    From the stop-motion, claymation backgrounds that dress some tucked-away areas, to mind-bending stage transitions, and the commanding full orchestral score from composer Kristofer Maddigan, there’s not one aspect of The Delicious Last Course that feels undercooked.

    Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course strips away some of the less interesting scenarios and polishes what made it a standout success. It’s a little on the short side given the long wait time, but it’s justified by its bargain price and immediately obvious love and attention for its addictive and fair gameplay loop.

    Cuphead in The Delicious Last Course is a must-play for people who enjoyed the original game. If you found Cuphead too challenging, then chances are you will still find it pretty hard even with the inclusion of Ms. Chalice and her special abilities.

    The Delicious Last Course sends our jolly beverage containers off on a high note. It offers an entertaining final exam of your skills while also freshening up the original adventure by giving players a cool new character to enjoy. It’s more Cuphead at the end of the day, but I had a great time revisiting Studio MDHR’s wonderful animated universe, testing my mettle against its villains, and feeling fist-pumping triumph all over again.

    At long last, The Delicious Last Course is served. Its content maintains the high quality of the original game and introduces a unique story and new levels. New bosses and mechanics make this content pack worthwhile, but its short duration leaves us wanting more.

    If you’ve been longing for more Cuphead, then The Delicious Last Course is for you. But if you were, for whatever reason, hoping for a big shake-up in terms of gameplay or difficulty, you’re not going to find it here. Brutal but beautiful, this is simply more Cuphead, be that for better or for worse.

    Best game of 2022! Can’t stop playing it! Bravo Studio MDHR! Artstyle is gorgeous, animations are outstanding! Parry challenges are great addition!

    I know, we waited a veeeery long time for DLC to come out but it was worth to wait, even if it's only 2 hours long. Still deserves 10/10.

The new items in the shop are fun to use and experiment with, the new achievements are fun to go after, and the new bosses are challenging in a very fun way.
