Yes there's bugs but I don't even need to get into that as I'm sure most people know the whole situation regarding optimization and glitches concerning this game. When it comes to the RPG style I don't really see it as much as I thought I would it's there just not as persistent as I thought it would be. The story is fantastic V is an cool character definitely plays a big role I enjoyed meeting characters and learning about some of their quest lines just an fyi take it from me Panam is probably the best character in this entire game ;). As for my final thoughts I think where this game really falls flat on it's face are the bugs obviously but the promised content that was cut from the game is utterly disappointing making me realize that this game could have had so much more potential and in my opinion could have been one of the best single player open world games to ever exist at this point I'm sure CDPR is taking this huge slap to the face by its community to heart because to release a game that needed maybe another year of development was a foolish choice and i'll be honest I saw this ♥♥♥♥ storm coming with all those last minute delays if CDPR just gave the time this game needed and not promise false release dates and show off misleading in-game footage it would have been so much better than it is now. So that said the game is a good 8/10 for me I love this game but man they really did drop the ball in the endgame. Expand

People crying and memebombing cdpr for delaying the release multiple times, basically now they are crying for issues the entirely deserved, but this is something that is going to be fixed and give us an excuse to play the game again. Night City is just freakin awesome, it literally got a living soul, the game doesn't disappoint any of its core expectations. Clearly, the average gta player will be luckily be deluded because this is a GDR, not an action game (THANK GOD). Asking them to explain a game like CB77 is literally like asking Dominic Toretto about Leonardo Da Vinci. A MASTERPIECE, can't wait to play it again after some patch to enjoy it EVEN MORE. Expand

It's like VTMB, in meaning match bugs and glitches, but we love the Game for atmosphere and story! Yes, if you read and watch many cyberpunk products, then you see many connections with it, but it's what we want!

Projekt Red continue to set the bar for storytelling as with Cyperpunk they have created incredible and emotional storylines and characters right from the get go.

I've marked it down because the city isn't as full of life as say GTA 5 was, which is a step back. No random events, empty roads, and bot civilians.

I am a fan of the cyberpunk genre and going all the way back to 2001's Deus Ex, I have to say that this is by far the most powerful and immersive story I have experienced in such a setting. The soundtrack, environments, characters and voice acting are also excellent and support a story that literally brought tears to my eyes, which I don't believe has ever happened before. I'd give it a ten but for the need for a bit more polish on the bugs even in the PC version, but damn what a story. I also struggle to give this a ten because there is no happy ending for our 'heroes', only 'hopeful' ones that leave a sliver of ambiguity. Again it was a powerful story, but not one I would call happy. Expand

There really needs to be an option to just call a cab and enjoy the ride. And where are the flying cars? The combat AI needs work and NPCs need better routines to bring the city further to life. The city is beautiful, but it is mostly just eye candy. Most buildings are inaccessible. Interaction with just about any NPC results in a canned hostile or nonsensical response. Great city design

    Bad
    Carousel of bugs and glitches
Promised character creator very limited, and after creating your "V" you can't even change a single thing, no barbers, no tattoo shops etc. yes, the game about cyber implants and body modifications don't let you modify your body.
Even when populated, the world feels empty and hollow, NPCs are the walking and driving zombies without brain, there are like 7 models, dialog with them is a one answer. They treat you like a ghost.
The AI is just bad, and apparently can't drive cars, you do something unusual and they just stop responding.
Driving model is at the level of Watch Dogs, cars are wild when steering and it's unenjoyable to ride around when you bump into everything because cars feels like driving a brick on the ice.
Optimization could be better, especially because graphics doesn't look super demanding. RDR2 works at 50-60 fps on the same PC with Ultra-high details, and looks waaaay more impressive. Im under recommended specs and game works like crap...

Hmm, the prank from the Poles turned out to be great)) Okay, I hope CDPR reported to the investors ... now maybe in a week, we will see a patch weighing 150 gigs, which will fix this... full of bugs and glitches? And after 2 years the game can even be played normally. Well, this is complete **** I don’t know how I created the illusion in my head that THIS would be the GTA killer and the best of the best in the cyberpunk setting. No, no and no ... this is fierce **** and I hope so for now?

I'll start with the most painful and unpleasant ... bugs. Who is this testing, cleaning lady? Wow, it was interesting to see what they were going to release to us in April ... How much noise and hype there was, this is **** Each dog has pre-ordered the game ... even those who play only in DOTA and CS. No, well, the marketing department can give a standing ovation, the guys are great. We were able to sell a pen.

In principle, nothing new, this is already stability with CDPR projects. But again, one main question arises ... how is it tested? Well, did everything go smoothly? Am I damned or what? In 10 minutes I have bugs that make me want to laugh, cry and facepalm at the same time.

I play on 2 different computers, I will describe the most common bugs
    - dead NPCs talking
    - cars, people go to textures, fall through
    - if you turn your head around, NPCs disappear, change ... cars the same way. As in its time in Vice City
    - objects, models appear out of thin air
    - objectives of tasks are not counted
    - disappears facial animation of characters
    - instead of walking animation, characters float
    - objects are hanging in the air ... cans, packs of food, etc.
    - often you can't get loot from the dead enemy, you can't pick up an object
    - the sound of shooting disappears

    Gameplay
    - Driving a car, clumsy, oak .. as in... I even know he knows what to compare with.
    - Shooting ... remember in Hitman Contracts (for example) there was an opportunity to shoot in the first person? It all looked like hell, the camera was simply sewn into the hero's head ... here the same impression is created. As if you are some kind of mechwarrior, the guns are separate and the body is separate.
    - Cardboard city, dummy inhabitants who walk back and forth. Well, somehow the world does not cling to, you don’t believe, you don’t penetrate. It is impossible to "live" in it. Yes, you can go to a bar, take a whore, and that's basically all. There is no simulation of life so that you can play out a kind of RP.
    - A separate item ... NPCs and everything related to them, animations, behaviour like in Morrowind? Well, this is fierce game.
    - Difficulty levels, all right. With the increase, the game turns into some kind of Division with numbers and "10 HOURS I SHOOT A MOBU IN THE HEAD AND HE DOESN'T DIE WATCH WITHOUT SMS"
    - Balance as much as possible, swing survival and hacking. the rest is not ****ed up at all. Long live the branch of the technique, which I was not going to pump, but had to. stealth branch ... it's just ridiculous bull****, nonsense.
    - dumb AI

Maybe I was giving too much hope to myself? From the very first announcement in my head, I imagined a kind of mixture of the RPG component of The Witcher + GTA with its city, dynamics, freedom and richness. If you take something fresh for example ... Red Dead Redemption 2... comparing these games is funny ... in terms of ... everything. For some reason, I was sure that this game would become a kind of sensation and cult. But in fact, this is a meme game. I imagined that GTA, Deus Ex and Syndicate would have the Witcher and something super-mega would be born ... but it turned out Borderlands with Morrowind again.

It seems that I bought the game from EA. But, even if it becomes super-ideal, I realized one thing for myself ... no more, no pre-orders

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
