Poor man's "They Are Billions" with day 1 DLC to boot. Although the game itself is entertaining, you're still better off with TAB for now. Wait for sale.

Old dated graphics looks like a game that was made in 2004 and doesn't have any campaign mode and of course the Denuvo garbage (The DRM of greedy awful companies). CU is not a bad strategy - tower defend game, but it's not good enough.
    - The game developers are stupid, they made a terrible autosave option which interupts any player actions/commands and unable to turn off.
    - The "Battle Standard" building is also stupid. Instead of expand a square area, it just makes a haft/quarter of a round area. It could be better if they made this thing work

    - They should make "Upgrading icons" at the top of the buildings visible whether the match is pausing or not.
    - I don't know if this is a bug or not. After placing some building in Green Area in Game Pause, only few buildings were contructing and most of other building weren't. It's like they limit the amount of buidling to build in Game Pause.

Conan game titles is one of the worst RPG and Tower Denfend that were made.

Conan Unconquered is a good game that has a lot going for it that has been a slow burn for me.

My first 5+ hours into Conan I would say were average at best. The game did not hook me and honestly does not do a good job in teaching you the game mechanics. However, once you push through that point, I think you will find the game very entertaining and I quite like the challenge it

The Good: In-Depth Skill tree, music, sound and gameplay that features co-op play.
The Bad: No campaign or story, complicated skill tree, takes longer than normal to figure this game out.

Most people who put in too little time I could see walking away unimpressed. However just like anything, once you start to do something well, that's when things get fun and Conan Unconquered is no different.

    Brilliant game!

+ The music sets the comfortable Conan wibe. + First time trying the game I thought it was kind of easy... until wave 16! So easy to learn and hard to master. + Instruction in the game are simple and easy to understand and gets me up and running. + With all the waves you are constantly under pressure, and if you are ahead you can scout and level your hero on the map.

They tend to make decent games but the funcom support is horrible (I'm literally waiting since 2017 to get someone to properly handle an issue which makes them the worst company I have ever dealt with).

The latest drawn-from-a-hat game Funcom has made in attempt to cross two niche demographics. Sometime last decade they gained the video game rights to the Conan IP and since have made a MMO that melts your graphics card (currently played by a classroom full of people), an ARK clone with dwindling playership and bugs that have persisted for years, and this "They Are Billions" clone. In disbelief that a pulp franchise about a muscular barbarian that explores tombs and steals from the rich in an inherently amoral society might not be adaptable to a tower-defence-style game, Funcom has recently put the game on sale, making a bully profit of perhaps 1,000 or 2,000 USD in the process. It's unknown why they decided to release the game in its original buggy state, much less why they conceived of it in the first place, other than to perhaps report a loss to the Norwegian government.

Next up in this series is a Conan game by the developers of Shopkins, blatantly ripping off the art style of Cyanide & Happiness in a top-down dungeon crawler reminiscent of Gauntlet. For some reason they've delayed the game by 6 months, imagining feverishly that the 3 extra people this will attract to the game will be worth payrolling an Australian studio for another half year, while using Conan Unconquered as an excuse to scale back development on a single-player Conan RPG (i.e. the only use of Conan that actually makes sense).

After this game, called Conan Chop Chop, fails, Funcom will re-assess their Conan line and decide that they will not be doing a Conan single-player game after all, especially since playership for Conan Exiles will have dropped yet further to the 6,000-7,000 range at that point, with a player exodus due to people not finding inherent entertainment value in Minecraft blocks and Dark Souls armors being added to the game when there still aren't mounts, sorcery, interesting combat, or bodies that stay in place instead of disappearing into the aether.

This is basically the death knell for Petroglyph, a company that was not selected by the ravages of time for greatness, as their ripoff of Dune 2 (during the Westwood days) was never quite as successful as Blizzard's ripoff of Dune 2. Similarly, their ripoff of They Are Billions is not doing terribly well either.

My recommendation is that if you want to infect your computer with spyware, download this game on a free weekend, get bored, and never think of it again. Otherwise, don't bother thinking of it in the first place.

This game is awesome and very beautiful crap! That's my opinion. Very poor graphics on GTX 2080 Ti, looks like the game from the past, whole screen is milky. Sound and music are terrible. The environment in the game is not worth a penny. I do not advise anyone who has a brain, to buy this crap game.

It has a promising tactical approach, and I like the Conan franchise. But the game really not enough content, not enough work done for good player experience and on top, the marketing department made some bad decisions with the Day 1 DLC hiding away some of the very rare content, so the game gets even thinner.

Conan Unconquered is too empty and lifeless, not to mention unoriginal. It feels like a mod rather than a full-fledged game from an experienced studio.

Overall… it’s fun, but does get frustrating on the later levels… the fact you can’t save your game to try a configuration and then reload if it didn’t quite work simply adds to that frustration. At the current price tag I think it might be a little much… but there is a bit of value in the unlockable comic pages and the ability to play through as a couple of other characters is nice. Perhaps wait for a sale unless you happen to really like tower defense style gaming.

Conan Unconqured is a survival RTS Tower defense set in the world of Conan the Barbarian. This spin-off certainly tries to appeal RTS lovers, but despite some smart and original ideas, the game lacks depth and becomes boring after a few hours, also due to the absence of competitive multiplayer both offline and online. Co-op multiplayer is good but definitely not enough to keep the game standing among giants of the RTS genre.
