The story is told through a new set of high-definition live action video sequences starring a celebrity cast. Joe Kucan, the original actor who portrayed the character Kane in Command & Conquer games over the last decade, reprises his role as the megalomaniacal leader of the Brotherhood of Nod. Kane's Wrath also features a new strategic layer to gameplay that allows players to establish bases, build customized armies, and attack their enemies on a global scale – and then dive into the frenzied tactical combat where their skills as a commander makes the difference in battle. The game introduces six new sub-factions and a wealth of new units, structures, and powers to the armies of the Global Defense Initiative, the Brotherhood of Nod, and the enigmatic alien Scrin. The Xbox 360 version features a revolutionary new radial interface designed specifically for console gamers. Taking RTS controls to a whole new level, players utilize the command stick to build, deploy, and attack. [Electronic Arts] Expand

  1. If you own C&C TW, buy this as it will be the best money you put on your PC.

A very satisfying expansion that adds in very fun and powerful units as well as a fun new game type.
  3. The global conquest mode is a much needed fresh breath of air in the series, but sadly it fails to deliver.
  4. An excellent example of an expansion that does exactly what it should - iron out deficiencies and add a bunch more content without ruining the gameplay.

Broader multiplayer, daft campaign. [May 2008, p.76]
  6. Regrettably, Kane's Wrath doesn't exactly do a good job of delivering on the kind of epic single-player experience you'd hope to get after an excellent campaign from the previous game.
  7. Overall, Kane's Wrath feels like a final opus to the 'good old days' of the PC RTS. It's good solid fun for the hardcore RTS fan, but a huge pain for anyone that wants something more casual.

Kane's Wrath adds a lot of variety as well as faction diversity with the new units and upgrades ect. Aside from the already new things Kane's Wrath adds a lot of variety as well as faction diversity with the new units and upgrades ect. Aside from the already new things in Kane's Wrath, it also changed and fixed some issues that were in the original game such as the economy and underpowered units. If you are a strategist, then there's the very difficult Global Conquest Mode which also adds hundreds of hours of gameplay. The campaign, although short, was okay. A large amount of high quality maps has also been added. Subfactions introduced a lot of new play styles and customization. Finally epic units are totally kickass. For a low cost, Kane's Wrath revitalizes the original game and I highly recommend this to anyone who has enjoyed the original game. Expand

The Scrin, Nod, and GDI are divided into 3 “sub-factions”, where 2 of the sub-factions have a unique military specialization. The other sub-faction has its default features from Tiberium Wars. Kane’s Wrath provides a ton of additional custom maps for skirmishes and gives the player plenty of extra content to continue enjoying C&C 3. Expand

However, I wouldn't recommend expecting too much from the campaign. I found it to be far less exciting than the C&C3 campaigns and not particularly satisfying. In the end, I'm glad I bought/played Kane's Wrath, but it won't ever have a special place in my heart... Expand
