    First i been playing 1.6 the graphics just made me sick then i was liek i need the upgraded version my cuzin introduced me to source no im playing 24/7 im a amazed with the graphics no just cause my video card i really say couple times u play this game you will be hooked if u like online action games trully

    Don't listen to the people who gave it 0s and 3s. This game has alot more amazing things than cs 1.6 or any other cs game. Levels are ALOT more detailed than the other version and less boxier. You can tell Valve spent a great deal on this. Hackers and cheaters/botters are rarely on because of admins and hosts. Headshots can be only made by a true marksman, hacker/botter, or by justDon't listen to the people who gave it 0s and 3s. This game has alot more amazing things than cs 1.6 or any other cs game.     Once i started cs (about 4 years ago) i still can't stop playing it ,cs is my drug and i think i do not know what will happen if i don't play more than 3 days and about cs:source , well i think this is the gratest FPS made till now , i'd never get bored with cs:s thats something i'm sure of.

    id say its a 9/10 the new updates suck steam sucks they need to ditch um they bringing it down the dynamic pricing is the stupidest thing ive ever seen thank god u dont need to put it on server u can take off source is the most addicting game ive ever played counter strike has no problems just steam f*cks it up

    I have played cs 1.6 and the sparks looked like the game was meant for 7 or 8 year olds while css delivers to a wider range of age groups and gamers. I love this game more than anyother including F.E.A.R. and Half Life 2. If you are a hardcore gamer who likes strategy 1st person shooters you will love this too!!

    p.s. one major flaw i.e. AWP!!!!

    One of the best damn games i hav ever played the only game topping it was oblivion and that was only because of the graphics but Sorce is an awsome game topping almost every game i hav ever played i love it because of the realism of the recoil and OH GOD I JUST LOVE THIS GAME

    Counter strike: Source is the best game i've played on because of the graphics and everything else but the thing it that you get so .. addicted to it like cocaine apart from most of us don't take it (JOKE) but it is still the best and thats why i like it

I have a cheap dell and get 40-50 frames per second and still am better than most people. There r hackers but not many. Plus there r alot more on 1.6 and they get banned quickly anyway.     I've remember playing this game for the first time and that was in the middle of 1999, the year when this mod for HL1 was first released. It was already excellent back then. N7 yrs later, now with better technology, better graphics, it's still the most played online fps in the world.

    this PC game is awsome i love the way the bodys land in some times and with the zombie maps it makes it even better great graphics and everything i may be 13 abd u think "shouldent u be playing halo 2 or something" well....no halo 2 sucks and i hope CSS it.

    Oh yes good ole CSS, Get down and dirty swat style or go and plant a bomb and blow yourself up to find yourself in the afterlife with 40 virgins(yeah right...). this game is a classic what can i say if you didn't play it back in the day you missed out and its too late to appreciate its glory.

    This is a hardcore PC game and thats why I like it its still one of the still truly hardcore games ever and it looks better and is better than the first one so if you have a PC it is one of the best multiplayer games on the PC and there are loads of mods and its still very popular

    This game is really fun and intense to play with i remember playing this game with my friends. It's a test of speed and reaction. Most of maps are really nice and easy-to-learn.

    Counter-Strike: Source is considered to be one of my favorite first-person shooter's in general. In this game, you can play as either the Counter-Terrorists (CTs), or Terrorists (Ts). Some maps will be based on a certain objective: Defuse a bomb (or plant it), or rescue hostages. Like every other Counter-Strike game, you have a "Buy" menu in which you can use virtual cash to buy weapons,Counter-Strike: Source is considered to be one of my favorite first-person shooter's in general.     Counter strike source is a good game that people could play for hourse but it is not that good...It is just not as addictive as it could be..

    This game is such an improvement over 1.6, the physics and graphics are much better than that of its predissesor. There are some new maps too which will keep you busy for hours.

    The best online multiplayer ever, no doubts or questions! The feel of it and the realism are nearly perfectly balanced and matches can become totally absorbing. I am addicted and even after many hours of playing it, you just can't get sick of it. Wow! The best game out atm.

    What is wrong with those companies? Have they ever actually played CSS? CSS is one of the greatest games of all time. Great graphics, great gameplay, endless possibilities with plug-ins, it has it all.

    i love this game counter strikes are the best shooters ever and always will be (i hope). the only thing that brings this game down is its limited capacity of online play. sometimes you shoot someone in the head and it doesnt kill em. this only happens a few times though so i cant complain. works like a dream with linkup though the game rocksm/(o_o)m/

    Nice game, I love it, but that annoying hitbox problem should be fixed..It is funny to kill somebody while you shoot 3 meters behind him.

    Great Game. Quite some differences to the old Counterstrike but that's what makes the game something special. The only thing I claim as "not perfect" ist on the one hand that valve gave to many opportunities for config-tuning and on the other hand the support from valve conceirning bugfixes and updates.

    Simply amazing. The maps actually look REAL now instead of massive corridoors. The physics are incredible and the gameplay is astounding. Best. Game. Ever.

    One of the best 3 online FPS game. It's a 10. Battelfield 2 is another one. Day of Defeat or Call of Duty 2 a third.

    wow, this was an amazing game. I bought half-life2 game of the year edition. I bought it because i wanted to play half-life2. But i was surprized by how good CSS was and have bever turned back.

A lot of people play it, so finding a server isnt very hard. /if your computer can run it, I'd highly reccomend Counter Strike Source. If I had a complaint, its would be that you have to wait for a round to end to respawn, and rounds can tend to be excesively long, but the This game is great.     Great game once you get used to it. You just have to wait for the perfect time to shoot. There are several mods and extra maps available for download, such as the Zombie mod, which only allows headshots to count. This is the best game online, at the moment, IMO.

    Addictive, visually stunning, and amzing teamwork, CSS has it all. You may get annoyed at the "haxors" or the "1337 pwners" out there, but you'll always come back for more.

    Graphic's are amazing, Game play competitively is what I think this game should be geared towards. Sometimes I think they are going in that direction sometimes I don't (maybe they are trying to keep it even for those pub masters). If you learn this game inside and out there is no reason you should not be very good at it. BUT these types of servers can be costly. If they some how enabled a good registering server for a reasonable price I think this game will/or would have gained more players but when I user gets a game installs it not knowing the tricks of the trade they are going to have lots of problems get frusterated at how slow things can go at times and might not even get thru the instillation process, let alone get to give the game a chance and enjoy what millions others do.… Expand

    This is a very good game, it is not a online shooter with cheaters, they will be banned forever. It has a nice gameplay, but the bugs made me choice a 9.

    No other game can compare to the realism and fun factor of Counter Strike. Other big shooters such as Call of Duty are realistic, but to linear and the damage engine is atrocious. Battlefield has the 64 player games going, but the amount of vehicles and unbalance among classes makes the game frequently frustrating.     I think this game is fun, but the problem with it is the aiming. Shooting someone in the body and your recoil will send the bullets fairly randomly around them. On the other hand some people play enough to have found a way around that, aim at someone's feet with one gun, or 2 feet to thier left. I think that this game does not tailor to a "NooB" at all.     The only thing I don't like is not being as good as the other players and well waits after I've been kills 4 steps into the fight but with a lil single player practice you'll be slaughtering and laughing as you watch the rag dog physics slump the now mamed corpses of you or your enemies on the ground.

    Great game, hundreds of hours of play due to balance that allows strong and aggressive competition. The strongest draw is the feeling of community of playing within a few servers and making friends. Great game!

    Its really a great game, good graphics and great game play, the effects are awesome and the scenery is great, i love how you can actually shoot through the boxes and doors, but there are some hackers which brings the game play down.

    Really good game. I nice upgrade Counter Strike 1.6 offering improved graphics and gameplay, though still including the old classic maps such as de_dust2 and de_aztec. For the £10 it costs now, well worth picking up, for both CS 1.6 veterans and gamers that wish to start.

    I mean that CS:S is one of the best Multiplayer Games, and its more REAL then CS 1.6 and all another Cs games.
    The weapons look more real too!
    But its one thing who do me little bit angry and that is all the skins you can download and the cheats!

    This isn't Counter-Strike, this is a totaly other game! The Graphic, the Sound an de Gameplay has changed from 1.6 to Source. I love this game and will play it untill the next CS!.

    Valve has done a sterling job of moving a flagship franchise over to a new engine. Whilst the gameplay guts come over correct and intact, (which may disappoint some), Counter-Strike: Source is an even more engrossing and captivating experience, capable of sapping hours of your time, and even the worst "1337 g33zers" abusing voice chat can't spoil the fun you'll have with it.

    Counter-Strike: Source is, once you've gained a knack for it, the most consistently rewarding and surprising team-based shoot-'em-up available on the PC today. It's been dressed up nicely for its relaunch in 2004, but it wasn't broken, and Valve hasn't fixed it.
