    For the $15 I paid, the game was well worth it. Love the gameplay, and the art is really pretty. Characters felt fresh in their stereotypes (the plucky, cute urban-planner, the sportsfan, the army soldier, the (French?) nerd, the deadbeat politician).

    You can tell the dev put a lot of love into this game, and I was really absorbed with the visuals. The art is really, really strong.    For the $15 I paid, the game was well worth it.     There exists some limited deck-management, but only for your starting buildings. I would have liked to have the ability to customize my entire deck, but that's a minor preference.

    I really enjoyed the first few hours of the campaign. But I really, like really dislike the versus mode and its difficulty. It doesn't feel difficult in a traditional way and rather unfair. This pretty much ruined the great potential this game had for me personally. The solo mode feels great and I would recommend this to everybody who enjoys logic puzzles, but the campaign is poorlyI really enjoyed the first few hours of the campaign. If you're hoping for an enjoyable, relaxing puzzles based on logic, turn back now before it's too late. The first few levels lure you in with pleasant, appealing game design with an interesting take on city-building/puzzle-busting.

    The developers neglected to add a simple, single-player campaign, which would have made Concrete Jungle a solid title for all puzzle-lovers to pick up. Instead, you are roadblocked from advancing by unbeatable, cheating AI opponents. The game slows down to a slog as you're forced (as in you're stuck at the start of the campaign and cannot unlock new content) to roll a six-sided die and if you happen to roll a 6, great! You get the content you paid for. If you roll 1-5? Oh darn, the AI automatically wins the game and you have to try again!

    The developers held a glinting gold nugget in their hand for a few moments before dropping it down into a mucky, feces-filled well. Oops! Unless you want to get your hands dirty, steer clear and don't waste your hard-earned money on this overwhelming disappointment.    … Expand

    Concrete Jungle is solid in its execution, especially considering the apparent mismatch of genres at play. There’s a lot here for those who love unique strategic play. The amount of content and available randomly-generated maps certainly helps fill out its total content. It may not do enough to draw in those who aren’t already strategy fans, but it’s a great pick-up for those who are.

    Concrete Jungle has a very nice look, the interface works well, you can control the game with mouse/keyboard or with a game-pad.
