While Curse Crackers adopts the facade of a simple gameboy platformer, it's actually an extremely energetic acrobatic platformer, made incredibly tight for the purpose of making each input satisfying and fun to pull off. Musically the game is fantastic, using motifs to tie together the two acts of a world, making everything feel connected no matter how much your surroundings shift. Curse Crackers is also abundant with secrets galore, and has a deceptively large amount of replayability. While the game stumbles here and there with flaws that only stick out due to the rest of the games almost perfect track record, Curse Crackers is a fantastic game at the end of the day, and deserves so much more love than it currently has. This game has incredible amounts of charm, an amazing soundtrack, and is more then worth your money at its current price point.

If you are a fan of platforming and nice crisp pixelart then this should definetly be on your radar.

Honestly, Curse Crackers: For Whom The Belle Toils really took me by surprise. Not only is it jam-packed with content, including an Arcade mode, but the base experience is a ton of fun, with just the right amount of challenge. If you enjoy retro-inspired games or just like platforming, this is the game for you.
