    I loved cossacks 1 but this remake is really big piece of s**t. There is only new and unoptimalised graphics game contains all flaws from cossacks 1 and adds few more. Ai is catastrophic, game is full of bugs. If you love cossacks stay with cossacks1.

    Just Cossacks 1 with average quality 3d models, everything else looks just like in the 90s. That's not enough for decent remake. Totally not worth its money

    Game is client-side in MP, meaning you can edit all units to cost 0 and it works in MP, so -10/10, complete **** up. This is worse then amateurish programming.

    Terrible, terrible optimisation for that pretty bad graphic (worst than 8-years old Red Alert 3). Bad AI compare to ANY Total war game. I recommend that game only if you want some nostalgic feelings if you play Cossacks 2 back in the 2005. IgorDyx said that it's a remake, but it's not. And Starcraft 2 compare to Starcraft made a big leap not only in a graphics but in a gameplay and story.Terrible, terrible optimisation for that pretty bad graphic (worst than 8-years old Red Alert 3).     This game rather looks like it belong to the year 2005 than 2016. The worst thing is the static vegetation - totally ruins the atmosphere for me. Water looks like something from the original Age of Empires from 90s. I lost most of my interest during the first 5 minutes in the game just because of the way it looks.

    Low budget bugged poor looking crap from the unperceptive eastern european developer.

    Better play Age of Empires III. In any case AOE III much better choice that THIS and quite same price.

    tbh pretty good, i'm super happy that all they did was revamp cossacks 1 , cossacks 2 was a failure. nothing was wrong with the old game. Devs needa learn from this more. "if it ain't broke, just optimise it." Addictive on LAN. Love the Unlimited popcap unlike many other RTS games today. The free form wall building is also fun to build cities.     this game is so awesome, because it is... я бл не знаю как на английском написать, поэтому скажу, что игра интересная, увлекательная, багов нет, графон сойдёт, в конце концов вы же не ожидали уровень графики скажем рдр2, так что вот.

    Cossacks 3 game. Actually, Cossacks 1 a bad remaster.

    Graphics belongs to 2005, gameplay belongs to 1998, overall quality belongs to 310 BC.

    ... I can't recommend this bullsh*t, unless you've spend the last 17 years in stasis.

    Графика - убогая где то год 2005 но помноженый на безмозглость разрабов.
    Интерфейс - Делал явный недроброжелатель разрабов. Сказать что он убогий это не сказать ничего. Игровая Механика - Ну она гдето между редактором игровых уровней и словом "убого".    Кто хотел купить и познать все прелести БДСМ уже купил, кто еще не купил - приберегите свои деньги для более достойных игр. Итак.

    Disaster game.

    Stay away from this ugly piece of code. It's nothing more than low budget audiovisual mess with bag of stupidest bugs. Awful animations, some units have no animations at all, the most stupidest AI for last decade, terrible 2D environment, terrible sound effects, not working formations, sprite effects of fire and explosions, crashing MP, no ranked system in MP, etc, etc, etc...

    Очередной пример неуважения разработчиков к покупателям. Перенесли релиз из за бага в мультиплеере, но на релизе отключить его. На выходе получили сырой продукт с огромным количеством багов, проблемами оптимизации и даже активными читами в мультиплеере используемыми для тестов при разработке. При том что это не новая игра, это те самые первые казаки только с немного улучшенной графикой,Очередной пример неуважения разработчиков к покупателям. На выходе получили сырой продукт с огромным количеством багов, проблемами оптимизации и даже активными читами в мультиплеере используемыми для тестов при разработке. При том что это не новая игра, это те самые первые казаки только с немного улучшенной графикой, ее даже ремейком сложно назвать, скорее Remastered за который просят денег как за новую игру. Это позор для GSC Game World сделать игру которая не только сохранила все проблемы оригинала, так еще и добавить новые. Единственное из-за чего игра не упала на дно, так это фанаты которые теперь пускают слюни в надежде на Сталкер 2.… Expand

Really, this game has nothing by comparison with 17 years old Cossacks 1 but it looks even worse! Don't look at advertising screenshots and teaser videos - they lie! the game looks terrible, it can even damage your computer! My computer showed me blue screen and reboots few times!     The "Coksacks 3" dev team charging actual money for this software in it's present state should be ashamed to release this technical atrocity. Does this game need to run in Windows 95 compatability mode?!?!?
    Absolutely the same game that 20 years ago but too buggy and crappy.

    I can't advise anyone to buy this game. After 15 years nothing changed, except graphics (bull*hit).
    Poor campaning quests, AI in skirmish mode so weak (moves units from his base to yours through direct line)
    So, you want to pay 12$ for distorted nostalgie?

    Graphic, campaign are terrible! I thought they used a newest Game Engine but they didn't. Why don't they make a brand new Cossacks instead of remake and name as COSSACKS 3. LoL!

    Devs, write games for current time, not for 2007. its not classic, its trash.

    -Not complicated and still complex(fighting and economy tutorial in less than one hour, extremely strategical fights still possible) -Simple controls(almost everything with just the mouse) -Extremely low price -Not a lot of AI in individual troops, you actually have to think about strategic combat yourself -No complicated economy Neutral:    Positive:
    -Old strategy game vibe
    -Not complicated and still complex(fighting and economy tutorial in less than one hour, extremely strategical fights still possible)
    -Simple controls(almost everything with just the mouse)
    -Extremely low price
    -Not a lot of AI in individual troops, you actually have to think about strategic combat yourself
    -No complicated economy

    Neutral:
    -Graphics(It's not bad but nothing good either)
    -Music(I just don't like it myself so I listen to my own music)

    Negative:
    -Bugs
    -No way to change controls?!
    -Enemy AI is stupid(it's about multiplayer anyway)

    Conclusion:
    In the end one thing is important and it is: Is it worth the money? And yes, it's a lot of fun even though it has some flaws. Overall it isn't perfect but it doesn't need to be. Remember Settlers 5 for example? Settlers 5 had a ton of flaws and still was a lot of fun which made it IMO the best strategy game I ever played.    … Expand

    Do not be fooled, it is not a stand alone game. More like a remake of the firs Cossaks. I got this game as a present from my girlfriend, but i was very dissappointed. Why? Bellow are pros and cons.

    It doesn't seem like a good reboot, remake or whatever. It seems like they took Cossacks 1 and made it compatible with newer operating systems adding more resolution options as a bonus. If you are a big fan of Cossacks than this game is a good and easy way to play it once more, but for someone that never played Cossacks and thought this game would be a great way to get to know with theIt doesn't seem like a good reboot, remake or whatever.     If you like the old cossacks thhis game is the same and is awesome. If you need best graphics for enjoy the games this is not your game. If you like games like cossacks europena wars you will enjoy the game.

    Не треба буде звикати, тому що ігрова механіка точно така ж, як раніше. Людина сідає і одразу починає грати. Всі гарячі клавіші, що, як і де будувати і виробляти – теж збігається

You can Attack straight away, or use this P.T. to build a massive economy and massive force and fight a battle that can last for hours, blasting away at 3000-4000 enemy units with carefully handled Cannons. There is no other game out there where you can feel that much like an army commander and in control. If your battles are short, then you just haven't found your match. NO, not a "no artillery" game where you both just camp on a hill with your gunners, but skillful positioning and use of Cannons to take that hill, climb over it, and close in on the enemy's base.… Expand

    Лучшая игра последних лет для меня! очень давно не выходило ни одной хоть немного годной стратегии, а это - то, чего реально хотелось. сначала было многовато багов, но их за пару недель подчистили. Вообще не понимаю людей, которые поставили плохие оценки, кто сомневается - посмотрите стримы, там все понятно сразу и тут же захочется играть)Лучшая игра последних лет для меня! очень давно не выходило ни одной хоть немного годной стратегии, а это - то, чего реально хотелось. сначала было многовато багов, но их за пару недель подчистили.     Childhood fairy-tale might not return, but some popular games may even in their full glory. Unfortunately, also with issues in the game's unpolished code, dysbalanced units balance and half-breed campaign.

    In my opinion only masochists could possibly enjoy this game with its horrible AI, annoying micromanagement, chaotic battles and absurd difficulty level. [12/2016, p.60]

    An old game that seems proud of it, with an old school real time strategy gameplay that will appeal to fans of the genre and a high difficulty that makes it a title for seasoned users.
