    After the success achieved by The Orange Box, every series tried to do the same with its own collection. Unfortunately, not all games are as good as Half-Life. We can say the same about Command & Conquer. The series is awesome but this ultimate collection doesn't offer any real reason to buy it. No extras, no more content, not even a decent emulation on the modern OS. Only for real fans of the series.

    Being a diehard C&C fan I am going to love this collection no matter what. I will say that the collection has worked out some kinks with older games on newer OSs (Vista/7), but there are a few things that are irritating. The OST you get doesn't have every C&C song, the ones they give you are great, but you should get them all. Another thing is that some of the older games seem to have a scroll speed issue, like a flick of the mouse will send me across the map. Another irritating thing I noticed is that the Covert Operations doesn't have the extra tracks that originally came with it back in the day. C&C Ultimate collection is great for die-hard C&C fan-boys like me, but other than that, not really worth the buy.… Full Review »

    That said, this game is simply miss-sold. It is sold as "Updated to run on Windows 7+". I am using Windows 7.

    Not tried any of the others yet, but I am sure the later ones will be fine.

    However I bought an updated version of the game because I wanted to play the games without faffing. Instead, I paid money for the majority of a collection I already own and will have to mess around with game files to get them working again anyway. If at all possible...

    This should not be required on a game that's apparently been updated...

    So the review is not for the games themselves... It's for this shoddy release of it and the lies written on the packaging.    … Full Review »

    At first it worked 100%. Now, on Windows 8.1, Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge, Generals, Zero Hour, Tiberium Sun, and FIrestorm won't work. PLEASEAt first it worked 100%.
