Oct 16, 2019Best experience in RTX.
Good action, good story, good game!!!
Thanks Remedi -
Sep 10, 2019This game is between 8 to 9-ish, 8.5 maybe max. If you're a simple dude / dudette who's simple and doesn't really mind playing bland games, this game is good at best. I just gave it a 10 because I can run it on my immortal gtx 750 ti on low preset with textures cranked up at high on my fricking tv. Can run this in static 30 fps at either 900p or 720p. Still better than playing on my ps4.

Feb 8, 2020The developers of Alan Wake once again surprised me with another masterpiece. Thanks. Love the weird story and awesome gameplay, but I really dislike the overly maze-like map.

Dec 11, 2020Take Control!
My Game of the Year (2020, I´m late to the Party).
I came for the graphics, had to try out my new RTX Card.
But I stayed for the fun gameplay, the "X-Files" vibe atmosphere and I completely lost it when Ahti gave me his Walkman. Take Control! -
May 1, 2020Old-school gaming at its finest, Remedy does not disappoint. I wish Resident Evil 3 remake was done by them, it woud have been so much better.

Mar 21, 2020I played control because I got it on a sale. I wanted to play it since it was from the developers of Alan Wake, one of my favorite games for the Xbox 360. I was not disappointed, the game has a great story and characters since the beginning. It is a must have if you like Action Horror games.

Dec 18, 2020Amazing game, mechanics, dificulty, story and characters. It reminds me to the times of Max Paine. that history captures you till the end of the game. a MASTERPIECE. Amazing JOB REMEDY!

Jul 29, 2020This is the closest I've come to the feeling of playing a next-gen videogame, Remedy never disappoints.
Took about 18 hours to beat the amazing story but took a break before starting The Foundation DLC.
(The ending kinda sucks though) -

Dec 11, 2020One of the most solid games of last years. Story, actors, gameplay, setting, all is on high level. Also, it has a lot of Alan Wake connections.
-
Sep 9, 2019I'm so unsatisfied by the ending. It literally doesn't even tell you if these are just dreams or are they real. I hope there would be a second version.

Nov 3, 2020An extremely convoluted story presented slowly paced but very beautiful for the eyes. Repetitive, and frankly, fairly poor game mechanics.
-
Nov 5, 2019I'll set 4/10 because of Remedy and Sam Lake. This game should have 1/10.
Awful face animation (do you remember Andromeda? ), boring characters, quests, and looks like Remedy was bitten by SJW. -

Jan 19, 2020Best Remedy title so far. Everything was amazing, from the combat to the jaw dropping visuals and narrative. I wish games like this got more attention instead of reboots and crappy sequels. Control > COD
-
Dec 10, 2019One of the best games I've ever played. There is a problem with navigation, though (map helps a bit but not really). Optimization could be better. Levitation comes after you completed 2/3 of entire main-campaign (so it's minus). But overall mostly positive impressions
-
Apr 13, 2020I absolutely loved Control. Spectacular original experience. The definition of "fun to play" game. Stunning graphics, in my case with Ray Tracing on the experience was jaw-dropping. The story was strange and sometimes hard to understand but that's what made me love it. For me easily the game of the year. Well done Remedy!

Feb 22, 2020Brilliant, really enjoyed this game. Fun gameplay, an amazingly well-thought narrative, lots of opportunity to roam and explore.
-
Feb 1, 2020Very good and deep story, awesome destructions and action. Must-play for SCP foundation fans btw. Enjoyed it on 2080 with raytracing. Tip: medium preset and high makes almost no difference but big perfomance improvement
-
Feb 12, 2020Really loved the smooth gameplay that is so much fun. Sadly very repetitive and enemy variety is missing. Bosses are meh but story is pure remedy I liked it.
-
Feb 13, 2020A breath of a fresh air game to play, with a nice combat system, especially later in the game naturally.
The story is good and it has good weird characters. This is a game you should try to play not only the story quest but also the side quest or you just miss almost half of the quality that control has to offer, including some of the better boss fights! -
Dec 15, 2020That was awesome.
Loved every minute of it. The Ultimate Edition refines the game and every part is perfectly weighted. Recent AAA releases really shows just how unrated Control is. Thanks Remedy et al -

May 23, 2020Very disappointing. Extremely repetitive and boring.
RTX effects quickly becomes meaningless in a bland environment which is same everywhere.
Firing at very similar soulless enemies all the time using the same gun.
Same environment everywhere, same enemies, same gun, meaningless story. -
Apr 21, 2020Very nice game with difficult to understand the story but when you do it become very interesting, about gameplay i can tell that some boses is difficult to defeat because of not simple mechanic of the game.
-
May 21, 2021Cool concepts and good written story. I like main hero, but it is not clear why she talks to herself so much.

Jun 24, 2020Control is a very weird game that delivers amazing visuals, incredible world building and a unique story alongside great third-person action gameplay.
-
Sep 13, 2020Very high quality action game. Unique story and excellent game mechanics. Beautiful graphics! PC with RTX on is just pure candy for your eyes! i rly like this game
-
Aug 18, 2020I love sci-fi to begin with. And the game have some really nice graphics and physics. But that´s about it. You have no ideia whats the story, what´s going on and what happens at the end. Sad.

Sep 2, 2020Great story, good shooting mechanics, awesome destructable environment. If you have a decent pc with a RTX video card, this game is beautiful.

May 13, 2022control sucked because one didn’t know where to go and the gunplay was terrible. enemies took far too many bullets relative to magazine size. the story was confusing too. It made me think "what is this game about"

Feb 19, 2023Unplayable. Every 4-6 seconds its drops to 1 fps for about 2 seconds. Tried every different sort of setting possible, its even doing it in the main menu. Only game that i own that is doing this. Im on a multi thousand dollar new PC as well with everything up to date. Please fix, i feel like this would be a 8-9 game easy if i could actually play it.

Jan 5, 2022The gameplay is really boring after a few hours as it gets repetitive pretty easily because of overwhelming backtracking. Too bad, as the idea behind the game is quite interesting.
-
Mar 16, 2022Show up late to the show, but this game is really good. Now I understand why people were giving it GOTY vibes for it. Some of the levels were above and beyond anything I had played before. Hopefully more the same comes from future development from Remedy.

Jan 23, 2021This is the only game in par with STALKER in term of... well everything. The infrastructure is so beautiful,, the missions are thrilling,, the super powers give you the possibility of playing the game with almost complete flexibility and the story is engaging to the point that I read all the documents.

Jun 17, 2021This game is bad, very bad. The only good thing is graphics, all other elements are terrible:
-Story is terrible
-gunfights are chaotic and not interesting
-character is totally flat and not existent
-setting does not make any sense and it doesn't even look cool
-most of the time you don't know where to go
-anything you can think of that it's not graphic is bad -

Apr 25, 2021High level production resulting in a vaguely interesting combat system... and a story and ambience that tries very much to be something, but is really just a generic shooter with a poor plot trying to justify whatever.
I'm not even sure there was a good idea there at some stage. -

Sep 14, 2021I really wanted to give this game a higher rating as it's so much fun to play...when it actually works. Unfortunately it rarely works. It either won't let you past the title screen or it crashes whilst loading / saving. I did try and stick with it but it just got too frustrating so didn't finish and uninstalled.
-
Sep 23, 2022Fun exciting game, but the ending got a bit repetitive. The graphics were amazing but the story was just a bit too obscure for me.

Jun 17, 2021Very annoying map, the story is hampered so much by not being able to find were to go making what should be fun frustrating and a overall average experience.
Like a nice park and good weather and a icecream but you got something sharp in your shoe and it stops you from smelling the flowers and having a good time. -
Feb 10, 2021Good gameplay, descent graphics, terrible map and a somewhsat interesting but too convoluted story. Still a good shooter.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 28, 2020An audio-visual action banquet that will entertain you with physics and flirting with the supernatural. The story could have been better, the enemy line-up can be quite monotonous towards the end, but the great atmosphere overcomes these shortcomings. And most importantly, the gameplay is great.
