Curses N Chaos is probably my favorite Tribute Games game.

Simple, pixely, retro and a catchy soundtrack. Combat is simple and constant, and with items being dropped frequently. There is a good challenge and a variety of levels! Soon you will be using all your items and making combos to rack-up your highscore. Levels lasting 10 rounds sometimes feels a bit too long and I would love

Levels lasting 10 rounds sometimes feels a bit too long and I would love to see shorter yet harder levels with more enemies so if you fail you can quickly return to where you were.

I think its biggest issue could be the poorly explained controls/alchemy to get the ending. But overall not a big issue.

There isn't much replayability outside of playing with new friends or going for a new high score, but just getting through all of the stages the first time will not be quick. For players who fancy a challenge, either solo or with a friend, Curses 'N Chaos is not one to miss.

Curses N’ Chaos is a good arena brawler that throws you right into the action. It may not be the most graphical intensive games out there, but Tribute Games has created something that you can get engrossed in really quickly. You will die a lot to make progress, and that may not be for everyone, but if you like your brawlers, then Curses ‘N Chaos is certainly worth a look.

All in all, my real issue with this game is that it feels like there was enough put in place to really make something fun. Despite the quality of each piece, and the unique take on the beat-em up genre, I almost feel like the game could have functioned much better as a side-scrolling title.
