    I still love CC Longest Day, was glad to see it was rehabbed on Matrixgames! It's not perfect, but pulls you in when you hear your guys panicking and falling back, or shouting "C'mon!" charging into battle.

    This is a remake and expansion of "CC5: Invasion: Normandy", and offers a bigger campaign map with new maps. The game, the troops, the weapons, the interface, the graphics... well everything is the same as in CC5, so if you liked CC5, this is a must play. If you never played Close Combat series, this is where you want to start too because it has all the elements of the series with a bigThis is a remake and expansion of "CC5: Invasion: Normandy", and offers a bigger campaign map with new maps.     Popular and well known strategy series got a very nice facelift with this highly enhanced remake which makes a good game even better. It's a matter of honour for every virtual soldier to play this game because of its atmosphere, historical accuracy and surprising accessibility.
