    Counter-Strike: Condition Zero has always been, for me, the visually improved yet less favored sibling of the original Counter-Strike. While it introduces some new elements like singleplayer with bots, it struggles to compete with the timeless appeal of its predecessor.

    As a die-hard Counter-Strike fan, I've spent countless hours in the original game in my childhood. However, for    Counter-Strike: Condition Zero has always been, for me, the visually improved yet less favored sibling of the original Counter-Strike. While it introduces some new elements like singleplayer with bots, it struggles to compete with the timeless appeal of its predecessor.

    As a die-hard Counter-Strike fan, I've spent countless hours in the original game in my childhood. However, for newcomers, the game's steep learning curve, outdated graphics, and gameplay mechanics might be overwhelming, limiting its appeal to those who cherished it in its prime.

    Despite Valve's attempt to remaster the classic, many players and even the CS pro scene remained loyal to the original. Personally, after revisiting Condition Zero, I appreciate both games but find myself leaning more towards the charm of the original.

    One notable downside of Condition Zero is its considerably smaller player base in comparison to the original, which sometimes makes finding active servers today a challenge, particularly for modes other than Deathmatch.

    As for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero - Deleted Scenes, its attempt to introduce a story-based campaign falls flat for me. Although the gameplay remains true to CS, the lackluster story and uninspiring gameplay make it a disappointing experience compared to the multitude of better mods available in Half-Life.

    In conclusion, if you prefer the enhanced visuals and minor additions in Condition Zero, it's worth giving it a try. However, I can't recommend Counter-Strike: Condition Zero - Deleted Scenes as it fails to deliver a satisfying single-player campaign. For those seeking the true essence of Counter-Strike, the original remains the top choice.    … Expand

    It has a campaign but it is very short and the corpses disappear which makes the experience not so realistic. I wish CS go had a campaign

    Она и сейчас играется неплохо. Разве что противники стреляют в голову как только выйдешь за угол.

    Превратить каеску из мультика в сингликуе было неплохой идеей но что-то у разрабов пошло не так очевидно

    Pretty decent game.

    Good gameplay, graphics, decent Singleplayer with bots and absolutely fantastic Deleted Scenes campaign, it's not perfect for sure, but i had fun with it. It is definetly worth picking up even to only play the singleplayer.

    Tour of Duty is perfect in every way (except for Airstrip and Torn) but Deleted Scenes is so garbage that I cannot give this anything higher than 6.

    It was best CS game when I were. Graphics were good for time. Gaming design were well. Maybe there were stabilization problems about multiplayer but only that.

    Considerando que salio en 2004, los graficos no envejecieron muy bien al igual que la jugabilidad ya que no se puede apuntar con el arma, teniendo que recurrir a la misma tecnica de disparar en **** que en el anterior Counter Strike. Y si bien añade "una especie de modo historia", no vale la pena pasar por caja por el mismo juego dos veces. Y los problemas con las skins siguen estando, asiConsiderando que salio en 2004, los graficos no envejecieron muy bien al igual que la jugabilidad ya que no se puede apuntar con el arma, teniendo que recurrir a la misma tecnica de disparar en **** que en el anterior Counter Strike.     This is the best Counter-Strike game so far. I believe it's the only one with singleplayer mode and with fun challenges, like kill an enemy with the knife and survive the round. Great maps. Hours of fun over and over again. Awesome teammates...well sometimes they can be annoying, but I guess that's just part of the game, great and annoying moments. A lot of weapons to choose from.     Condition Zero is a dark horse of the franchise. It is not a very innovative game, graphics are average (especially compare to CS Source, which was released shortly after), and shooting mechanics don't change that much from 1.6., but this is the best part of the series if you want singleplayer experience. This was essentially a single player DLC for Counter: Strike but the AI was terrible.     The Graphics were pretty bad but I wasn't expecting any better out of a game this old. The game play was terrible. This was essentially a single player DLC for Counter: Strike but the AI was terrible. Sometimes a bot would stand in front of another bot and not even shoot for multiple seconds, despite both of the bots being completely still. I did not have any fun with this game

    the best game in the W0RLD, ok no its a joke cs is worst but csgo is best!!! ;D hmmmm cs or counter strike is from 2000 / 2004 and grapichs is terrible :C csgo or counter strike global offensive is much beter because is more new :p

    Altamente innecesario. Si este juego dejará de existir, dudo que alguien se de cuenta. La saga pasa del CS 1.6 al CS Source, y Condition Zero queda perdido en grandes títulos.

    In 2017 I played CS CZ cause I had **** PC for a while and was bored on evening. So now, in 2017 this game feels like it was published in 98-2000. I have no bad feelings while playing because it's not the same year when CS S and other great games was released. Just played good old game.     Первая попытка Valve поставить некогда бесплатное дополнение к оригинальной Half-Life на коммерческие рельсы. Сделанное чужими людьми и из рук вон плохо.
    По сути это CS 1.6 с подтянутыми текстурами и улучшенными моделями. Поскольку создать свой собственный сервер с ботами и настраивать их как заблагорассудится - стало не комильфо, то главное что отличает игру от    Эксперимент в серии CS?!
    Первая попытка Valve поставить некогда бесплатное дополнение к оригинальной Half-Life на коммерческие рельсы. Сделанное чужими людьми и из рук вон плохо.
    По сути это CS 1.6 с подтянутыми текстурами и улучшенными моделями. Поскольку создать свой собственный сервер с ботами и настраивать их как заблагорассудится - стало не комильфо, то главное что отличает игру от предшественницы это однопользовательская часть, выполненная в лучших традициях третьей кваки, т.е. просто мультиплеерные карты с ботами. Причем политкорректно разрешающее играть исключительно за контров, разбавленное типо тактическим подбором команды и заданиями в духе "зарежь пять террористов с ножа за 45 секунд". А также абсолютный трэшак под видом компании из Deleted Scenes... Вместо того что бы порадовать игроков перестрелками в духе Солдат Удачи, в CS CZ DS за нами с первых же минут гоняются местные моджахеды с ятаганами наперевес, у которых даже пути преследования цели нормально не прописаны, они с легкостью могут оббежать все окрестности максимально убогих по дизайну уровней, а затем уткнуться в стену и бежать в нее... если бы это была шутка, то она определенно бы удалась.

    I think this game was another version of Counter Strike 1.6 . He was some "Missions", because i can't name this campaign a missions, and have some updates on maps, models and everything.

    This is the most underrated counter-strike game there is. I don't think a game should be rated badly because of people being over hyped, which is what most of these reviews are. Basically, this game is just Counter-Strike 1.6, but single player. This is great because all of the Counter-Strike 1.6 servers are dead.     Благодаря синглу игра ещё долго не устареет в отличии от 1.6.
    Компания получилась атмосферная, разнообразная, в меру хардкорная, даже стелс есть!
    По сети же не поиграть, да и пофиг. Найдя 1 единственный сервер с 1 человеком, который просто стоял афк, практически никаких отличий от 1.6 я не заметил,кроме чуточку подтянутой графики. Вообщем сингл жив,что хорошо,а сетевая    Благодаря синглу игра ещё долго не устареет в отличии от 1.6.

    I can understand why Deleted Scenes was hated, mainly because of two major flaws, the slow responsive AI which is derivated directly from Half-Life's HECU Marines with clunky movements and firing mechanics which made the game unfairly easy, and the lack of a solid storyline, all of the missions doesn't connect each other, another flaw which I consider minor is the wrong placement of theI can understand why Deleted Scenes was hated, mainly because of two major flaws, the slow responsive AI which is derivated directly from Half-Life's HECU Marines with clunky movements and firing mechanics which made the game unfairly easy, and the lack of a solid storyline, all of the missions doesn't connect each other, another flaw which I consider minor is the wrong placement of the missions in the world map.

    But Condition Zero Multiplayer Arc was hated mainly because of the weapon nerfing which I don't see it as something really bad, Condition Zero nerfed many weapons, and nerfed the Shield which in 1.6 was pretty hard to kill someone who was using it, I don't see anything bad with Source-like gameplay mechanics, however, another flaw from Condition Zero was the graphics, Ritual Entertainment did little to improve the graphics mainly because of GoldSource limits but the graphics weren't that bad in 2004.

    Condition Zero had a lot to offer in it's beta version, but many of the ideas were discarded or skipped due to the lack of time to implement it, ending in a polished Counter-Strike 1.6 with better graphics, animations and models, but with little innovation, a strong point of CS: Condition Zero is it's soundtrack which is composed by Zak Bellica, I find it very motivating.    … Expand

    The problem is that neither the physics nor the graphics have aged particularly well; if you're looking for a next-gen FPS, this is not it. It is, however, a decent update to one of the best titles of yesterday. [Apr 2004, p.108]

    Counter-Strike: Condition Zero only gets its score because of the multiplayer, and if you’re after this for anything other than a visual tweak and a disc filled with Half-Life 2 videos, you’d be best off not bothering at all.
