A puzzle platformer with time travel, similar to Braid, Misadventures of Winterbottom, RePete and a couple of other games.
Pros: - it has puzzles where you create clones of yourself, press levers etc. If you haven't played any similar games, you will find these puzzles amazing Cons: - the game doesn't feel unique. I mean, I have played such stuff for at least a few times

    Cons:
    - the game doesn't feel unique. I mean, I have played such stuff for at least a few times already.
    - the animations look clunky, and overall the 2D art looks unpolished. I can't say what exactly it is, but it just feels like a low-budget product.

Basically, Misadventures of Winterbottom but without the humor or amazing graphics. It still works, and sure go ahead and get this game if you haven't had enough of time puzzles yet.

Gamesoft is on to something with Clockwork; an interesting premise, a unique story, and characters that didn’t actually feel two-dimensional and bland. The only let-down were the slightly repetitive puzzles, which was, sadly, the majority of the game. That being said, I still enjoyed the experience and only really wanted more variety.

The concept is there and it is a nicely crafted challenge for the puzzle-platformer fans, but I would wait for Gamesoft to fix the bugs before purchasing the game. But if this is done, the story, the artwork, and the challenge will make for a great gaming experience.

This journey takes you across the beautiful steampunk city of Watchtower, which is a joy to behold. Sadly, the annoying gibberish voice acting does damage the emotional experience to some degree, but you’ll be far too busy scratching your head solving one of Clockwork’s enjoyable puzzles with the use of its largely functional time-bending puzzle mechanics.
