development and 4 delays and it's ready my ass....
Back in 2018 CDPR stated that they were targeting CURRENT-GEN consoles and assured everyone that the game would look "awesome" on them. If you haven't yet experienced this "awesomeness" yourself, that means you are one of the lucky ones to not fall for the scam, deciding to skip the console version. The game is FAAAR from ready in almost all aspects. PS4/XB1 versions suffer from screen aliasing, poor performance (not even able to get 30fps on 720p), countless bugs , crashes etc. The graphics look like it's a PS3 game. AND HERE COMES THE FRAUD I WAS REFERRING TO EARLIER... CDPR didn't give a SINGLE review code to any reviewer in the world to check the ps4 version... so NOBODY had seen how the game ran prior to its release. Every review was about the PC version of the game , and even for that they didnt let reviewers show their footage, but forced them to only use footage that was previously shown on trailers,e3 etc.... For the first time in history, this company indirectly forced potential ps4/xb1 buyers to pre-order the game without seeing actual console gameplay. IMAGINE IF UBISOFT OR EA DID THIS ... Their HQs would be burnt to the ground the next day after the game release....
Anyway, setting the ps4 version aside, i bought the game for PC... I own a pretty strong rig, capable of running any game at 2k 60fps... Well, I cant get this game to run at an acceptable frame rate no matter what I do... Only solution is to play the game setting graphics to low which takes away from the experience but anyway.... I spent quite some time trying to figure out the best possible settings to balance quality and performance kinda unsuccessfully. At first, I found the game entertaining and immersive if you exempt some crashes and bugs......... 2 DAYS LATER, I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT NIGHT CITY IS DEAD AND NOT ALIVE, DEFINITELY NOT IMMERSIVE AND FOR SURE NOT THE MOST BELIEVABLE CITY IN AN OPEN WORLD GAME. God, VICE CITY MAY have a more believable city than cyberscam... AI IS WOEFULLY BAD, you can check reddit cyberpunk subreddit for the issues.... actually a user found out that there's no driving AI in the game, giving examples ( Police will never chase u on free roam, they are spawning right behind u, npc cars will stop right behind u if u park the car at the middle of the street) Furthermore, this game lacks so much content... you can't get a **** haircut after you're done creating your character.... "in night city looks are everything" was a message displayed at the top of our screens when creating our V's,,,, yet you can't ever see your player's appearance, and you don't get to choose what you will wear since clothes give armor/stats so you will always go for the best stats and not give a damn about looks... There are no garages/parking lots... THE NPCS run simulaneously and crouch if u shoot in the air and so on.... i could continue writing till tomorrow... the game is FAR from what was promised to us, far from what we were shown in gameplays , and i feel sorry for ps4-xb1 users.... if i were them , i would refund every single GB of this crappy pile of ****
Now you may think i'm a hater, but let me tell u that i have 110+ hours of playtime on witcher 3, and i was expecting this game for 3-4 years now... ITS not hating, it's stating straight up facts. ONLY THING I CAN GIVE THEM IS that the city looks beautiful at nights with all these neons and lights and the story is very good.. also the music fits everyones liking...but thats pretty much it... AVOID THIS FRAUD AT ANY COSTS.. CDPR IS THE NEW UBISOFT/EA,,,,, REMEMBER NO PREORDERS AGAIN

Buggy and unplayable on Windows 7. Game crashes constantly, to the point where it will not be able to progress the main quest due to a bug causing crashes when looking at reflections (cannot be disabled in settings).

The game is a shallow shell that just hosts the story. The city is beautiful but its the most dead half baked thing ive played in a long while. Npcs are dumb as posts and anything other than the story just feels half done.

All the customization and things that make a city feel alive besides the crowds of zombie npcs is non existent.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So I've played the game for 20hrs now and just gotta say the story is good, the writing is good gunplay is good but seems repetitive. Haven't had crashes but I am really disappointed with the open world and the bugs and glitches that this game has.
It's ironic that a game about corporate greed was ruined due to corporate greed. This game is an unfinished mess and needs atleast another 6 months- a year of full development. Its open world is dead. Night city feels hollow at its core, there are little to none RPG elements in a game that's was hyped as the best RPG of all time and now they change the game's description as an action-adventure game ? **** hell cdpr...the corporate dystopia message was more explicit than I had hoped .
And what surprises me is the silence that CDPR has had over these issues. I'm not mad..I'm disappointed

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
