    Amazing game. Great graphics on my RTX gpu. Insane gameplay, world, setting, story. WIsh the edning was more conclusive.

    TLDR: A thrill ride of a game that I found very compelling. 8/10

    At first, I did not like Control. I’m the kind of gamer who stays away from anything remotely horror-adjacent because I’m a whimp. The scariest games I’ve ever played were probably Metro 2033 and the original Bioshock, to give you an idea of my scale. So, why did I even try Control? Because I’m a huge SCP fan, and I    TLDR: A thrill ride of a game that I found very compelling. 8/10

    At first, I did not like Control. I’m the kind of gamer who stays away from anything remotely horror-adjacent because I’m a whimp. The scariest games I’ve ever played were probably Metro 2033 and the original Bioshock, to give you an idea of my scale.

    So, why did I even try Control? Because I’m a huge SCP fan, and I kept hearing that Control was “SCP: The Unofficial Video Game.” So I hesitantly downloaded the game and tried to give it a fair shot.

    At first, I did not like Control, but I soon learned to love it. It certainly had its flaws, but I found the game hard to put down, and hard to stop thinking about in my spare time. I’m sure the game will live in my brain rent-free for a very long time.

    The game is definitely SCP: The Unofficial Video Game, and it does its job well, which is the game’s greatest positive for me. The story, the environments, the ambiance, and the collectibles all weave a paranatural world of both curiosities and terrors, and it’s yours to explore. I could not have asked for more.

    I also started playing the game because I had been itching to play a decent shooter, and, while it didn’t disappoint there, it also didn’t deliver exactly what I expected, as someone who has almost a thousand hours of CSGO in my backlog. The gunplay is fun, but it’s not the highlight of combat, and I never felt like my FPS skills tipped the outcome of an encounter in my favor. The combat in Control relies more on your paranatural powers than your ability to click on enemies’ heads, and it was a lot of fun.

    However, Control isn’t without flaws. The game had occasional performance issues for me before I tweaked the settings to perfection, which most people won’t do. Some enemies were overly frustrating because they either had no obvious way to reliably damage them, they output huge bursts of damage that you’re not prepared for, or a little of both. The timed missions were a flavor win, but a huge fail in execution, and I did two or three before deciding they weren’t worth my time. All of the firearms have an accuracy range regardless of your motion, so I could have my cursor right on an enemy’s head and still miss, which was frustrating to me.

    While not perfect, Control is a game that I would recommend without hesitation. I had a ton of fun with it, and I can’t wait to continue finishing all the side quests and exploring the DLC.    … Expand

    Masterpiece game. The story is so enjoyable, scoring is really great, visual is decent, and the voice is stunning

    Loved this game. The combat is so satisfying. I did not understand the plot completely but I had a hunch of what was going on throughout the game. The dash and the levitate mechanics were a breath of fresh air. The combat felt very similar to Doom Eternal but better in every way. Looking forward to playing the DLCs

I cant imagine how decent games like this became target to blame for **** It seems like detailed manual (2h intro cuscene with qte or character creation and lore readings) were needed for some people to understand plot of "such complexity". If you are looking for mystical vibe, unusual setting and locations design in a video game (rare modern 3d metroidvania representative of action games) classically balanced in terms of time of gunfights/exploration/plot you definitly should check it out. It truly feels that genuine artisits directed creation of uniform visual style and music, and as usual for Remedy Same Lake and writers have created mysterious and graceful story. Wish lot more games had such identity like Remedy games do.… Expand

Sobald man den Sektoren-Fahrstuhl gefunden hat legt sich das aber ein für alle Mal.     Aber auch irgendwie geil, man fragt sich was da eigentlich ab geht und durchquert trotzdem gerne jeden weiteren Raum, ballert die Gegner ab, bewegt sich stylisch durch den Bereich und kommt irgendwann ans Missionsziel.

    actually one of the best games that i have ever played, the huge respect for gameplay( its unbelieveble). amazing story and final. im sitting and juust cant believe in all of this. if u want to take all enjoy of the game u need to deep in the story and read, listen< watch all of content in the game. imho 8.5/10

    I just started playing but I'm instantly a fan. Great narrative and storytelling, unique level design and beautiful graphics. I can recommend this to everyone (for me it's better than Prey)

    Joguei a versão q tava no gamepass pc e tava injogavel, dai fui jogar a versão gog e o jogo esta muito bem otimizado.
    A fisica do jogo é uma das melhores que já vi.
    História maluca, igual death strading ou quantum break. A levitação ou o voo é o melhor que já vi, perfeito. DLCs boas, umas delas é o cross over com o Alan Wake. A missão do labirinto é foda.     A very interesting world built here. A world built entirely in one singular building. This game was always interesting. The gameplay was very interesting and the narrative kept me interested. This has fun gameplay with special powers and fun guns. I definitely see my self coming back for a second playthrough down the road.

    Show up late to the show, but this game is really good. Now I understand why people were giving it GOTY vibes for it. Some of the levels were above and beyond anything I had played before. Hopefully more the same comes from future development from Remedy.

    I love it!, The graphics are brilliant the design it brilliant. Good soundtrack even if there is not so many songs. And so different and creative! Raytracing is just perfectly done here.

    The Ashtray Maze is my best gaming experence in year. Control's gameplay is amazing & outstanding. I feel freedom while using the power, feel like a boss!

    Jestem bardzo wybredny i wiele gier odpada bo mnie po prostu nudzi. Control jednak zainteresował mnie od pierwszego momentu i wciagnął tak , że przeszedłem grę po minimum dwa razy na każdej platformie na jakiej wyszedł (czyli wiele razy wpliczajac PS4, xos, XSX, PC-Steam-Epic-GOG-GFN. Trzy miesiace tylko tej gry plus wiele godzin z dodatkami.
    Interesujaca tajemnicza historia jak w    Jestem bardzo wybredny i wiele gier odpada bo mnie po prostu nudzi. Control jednak zainteresował mnie od pierwszego momentu i wciagnął tak , że przeszedłem grę po minimum dwa razy na każdej platformie na jakiej wyszedł (czyli wiele razy wpliczajac PS4, xos, XSX, PC-Steam-Epic-GOG-GFN. Trzy miesiace tylko tej gry plus wiele godzin z dodatkami.
    Interesujaca tajemnicza historia jak w Archiwum x, Fringe czy Debris. Do tego świetne efekty cząsteczkowe i bardzo satysfakcjonująca walka. Na minus powtarzalni przeciwnicy i bossowie. Ale to nic . Drugi być moze minus to błedy na start gry i dosyć długo kazali czekać na poprawki ale nic tak uciażliwego jak w CP2077 czy Outriders.

    Amazing game with a really good storyline and amazing graphics. The graphics are so good that i can't even play it on my laptop. I have to play it in Nvidia GeForce now. That doesn't matter though and if anything is a compliment on the graphics

    Overall 9/10, really enjoyed and you would like it if your into the scp community (which it's based off of)

    The gameplay is very fun and good. The graphics and particle effects are great. Normally, these kinds of stories don't interest me, but I was drawn to Control's story. Venues are also good.

    An audio-visual action banquet that will entertain you with physics and flirting with the supernatural. The story could have been better, the enemy line-up can be quite monotonous towards the end, but the great atmosphere overcomes these shortcomings. And most importantly, the gameplay is great. [Issue#298]
